Deni is the daughter of American born, Australian music legend Marcia Hines. Marcia came to Australia in the early 70's to perform in a stage musical (Hair i think) and never left. Your loss...definitely our gain.

Deni was born in September, 1970 and has also made a career in music, including her time with the Rockmelons, (you call them cantaloupes.)

I had just started working at an electronic appliance store back then and these 2 guys early 20s, long hair and flannys came in. Very bogan looking. They started looking at a stereo system and one of the experienced sales guys went up to them and asked if they wanted to hear how it sounded and went to the CDs and came back with an AC/DC CD. They shook their heads and went and got the Rockmelons CD and started bopping their heads. Just shows how you can’t judge a book. Oh and they bought the stereo.
