Still not as hype as the Sonic 3 & Knuckles true final boss. Metal Sonic seemed like a better boss than the final one.
Am i the only one who doesn't get the stort behind this game? Who/what are those robots and whats with this special time warping crystal?
Nightangel Sardonyx Alright, so let me explain. The time-traveling crystal is the Phantom Ruby, and so Sonic and Tails, and Eggman pick up a signal from it. But due to Eggman snatching it, it causes Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to warp through space and end up in different areas, including Green Hill, Little Planet, etc. This also causes Angel Island to fall into the ocean once more, and it transforms the Eggrobos at the start of the game into the Hard Boiled Heavies, the new villains in this game. So it’s up to Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to stop them, yadda yadda yadda.

I doubt it. The new characters looks needless to me, and the gameplay looks... nice? but I expect tons of bugs, and a very cringeworth story.
But I hope that sega and sonic team learn from this game: to keep sonic a simple game, and the cast to the strict minimum.
Who else thinks that Christian Whitehead should update Sonic 2 and make super tails playable because of this game having super tails nether games have super emeralds yet tails can be super in one but not the other :)
