    Many thanks to you sir, my window came off track and rolled up sideways. This video was perfectly clear on the problem and how to fix it, mine had one of those 10mil bolts come off and luckily it was right where I could reach it! Put it back in and now I'm back in business. Thanks again!

    Thanks for the video. I haven't done the repair yet ( I'm just waiting for the glass to arrive) , but watching you explain everything helps me feel more prepared and less stressful. My dad and I plan on doing this repair together. My window was shattered by hail. Utah, US

    This helped me! My window came off the track and I knew i could fix it myself because I’ve done a little bit of work on my car before. I’m a young woman so people always tell me I can’t and say to go to the mechanic lol. But with something like this, I figured it out quickly with your video. I appreciate it so much, thanks

      Nice, make sure you lubricate it with silicone lubricant so it doesn't get caught and get off track again. From personal experience with this car

    I'm from Washington state. Someone was trying to break into my car and the window completely came out of the rails somehow. I opened it and put it back into place. Your video helped tremendously. Thank you!

    thank you my window was going up like a Lamborghini due to one bolt has fallen down, hopefully nothing was broken. when i was using the automatic to let the window go up it was going down half way afterward. so anyway i followed your instruction to put everything back good, then i turned car to on, hold button down 10 seconds, hold button up 10 seconds, turn car off. this also fixed my automatic problem. so 2 problem solves i am so happy !

    Thank you Paul, but I have a question, why do we need to smash the old glass? Can we just remove the old glass?

    • @PaulinPerth
      @PaulinPerth  4 месяца назад

      Yes, you can absolutely remove the old window without smashing it. I just did it to recreate a common situation (a vandal has smashed your window).

    Somehow my glass isn’t riding in the rubber track/gasket towards the front of the door. It rides on top of the rubber which doesn’t let it close. Any tips on getting it back in without unbolting the window?

    • @PaulinPerth
      @PaulinPerth  7 месяцев назад +1

      Nope. You need to unbolt the window so that you can get the edges of the windows correctly in the groove at the front and back. You will need to tilt the window diagonally to achieve that. The good news is that you've already found the video that shows you how to do it...... Paul.
