Instead of the usual Web Dev Challenge hackathon, Google Gemini has an AI hackathon happening right now! Join up and see what you can build: lwj.dev/google-hackathon
Always a good time when you see Brian Holt in a video! I never knew you could build an entire site using bash... that's crazy, in a good way. Awesome job as always, good job to all the devs.
I'm always excitedly waiting for new episodes of this web dev challenge. It motivates me whenever I feel burned out from working on my personal projects. Thank you, Jason! Please don't stop producing content like this. Greetings from a web developer in the Philippines!
gives me inspiration to build more cool stuff. You tend to forget how powerful you are as a software developer forgetting how you can build things on your own when you work for a company and just spend your time optimizing and enhancing small parts in apps. This show gives me the drive to build something small and cool when I get some free time. Thank you.

It's happing again, this is the best series on RUclips, love this series, love u brother and your work. Hats off brother, watching this series boots the dead mind ♥♥💝💝
I just found this page, I’m also brand new to all of this. Your video is amazing!! I love the interviews in the middle of the video and the structure in general. It’s amazing
Hello Jason, I started watching this Web Dev series a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say, every video leaves me amazed. They’re incredibly inspiring and packed with knowledge, but I also find them a bit overwhelming. As a beginner programmer, I feel lost, but I really want to learn and explore some of the tools you use. They seem to make programming so much easier, more efficient, and faster compared to writing everything manually. I’d love to get your advice on where and how to start learning these tools. I’m currently in my second year of Computer Science in college and have just completed a full course in Java, so I have a solid programming foundation (I’m thinking of starting to learn Python). Note : if you are a programmer and you have any advice or suggestions I would love to hear from you too. Any guidance would mean a lot. thank you (:
Using AI you're actually helping Google fine-tune their AI which will put many developers out of a job. There's a reason why AI is free. They need thousands of people making thousands of examples to fine-tune their AI. Using AI is actually creating a mouse trap for yourself.
I love your videos mate, from Kenya. I have subscribed to your news letter. I am in bootcamp learning j.s and I can say it is feels good. Coding is fun!

@@learnwithjason ta for that. I do have a follow up question... do you have a resource somewhere that lists all the projects [completed in this series] which are publicly available?
it's a joke from Cassie Evans that ended up on a shirt here: cottonbureau.com/p/WC7E8J/shirt/curly-bois-night-owl#/23537011/pullover-crewneck-unisex-basic-midweight-navy-poly-cotton-s
In this series, I do not think that Jason correctly integrates the Gemini. Based on the video, he just used Gemini to generate a code for him and not to integrate Gemini to a project.
you’re correct that I didn’t put Gemini in the app itself. the technical wording of the challenge is to use Gemini as part of building the app, which could include generating app code itself and/or having the published app use Gemini - after seeing what everyone else built I felt like I wanted a do-over on this one 😅

Yeah. It is a good masterpiece.

I can't believe @bashcop pulled off a full stack bash framework 😆
And here's me thinking you could only use Bash for shell scripting.

I was wondering, do any of these projects get pushed live, for the rest of us to use?

I don’t. currently you’d have to look at the descriptions of each episode to get the projects. this is a good idea, though 👀

@Learn With Jason that shirt is cool, where do you get it?

Do you guys deploy these or are the on your local server
since AI calls have cost associated these were all demoed locally

I have a question math resources are good for programming and AI 😢?
knowing math helps with certain parts of programming. the logic learned in math is especially helpful
How you guys code this😮 , I'm soo noob at it, How can learn to code like you guys? What medicine do you guy's takes daily???
steady practice, a strong community, and lots of smaller, fun ideas shipped 💜
Hello, is it still necessary to learn coding?
