    My takeaway is that true senior developers aren’t afraid to say I don’t know and have a great attitude struggling to figure out problems. Loved this episode!

    Alex is someone who has fun coding. Just give him a concept and he flies away with it. Solves the issue so he doesn't fail the task and just have fun adding more features. I love this episode and you just got a subscriber!

    As a 35 yr old woman who is studying web dev for full stack development, this was so fun to watch. The brainstorming and the execution was so fun! So happy the algorithm recommended this to me 😊. Keep these going!

    5:20 "I'm not one of those developers that work fast" HE SAID and built a functional app (I'd consider them 2 apps), created a character using CSS, built 3d designs on Blender, and did it all within 4 hours. The first two apps were like "All right, I maybe could do it" but Alex brought it up a notch.
    Jason's app was unlucky in this episode. It was a great idea and a great execution, I would love to spend hours on it, but unfortunately for Jason, Alex overshadowed everyone.

    I absolutely loved the whole idea of coming together to build something with such seamless integration. Shaundai's confidence is truly inspiring, she shows it effortlessly and proves she's at the top of her game! Really cool stuff. I'm definitely going to check out Algolia, it seems like a really cool tool too.

    Never crossed in my mind before, this is probably content that we need right now. I'm like almost never personally like the concept of reality show because I can't tell if it's legit or scripted, mostly for enternainment purpose sometimes I enjoyed it. But, this one have it's own potential, I'm curious of what's coming in the next content like new chellanges etc. Carry on.

    This is such an amazing video series! I just started taking programming seriously so I am very beginner (tips will be very helpful if you can on this journey) but this video opened my eyes to the possibilities of what I can do with code!     This was a great episode! it's so fun seeing people I follow on Twitter sitting in front of the code and struggling like the rest of us. Nick was such a resource and sleeper-salesman. I want to try Algolia for something now.
    it would be cool to have some Netflixers battle eachother. Primeagen (former), Shaundai, Trashdev etc.

    Alex, as a fellow over-engineer I understand. I’ve noticed we either over-engineer in 3 directions by either exceeding the app functionality goal with useless features while poorly focusing on the integral parts, rebuild a way to build an app(me🤦🏾‍♂️), or over invest in to one (typically none core) feature. The idea of switching pages based on prior search results is interesting af, cheers mate🥂

    Would love to see an alt cut (maybe just for subscribers) that shows more of the upfront talk given by the sponsor to the devs before the challenge begins, in this case more from NIck. I imagine there has to be more of that pre-game info and Q&A between Nick and all the participants before planning start time that is just cut for time.
    Looking forward to the Web Dev Challenge Hackathon kick-off call on Friday.
