Akihiko should be higher due to his crit dmg being bugged so he does more dmg than he is supposed to allowing him to out dmg his own theurgy

For the beginning if the video i have to COMPLETELY disagree with you putting Junpei over Mitsuru in FES, you said that " she doesn't learn any severe spells " as if Bufudyne + ice Boost ( accessory )+ Ice Amp doesn't literally have more than TWICE of Brave Blades base power.
    Budufyne: √320 = 17,88 ×1,25×1,5 = (33,54)² = 1125 effective base power
For reference Brave Blade is 550 (×2 = 1100) base power, meaning that Mitsurus bufudyne is TWICE as powerful as Junpeis Brave Blade. In fact you said " Mitsuru in Reload is what she SHOULD have been " despite the fact that ... no ? In FES Mitsuru was the objectively the BEST DPS Party member, meanwhile ( as ill explain later ) she's actually the 3rd dps party member behind Akihiko and Junpei and before she gets Diamond dust she's actually also behind Aigis and Ken
Dyne magic was BUSTED in the original p3 , why else do you think all dyne spells were nerfed to only 160 base power in P4 and P5, and even when they got buffed again in Reload they only got buffed to 220
    For Reload:
    1. Aigis trait is basically " Phys Boost/amp " which buffs all phys attacks but only by 10% / 20%, however this does stack with boost and amp of accessories/weapons, I do agree with you that she isn't as good as she was in FES mainly due to how late she gets her Ma-buffs and also how late she gets her good phys moves, but I feel like she should still be heigher than Mitsuru and Ken, especially since she's the 4th strongest party member in the end game.
    2. I dont agree with Akihiko being so low, he's the only character ( other than Koromaru ) that gets both boost and amp of his element ( something even Mitsuru doesn't have ) and because of how early you can get the amp accessories this means that as soon as he gets Elec boost he becomes the first party member who can maximize his magic damage + when he finally gets God Hand he actually becomes the second strongest damage dealing party member ( that's not even mentioning his trait that buffs the power of buffs applied to him from ×1,4 to ×1,8 ) so even tho Mitsuru technically SHOULD outdamage him with pure numbers, if he has Tarukaja applied he's actually the strongest party member.
    Example:
    > Diamond dust + Ice Boost + Ice Amp + Magic ability + Tarukaja (30% boost ) :
    √(600)×1,25×1,5×1,25×1,3= 74,63
    > Gods Hand + strike boost + strike amp + Tarukaja (69% boost thanks to Akihikos trait ):
    √(800)×1,25×1,5×1,69= 89,62
    3. I feel like Koromaru should honestly be number 1, Getsu-ei during a full moon is 552 base power that he STARTS with which is almost as high as Brave Blade (650) a SEVERE LATE GAME skill + gets Masukukaja and a trait that AUTOMATICALLY applies Masukunda during every encounter thats essentially " ALI DANCE " on the ENTIRE party, and with power howling ( all party charge ) he powers up Mc, Akihiko, Junpei, Shinji and Aigis from the MOMENT you YOU GET HIM + Revolution which stacks with Apt Pupil and Junpeis Crit boosters. Koromaru honestly knocked aigis down as the best support party member in the game.
    4. Junpei should honestly be number 2, he's actually the strongest party member in the game with DPS, and yes ... this INCLUDES THE PROTAGONIST Junpei can disg out more damage than the MC himself. That's because of Junpeis passives ( crit boost/amp ) which buff the damage of critical hits. And ots actually possible to get Junpei to 50% crit chance : Masakados Katan (Apt pupil doubles crit rate ) + Dragon boots ( auto rebellion, adds 7% in crit chance ) + innate crit boost and amp which increase crit by 5% and 10% (additive ) and increase crit damage by 20% and 40% + Revolution from Koromaru which increases crit rate by 15% (additive) :
Brave Blade has innate 20% crit so:
    20×2(apt pupil) = 40+7(rebellion)+15(revolution)+10(crit amp) = 72% crit chance
Crits increase damage by 1,5 with crit amp thats also increased by 1,4 :
    √(650)×1,5×1,4 = 53,53
With slash amp (×1,5) this jumps to : 80,30
For comparison, Mitsuru with Diamond Dust + Ice boost + Ice Amp + Magic ability ( a set up thats she won't get until the very end of the game ):
    √(600)×1,25×1,5×1,25 = 57,40
    4. You ... honestly overestimate Mitsuru by a lot .... despite being the " Magic Nuke " of the team, before she gets Concentrate at level 55 she's actually stuck being the 6th DPS party member for the majority of the game behind Ken, Koromaru, Aigis, Akihiko and Junpei, here's the math to prove it:
    For Ken and Koromaru:
    Kougaon/Eigaon: √(350)×1,25×1,5 = 35,07
For Akihiko + Aigis + Junpei who all benfit from Koromarus power howling ( charge is a 25% boost over 2 turns ) :
    Gigantic fist (+ strike boost gloves and strike amp accessory ): √(380)×1,25×1,5 = 36,55 ×1,25 = 45,68
    Blade of Fury (+Slash amp accessory, junpei gets no slash boost weapon): √(42)×1,5×2/4 = 19,44/38,88 × 1,25 = 24,30/48,60
    Myriad arrows (+phys boost + pierce amp accessory , aigis gets no pierce boost ): √(40)×1,1×1,5×2/5 = 20,87/52,27 ×1,25 = 26,88/65,22
    Meanwhile Bufudyne ( ice boost + Ice Amp accessory ) : √(220)×1,25× 1,5 = 27,81
So before she gets Concentrate the only character that Mitsuru outdamsges is Yukari and Ken. And even after getting concentrate she's still behind Akihiko, Junpei, Aigis and Koromaru who all have much heigher base power moves , on fact even in the very end game when she finally gets Diamond Dust + the sword that gives her ( Magic Ability ) at the VERY END of the game she's actually STILL behind Junpei and Akihiko because of their theurgies that buff their stats passively.
Mitsuru also has the worst 2nd theurgy, Almighty is actually a huge nerf for her, because that means her Theurgy doesn't get boosted by Ice boost/ice amp, this means that Mitsurus first theurgy ( which is ice ) actually OUTDAMAGES her second Theurgy.
You put Mitsuru at number 2 but personally? Imo she's the worst party member in the game, she's a " damage nuke " that's stuck nearly dead last for DPS almost the entire game

    My list of Reload:
    1. Yukari Best Girl 💖👑: Her characteristic reduces the SP cost of healing skills by 75% and makes her the most useful healer in the game and she charges her Theurgy by healing allies, something that will do every time, her wind skills are so good and she can give Concentrate to all the party members, which is awesome.
    2. Koromaru Best dog: His high agility makes him untouchable, it has Debilitate, Revolution, strong fire and dark skills and can give Charge to all the party.
    3. Aigis: Her physical skills are so strong and she charges her Theurgy faster every time she uses a physical attack, so is so easy to charge it and it has good support skills.
    4. Ken: Divine Intervention is the best Theurgy in the game without counting Armageddon, he has Heat Riser, good electric skills, light skills, healing skills and revive allies, Tetrakarn and Makarakarn.
    5. Junpei: His critical rate combined with Revolution or Bloody Charge, he could destroy the enemies, but his magic stat is so low.
    6. Akihiko: He's still a good party member, good electric and physical skills, his AOE Theurgy is really good to deal high damage to all foes and his Theurgy charges faster when he is buffed, which is nice.
    7. Mitsuru: She's the strongest magic attacker, but that's all, she has Concentrate, but Yukari can give Concentrate to all the party, her second Theurgy is Almighty that ignores resistance, but the Almighty attacks already ignores resistances, so this doesn't make sense and her Theurgy charges faster when she puts an ailment in an enemy and has more critical chance when an enemy has an ailment, but there are some ailments that doesn't make any damage or are not very useful and the ailments against over leveled enemies or bosses are completely useless and Mitsuru losses half of her utility. Sorry Mitsuru fans.
    8. Shinjiro: He's completely broken, I don't deny that, but he's at the bottom of the list just because you can only use him for one month and one full moon mission.

I think our thoughts are similar, but we listed them differently based on how long they're useful for lol.
I originally had koro at number 2, but considering how long it takes him to get Debilitate, I had to knock him down a few notches.
      Nice List 👌.

Freeze counts as an aliment. And pair freeze with agis junpei or mc with a phy build you always crit
Koromaru agility is nice but i generally prefef having a second more consistent damage dealer(yukari is too good to be removed)
Junpeis magic stat being low means jack shit when he can do insane phyiscal damage and almsot always crit.
Ageis has really good damage,is a fucking tank,a pretty insane therugy and can buff the team
Aki is just a really good damage dealer. Esp when buffed. It makes up for what ageis and junpei have over him.
And then ken literally only has his theurgy. I used him once and that was against the reaper. And mever felt the need to use it anywhere else
      So my order is
      1.yukari
      2.aki
      3.mitsuru
      4.ageis
      5.junpei
      6.koromoro
      7.ken

I full heartedly believe Ken is better than Yukari (Reload).
Ken has Higher Dps, higher Defenses and Hp, faster, better healing and both his Support and Theurgies are leagues better. Yukaris only lead is natural cures which are dirt cheap and very common as items.
Ken starts with Kougoan (37) and gets Gae Bolg for easy Light Boost. Just Kougoan already has him doing higher dps because Kougoan has 350 base power compared to Garudynes 220 (lvl 50). Why he actually starts with higher damage than Mitsuru then somewhat keeps up with her until she gets Diamond Dust. (The only time they have higher dps is when they get Amp accessories when Ken is waiting for his and Yukaris damage lead at that point is negligible at best).
Despite Yukaris high MAG she has the worst damage throughout the game with no Boost weapons and Amp comes way too late. (Koro out damages her because Gestui is secretly broken).
Yukaris Supports are pretty bad a Sukunda which lowers accuracy by 30% (the lowest accuracy can go in this game is 50%) and its only at 59 she gets Masukunda.
    her ailments aren’t worth discussing.
Ken has both Karns which protect a members weakness from being hit and protect from some big Phys or Crits damage. Dekaja prevents any enemies from gaining any momentum with Aoe Buffs and they just kinda get shutdown when both of these are at play.
Yukaris Ailment cure lead isn’t even much of an lead due to how common and Dirt cheap Cure Items are. Ken can substitute with that very easily. Ken can Heal pretty much Infinitely because of Spirit Restore and Mediarama is only 16 Sp. Yukaris Cheap Healing isn’t really that special.
    Heres the big one Theurgies.
Kens Theurgy Condition on top of his Sprirt Restore is secretly nuts.
You can manually set his Sp low with Hp accessories to meet his Theurgy condition before battle. And he has many skills that are just barely more than 10 Sp to keep his condition met.
When properly set up Ken can get his Theurgy as soon as every other turn (2 turns) and with loops he can generally keep this up at the deficit of 2 Sp every turn.
I think that can speak for itself
My problem with Yukaris Theurgy is that its way slower then Kens theurgy but also because only two characters even make use of Tranquility all that well being Akihiko and Mitsuru with Aki only wanting it for Theurgy otherwise hes Phys spamming and Mitsuru its only saving her one turn. Ken shouldn’t really be on the team with Yukari and Koro prefers Rhys funnily enough (these two are both support characters). Junpeis Agidyne damage is bad and because of Crit Amp he will always want to go for Hack n Slash.
I Consider Ken to be on lower half of the team usefulness wise.
My phone is slowing way down now so ill stop there.

    • @helpihavebats6392
      @helpihavebats6392 7 месяцев назад +2

With Shinji he actually really falls off hard after his available time. Its mostly due to his Characteristic being really bad and not boosting his damage like Akihikos double effective buffs (1.8x), Junpeis Crit Amp (40% Bonus Crit and 10% Crit chance), and Aigis Phys Amp (1.2x).
The only thing he has is Bloody Charge and thats at best is a 15% boost that takes 40% of his Max Hp every Turn. Dudes going to run low fast.
I hope this was all a fun read!

Something to keep in mind for this is that a lot of the later bosses use Dark damage. Considering how common it is and the fact that dark has a damage elemental attack and an instant kill, I never really wanted to go into a boss fight with either Ken or Koromaru despite them having powerful setups. The risk that they could be instant killed then I’d have to deal with follow-up was a terrifying prospect.

  • @rocardochang600
    @rocardochang600 2 месяца назад

Exactly. Mitsuru has a similar damage output ability with MC for elemental damage seeing that you can bridge the gap with the right equipment and assuming you're not mental and roll the dice for magic mastery. All the ranks I have seen are paying her absolute dust.
Akihiko should be number two, below Yukari and above Mitsuru for the simple reason of he can out-damage MC. His buff amp characteristic boost all of his buff ergo his damage by 40% and pair that with Yukari concentrate theurgy, you can out the damage MC. Assuming you don't have DLC and Armageddon doesn't count, Akihiko wiped the MC.
Aigis deserves a middle spot (#4-#5) seeing that she is the party member you have to worry about the least. Most of her skills are physical so you never really have to worry about SP. She has insta-heal and enduring soul, making her the most dependable party member.
Koromaru is the definition of overrated. People hype it up for debilitate but never mention how a lot of his skills require a lot of SP. His second theurgy is only useful if you have strong physical party member given his strongest physical output is... basic attack.

Koros a secret Phys character. Getsu-ei is only 8% weaker than Brave Blade on Full Moons (slightly less so a couple days before or after). The main reason hes a Phys Character is not actually because of Getsu-ei huge damage but because Crits count for his Condition and it so happens Getsu-ei has really good Crit. He gets this 4 levels after he joins. He also comes with Revolution which adds +15% Crit to all which is genuinely massive with how overtuned Phys is in this game.
On top of all this his survivability is great since his Evasion off the bat is massive and has the 2nd Highest Hp out of everyone (no joke only Aragaki has more Hp than Koro). He should have plenty of Sp to share since hes spamming Getsu-ei

akihiko should be way higher ,ye he lost his support role but with the right equipment that amps and boosts strike attacks, he can hit shadows like a fcking bullet train, even stronger with koros full party charge persona 3 reload is a physical attack focused game, literally rock Yukari jumpei with maskados katana and dragon boots and slash amp accessory and Akihiko with strike boosting equipment, most of the fights become trivial, where the mc doesn't even have to do much

    • @ReversedJrpgs
      @ReversedJrpgs  2 месяца назад

@@marlonzed7373 Notice what you said last there? Why would I want to leave my MC, a mandatory party member, left with nothing to do? Especially when he has access to siegfried?
I Ranked the party members based on how useful they are across the board, so I could see the argument that Aki should be higher than say Ken, cuz Yukari's just a better healer, but not over the others like Shinji and Junpei, cuz they one up him in terms of damage and crit rate respectively.
Overall I like using Aki more than I do Ken so maybe I'd switch those two, but its just that Ken's Theurgy is just too good.

    • @helpihavebats6392

Akis only second to Junpei in overall dps and does the most Magic damage throughout the game (Mitsuru only outdamages his Magic with Diamond Dust and before that averages at 3rd or 2nd lowest Dps in the game). Hes also one of the tankier characters and has many things that help him avoid Ice. Also third Fastest Theurgy behind Ken and Aragaki.
Also Kens Divine Intervention spam clears Yukari anyday. Its nearly impossible to die with Party Walls + Mediarahan and since he gets this in October he has it way before Yuka has Mediarahan herself. Before that Ken heals for about as cheap while offering much better Utility and damage.

  • @NovaKaiser21
    @NovaKaiser21 7 месяцев назад +2

This was an interesting tier list. I kinda discounted Mitsuru as the worst member because of how OP crits are in this game, but you made some good points. Ice getting the guaranteed crit is a huge buff for sure. I think she would be much better if her 2nd theurgy was ice instead of almighty, that way it could benefit from ice boost. I wouldn’t put her at the number 2 spot, but she is def better than I otherwise thought.
I kept Aigis in my party for so long and the results were kinda mid tbh. You can get easy buffs from Fuuka, Junpei, and the MC so she was never that necessary tbh and her phys moves did kinda mid dmg.
I of course always went with Best Girl Yukari. Complete bias here but she is pretty great with how well her theurgy passives/conditions synergizes with her kit overall. Getting natural Wind Amp is a big deal and having Masukunda is a nice plus. If she got Phanta Rhei that would be bonkers. She also has access to some good ailment bows in the early game. I’ve seen people argue that she isn’t that necessary and is just a heal bot or that items could do the same job, but to me the team never felt complete without her.
I think Ken is pretty good too, but I think people kinda overrate his 2nd theurgy. Yes it is a party wide revive+mediarahan but the party wide shields are kinda situational. As you progress in the game, most enemies are not going to be weak to the elements that they cast, so it essentially acts as a free block. I think people see clips of the reaper killing itself on Ken’s theurgy and lose their mind when in reality that is a very special circumstance and not usually what happens.
I think you are underrating Akihiko a little bit with how good his characteristic is. Plus he gets easy access to Elec Boost, Amp and Strike boost.
Overall, I agree with your assessment: you can run pretty much any team and they are all good. I myself kinda like the idea of running Yukari, Koro, and either Akihiko or Junpei. Aki can benefit from both Tranquility and Power howling and Junpei will mostly want to use Hack n Slash, but his concentrated 2nd Theurgy is no joke either.

    • @ReversedJrpgs
      @ReversedJrpgs  7 месяцев назад +1

I just realized that I didn't mention how common it is to get a full party heat riser via Fuukas oracle, just one more reason why Aigis isnt that great anymore.
Yeah Akihiko is great I agree, you could argue that he's better than Ken or even Junpei if you prioritize raw strength. I do think these two have him beat purely cuz I think Ken's 2nd theurgy is op as fk, especially on merciless, and that Junpei's crit rate is insane.
Yuka, Aki, and Koro is a great team combo 👌

  • @vigilantezer0

I mean shinji (of course) aigis and junpei can all 1 tap the reaper with their physical theurgies while being set up with buffs by teammates
So can akihiko with gods hand but the reaper has to be downed by a crit first then akihiko has to be shifted to having shift boost and hit the with a crit on the reaper for 8100+ damage
and Junpei can 1 tap the reaper with his fire theurgy for 9000+ damage if you set him up with teammates which i find insane since he has the worse magic stat out of all party members
Aki can also 1 tap the reaper with his second theurgy but he actually needs the right equipment to do it unlike junpei but honestly thats just against the reaper but they all need to be set up first with heat riser or koro using his rebellion or both
But its crazy that mitsuru with the strongest magic stat cant 1 tap the reaper who has 8000 hp while junpei can hit the reaper with his magic theurgy with 9000+ damage and he has the worst magic stat too

But then again to each their own I think aki is just underrated he can be an op teammates since his buff Amp applys to all buffs that you can give him so if you heat riser him he increases the effects of that heat riser which is crazy in my opinion but I think every part member can be busted if you build them correctly
