Yessir! I believe it came out March 9. I jumped on it pretty quick, and it’s currently the same price as the WEN. I expect the price to jump up by the end of the summer. So far it’s been a pretty great product 👍🏼

The difference has been more impactful than I expected. I use to constantly sweep and shot vac my shop. Even my editing PC would get dirty in my office. It’s one of those things where you didn’t realize how bad you needed one until you got one

I take a super bright flashlight to see the particles in the dark. I’ve run 2 filters in my small 24x24 workshop and after 4 hours there were still lots of particles in the air. The only way to get rid of dust and particles is to extract them to the outside.
The flashlight is a great idea, and I do agree with you that extracting them out is the only way to get 100%, but these do an amazing job. I run the machine every night, and I have seen a huge difference in my shop
Congrats on a new baby! How do you feel about the purifier a month later? I just got one based on your review - before I open it, what do you think of it? Is it holding up well? Making a difference?
I definitely don’t think you’ll be disappointed! Now, if you have a very large shop, you may want to get something larger, but for the price point on this machine, I don’t think there is a better option.
It has been plenty big enough for my shop, and mine is a good pretty good size. The fan has been running just fine and it’s still just as quiet as the day I bought it.
I hope that helps you decide what you want to do with it.

I have a 55ft x 50ft shop with 18ft ceiling how well do you think it would work?
This would help some, but for a shop that big, I think you’d be better off with an industrial size system, or building one with some large fans. Hope this helps 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I feel like you should put it diagonal and a little further from the wall for the intake, too.
That’s not a bad idea, the reason I put it where I did is because I do all my sanding directly underneath this spot. The directions that come with the machine recommend that you hang it at least 2 feet from the wall

How big is your shop?
The shop is 27x30 but it’s broken up into 3 separate areas. My shop, my office, and my home gym. The total area for the shop is about 18x20
Interested in how you came to the conclusion that this is the best budget machine on the market. The stats on this machine are super misleading, it's really not very powerful at all. This manufacturer lists airflow in cubic meters per hour (cmh), while most units on the market are listed in cubic feet per minute (cfm). The max listed airflow of 400 cmh is actually only 235 cfm. That means this machine is about half as powerful as the Wen or ShopFox budget models which are available for about half the price. Seems to me like they intentionally changed the units on airflow to make it harder for shoppers to compare.
I may be wrong, but I don’t believe the shop fox or the Wen came out in 2023. I bought this in May 2023, and it has been a great machine for me so far. Of all the machines that I looked at, I believe this was the best budget option last year. One of the best features is how the fan automatically changes speeds depending on the air quality at the present time
