More likely that the judge (who gets paid from the same bank account as the prosecutor, cops, and jurors) just wants to drag it out as long as possible, that way even if he wins, he still loses. It took me months to get to trial for using chalk on my own property and I still got sentenced to community service. Each trip required me to get parking, days of preparation, pay for copies, spend hours researching, the list goes on. Then the judge changed the time of the trial so that I was late, causing me to be flustered, and then proceeded to not allow me to put any of the evidence I had prepared infront of the jury. My property is still covered in chalk, but damn, what a pain in the ass. There is nothing free about free speech. God bless those who point the camera back at these people and shine the light on their tyrannical behaviors.

@@thefirm9746 your criticism is invalid without some reasoning. First and foremost, allowing a mayor to decree something outside of state law is authoritarian by definition. Secondly, you still fail to challenge any of his real arguments, which only makes you sound arrogant and lacking in credibility. You, not liking his argument, it's format or tone, doesn't invalidate his claims. The law should not be applied in ways that are fundamentally alien to common sense, or in ways that common people do not understand. That alone invalidates the trespassing claim, by virtue of then being unable to prove his actions were with the aforementioned requirement of trespassing law, which largely include "knowingly and willfully remaining on...", which to his understanding, he was abiding by the law and acting in a lawful manner when he was arrested. If State law supercedes local law(and executive action), how can he even be prosecuted, especially when he clearly lays out how state law and case law supports his position.
