- Daniel Penny, 24, gave his thoughts in a series of videos released by his lawyers just days after an interview where he said he had a moral obligation to protect his fellow passengers. Neely, who had been struggling with mental illness and homelessness in recent years, died after being put in a chokehold by Penny, who restrained him with the help of other riders. The May 1 incident was captured on video. 'I wasn't trying to choke him to death' Penny claims in the video that aims to tell his side of the story.

I’d like to hear testimony from other witnesses
he s a real international hero
Theres far too many men of colour behaving like this. Yet not one person has the balls to stand up and put the blame where it belongs.
mental illness is ignored in this country
TOO many men of color being active, mass shooters, killing innocent citizens because they can't/won't deal with-LIFE.This has been going on for years,TOO many years !!! How many people are-DEAD-from these, weak, simpy males rampages, don't count them, way too many.
spoken like a true white supremacist.
Well spoken young man. 👏🏻 Son.
HERO is fitting. WE ARE ALLOWED TO PROACTIVELY OR UNWILLINGLY DEFEND OUR LIVES
FULL STOP
well, you are allowed to act, that much is true... as to whether those actions are legal or just will be determined in court.
what i saw was a well crafted speech, likely by his lawyer.
@@paladro what you saw was the truth ❄️. You just can’t handle it. Subjective feelings paladro. Objective facts 442 W30
@@user-dl2iy5yv2k huh? so you've proven you don't know what subjective or objective mean... kudos for that.
he'll get his day in court, that's about as objective as it gets... you on the otherhand have subjectively pardoned this man for his acitons, without even hearing testimony or seeing evidence, all based on your feelings.
@@paladro ....and YOU made accusations about an alleged "well crafted speech" by this guy's lawyer without any evidence to support your allegation. How does that make you any better than 442 W30? It doesn't.
@@paladro what will the result be when he is rightly acquitted?? Burn Loot Mayhem, as always..
He is at least 30 years old
He is at least a non human
thank you everyone for your comments and opinions I still think that he applied to much pressure but what would I do if in that position fear is a horrible feeling .
Not guilty!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This dude should have exercised his 5th Amendment rights. For example, how does he know when the video recording(s) began? Does he have all of the recordings? And if the video recording didn't begin until "after things were under control", why the need to record at all? It would seem that if the video recording began AFTER Neely was placed in the chokehold, then someone must have believed that the chokehold actually escalated the situation and that it needed to be documented. Notice that it wasn't Neely's behavior itself that warranted video documentation, but the response chokehold, which suggests that Penny's actions where more egregious than Neely's behavior.
they also teach that RNC as a killing move... you forgot to mention that.
why are you people so determined to defend crack head criminals
Paladro: 💯 ✔ EXACTLY.
As somebody who is trained in jujutsu and has used the RNC more than once that's simply not true. While it can kill somebody it's very easy not to kill somebody with it you can also just restrain someone with it or put them to sleep.
@@captainanonymous6665 So did he misuse it or abuse it?
Where would we be if we killed everyone making verbal threats?
2 nd.
people threaten to kill somebody alot so a verbal threat is words there was other men that could've jumped in a subdue this man also but this Mr. Penny should have realized that the pressure on the throat is dangerous and didn't need to hang on for 5 to 7 minutes when his body went limp time to stop
I believe he said that he release pressure several times during the 5 minutes. Big difference when it comes to intent
@@avenue8822 There's lots of people in jail for accidental killings.
@@avenue8822 Second degree manslaughter doesn't require proof of intent to kill. The point is that if he was going to subdue Neely there were less lethal methods to do so.
@@thedeal9526 I understand that. The Jury will need to decide if he "recklessly caused the death of another person."
My opinion is that he used reasonable force. Just my opinion.
Wasn't a choke and drugfiend dancer was moving and struggling until the Cops arrived..Wasn't 15 minutes..More media lies...
Don't know how long it was,a man is still-DEAD.I'm hoping he does some jail-time,so no more school for him.Just the school of hard-time. LOL. And hope the booty-bandits hit him up. LOL.
@@powerbadpowerbad stick to your bud lite and keep your sick fantasies to yourself..
The trains have cameras. Lol, busted!
Chock hold someone for over 3minutes Is definitely Overkill,You only need 10-15 seconds if done properly.
