  • Fellow Patriots, I was peacefully exercising my 1st Amendment Rights at the Harrison County Government Center in Corydon, Indiana. Everything was going smooth until some Public Servants stopped working to video and take pictures of me because they were “creeped” out by me…not so creeped out to stay away but just enough to call the Police. When the Police arrived they asked for ID which I refused to give, and then tried to say because I was wearing black that’s cause for concern…ridiculous. Please be sure to hit the like button, it truly helps spread this around for more Patriots to see it and I appreciate it!

I wish they identified themselves though because you even gave them a heads up that you could request EVERYTHING. GOOD JOB

It is understandable. People are made afraid of each other by certain politicians working their way up by over emphasizing natural fear people have. In addition media showing us constant shootings and killings and bad people. That is why people are afraid. I cannot blame them. I think the public servants people here did nothing wrong at all. We all want perfect audits, but considering no one appeared to be in the know about audits, I think everyone did amazingly well.
The ladies were skeptical but had a friendly open discussion with you.
The one officer was a little daft (your daytime line was hilarious!), but they didn't "babysit" you around the building like other places have. The main officer seemed reasonable and they all identified and were civil with you.
The guy in the auditor's office should receive phone calls from people to his supervisor. That service was AMAZING!
So while some things could be a little bit cleaner, overall factoring in this was a learning experience, I think they did quite well. The next audit of them will likely be superb.
It's nice to see positive audits sometimes. Great work as always Sean...you're the best!

Something I have realized from watching audits from across the country all the "opulent public buildings" and facilities government operations has and if you notice, most are sparsely populated by citizens! It seems "in this day & age" that many of these opulent public buildings are now trying to keep our good citizens from entering these fine, taxpayer funded opulent public buildings by requiring an appoint or showing ID before allowing us to enter. I don't know why the auditor community doesn't understand this: of course, filming is not itself nefarious, but it's the refusal to stop filming when asked, or identify yourself, or actually ask to utilize the services provided, not leaving, etc., COMBINED with the filming is a recipe to trigger suspicion and a potential police response. You are engaging in willful ignorance if you are genuinely surprised that Long Island or any other auditor would be treated suspiciously.

Dang Sean, you were just a couple of miles from me! I would had taken you out for lunch if I knew you were in the area. I have watched nearly all of your audits and often fantasized of you auditing my neck of the woods. I am very happy and proud to see that this one was not bad compared to the insanity I have seen on even your average audits. Certainly not perfect, but one of the "cleaner" ones for sure. I work in New Albany, IN (10 minutes from where you were) and historically, they've had one of the highest paying Police forces in the State. I'd love to see how they and their Floyd County government would respond to one of your audits.
Good job, man. Keep up the good work.

I really appreciate your style of audit and your commitment. When it comes to non-law enforcement public servants, I would assume that most are trained to call the police if they see or feel anything they deem suspicious even though totally legal. We see police that don't know the 1st amendment. I am not surprised to see non law enforcement servants that don't know. Your greatest impact is when you are able to open the eyes of the people in charge of making policy or at least training. Keep up the good work!!!

Being that its thier first exposure to an audit, they had a reasonably calm response. It seemed organic and almost exciting for the workers. They would do very well in another one moving forward now that they understand its legal and not so odd.
