Omg!!! Thank you so much for making this video. My driver speaker went out and I needed a how to video. The links for the equipment helped and so did this video thanks!!! 🙏🏾
I've seen video, they pop off the dash with a simple plastic prying tool. The stock speaker comes off the speaker grill, you unplug the stock one, slide the new speaker into the speaker grill, plug in, and snap back into the dash.
Yup just pop off grille then there 2 screws Tip You’ll need a stubby Phillips head or a 90 degree adapter as normal screw driver won’t fit as it will hit the windshield’
Very helpful video. I don't see the info about where to buy the speaker mount brackets to put the new speakers in before bolting on to the door. Please provide.
Hi I’ve just bought the kicker dsc670 for my 2015 mazda 3 it says on box 240 watts peak you think that will be good enough as im sure you said yours was 100 watts ? I do have the Bose set up tho and they do look awesome speakers. Im just waiting for the mounting plate to turn up to sort them out.
Hey friend, thanks for useful video! speakers that you installing in a video is the same one you posted in link? because it looks like different series.. and what to choose if so..
I have 2015 none bose system, and installed 4 ohm speakers around... and now the stock amp doesnt have enough power to play all 4 corners ( and the stock tweeters in the dash)...i have to move the fader to the front or they will cut off... (120 max 75 RMS mb quarts) i guess the stock ones are actually 2 ohm?
For the Bose package, the front door speakers are subwoofers and are only sent the sub signal, or so that’s what I’ve heard, but it seems right to me. I’m sure you can find the info you need on the MazdaRevolution forum website
Do you need the brackets for the rear doors as well or are they installed differently? I saw a different video that said you only need brackets for the front, but never showed the rear.
@zidelll I didn't, in my case my front right speaker was buzzing due to the rear seal peeling off the metal frame. I repaired it with liquid silicone and reinstalled it. Never touched the other speakers.

I mistakenly followed this guide (no offense as it is well done) but there IS a diff between the stock and Bose setups. I have the Bose version on a 2014 Mazda 3, bought these brackets and speakers and they are not a good replacement at all. There is little to no bass whereas the other (not blown) front speaker on the right side is cranking bass. These are just not a good fit for the Bose versions without some kind of additional modification to the radio / amps / crossovers.
FYI - if you order speakers from Crutch field, they'll throw in the adapters and harnesses for free
Both of them ? Because from what im seeing on checkout it’s only 1 of each
@@MrGuyOnTheFlyI literally just got mine from this website today. They came in pairs but just read the description first.
Do they still do that?? I couldn't see where they do when I checked
@@MrGuyOnTheFlythey have them as free additions when you checkout. Makes the speakers, adapter, and cables a bundle.

Ditto
Just did this myself with your video’s help. My 2014 Mazda3 has working speaking for the first time in years, lol! Thanks so much
No problem man, glad I could help!
Replaced mine (only front) - way better quialty and bass. A lot more bass. Thank you for this
Wiesz morze czy jest w mazdzie glosnik subwofer, oprucz tych co sa w dzwiach i pulpicie wysokotonowe.
Is it hard to replace the ones on the dash? A video would be helpful

This was a customers car or I would do a video for you. It is very easy, @peterGarcia-yz7gx is completely right!
Yup just pop off grille then there 2 screws

If you go on the video description it gives you the links. I ended up getting the same ones and I'm installing them today. Good luck
@@estefanosilva6931 is it possible to install them in the rear too?
Do I need to disconnect battery or anything first? This is so helpful, ty
Yes disconnect the battery!
Thanks for the great video. Looks like my driveway, almost with the dark blue mazda next to the gray Ram 1500. I'll be doing my wife's speakers soon.
great vid 👍 would like to see more on mazda 3

He said 1000

Thank you for checking it out! They are a different series now but both will work
my aim is to replace with a higher output speaker coz originals are quiet poor...will sound output improve
hey its that the same watts on old speaker ? or its ok to change if not the same?
Can you tell me what I should buy and what measurements to change for the 4 doors since I have a 2016 Mazda Cx5 to order through Amazon please
I have a 2014 with the bose..can use the same parts that you are using (speaker and harness connector)
Wondering the same thing - I have a 2016 with Bose
What about for the front dash speakers? Can you done 1 on that
My tweeters acting up on the dash too on my left side I assume that's what it's called since I can only find chinese vids on it being replaced 😂
Is it the same for rear speakers
I believe so
Will this work for a 2017 Mazda ?
Yup! Just did it. 2017 Touring
what would the rms be for the speakers?
You did not put splash guards will the speakers encounter the same problem since gonna get wet again?
Do the Speakers for this Door type have to be circular?
I bought a pair of speakers that are like overalls, and I think I might bought the wrong ones
Yeah man they got to be circle!
You mean oval?
Ordered CS 6.75 inch Kicker for my 2015 mazda 3 GS

I pulled my base speakers - 4 ohm is printed on the speakers
more ohms means less power consumption
Are those working with Bose speakers as well? I need to replace them.

@@TheSpecterRanger Thank you for the help. I will check them out!
Cześć. Powiedz czy w tej Mazdzie jest firmowy subwoofer i gdzie się znajduje. Dziekuje
I’m struggling to find a rear speaker adapter
Did you have the Bose system?
It’s the stock system, this was a customers care but from what I remember no. This was a base model
@@beginnersgarage3542any issues with the speakers cutting out like another commenter mentioned?
since I installed an amplifier and it doesn't sound good so it has the same original speakers in the doors which I can put in
Is it the same for the rear speakers?
I think the speakers in the back are different speakers overall, but the process is the same? Don’t quote me tho😂
does it work with a 2017?
Yes - the are no speaker changes betwenn bm and bn
This is perfect!

@@ScienceWinsEveryTime gotcha yea I need to replace mine and can't find anything on the rear speakers
great vid! but no way youre smacking the other car with your door like that bro XD 1:56
Lmao thanks man, I promise it’s touching it very lightly XD
Amazon says the adapter wire won’t fit a 2016 Mazda 3 - this seems not correct to me. Would you know?
Crutchfield has some adapters that will fit your car
I have a 2015 Mazda 3 I gt and the front speakers are different, 9in in the front
Thanks for the vid.
Wiesz morze gdzie znajduje sie glosnik basowy
Did you only do speakers and not an amplifier? I plan on upgrading my speakers only but know basically nothing and I’m scared it’ll sound like crap.
If you replace them with them with coaxial speakers you don’t need too.
Are those stock speakers coaxial or component?
They are component. He is replacing them using coax though.
Thank you
