Great video man! I was wondering how these two would compare so your timing is immaculate (what are the odds we publish UwU content on the same day? lol)
At the end of the day you can pay more for an easier setup, better build/cable and future-proofing, but you can play great on both devices and comfort remains 100% subjective :)
P.S: I didn't know you were a fellow black switches enjoyer 🤝 no love for us in the rapid trigger world..
Yoooooooooo
He dad :D
luv ur vids spazza
The guy
Black switches best switches Hell yeah
I've just recently recieved the uwu and I'm using the heavier switches. Streaming feels a lot more comfortable coming from a blackwidow keyboard and my acc is a lot better on aim maps now even though my general acc is 99.3% hitting tripples and bursts is a lot easier and it's literally instant feedback, definately wouldn't miss.
Great video, it would be cool if you could compare the best keyboards on the market right now, like the wooting, drunk deer and other keyboard peripherals.
The thing is, I'd probably prefer the wooting uwu overall, but the fact that i can't purchase it on their website (I don't have any credit cards), and buying it on taobao (im in hk so taobao is the easiest way to buy one other than wooting) costs a total of around 900hkd, while the sayodevice costs only around 130hkd, im not spending that much on a keypad. Of course, experience for different people varies, but this is just my experience and no way im buying the uwu, at least for now
the heavier lekker switches feel so nice on the wooting and sounds much better then the sayu, happy i got it
Very informative. I was just wondering if you could switch the current UwU switches to the current Sayodevice switches. Cause isn't one of the switches heavier than the other? After you switch them, can you test it and see how you perform? Thank you.
I bought the uwu on perorder with the brass bass and it just feels quality. Zero complaints with the product and it delivered on everything they said they would.
wooting is soo good I love it, got it a couple days ago and since then I have gotten 2 new top plays (in the span of 10 minutes)
Got mine today and ngl to me it feels the exact same as a normal kb
@@scooty727do you completely lift your fingers off the key after you tap? If so the difference between a normal kb and the wooting is minimal to none
@@scooty727 its the way you play probably, what rank are you/the sr you play/map type you play changes how much the uwu matters
Where to get it guys ?
אתה משחק 5wc?
my sayodevice came with rapid trigger settings set up
For us that is neighbor to China, it costs 77 usd for wooting UwU (default options) with shipping, and 16 usd for O3C (default options) with shipping price comparison loses already in asia lol
if you are an Asia, there is no way you want to pay for almost half more price with like 30 days of waiting. plus sayodevice here is pretty much can be gotten for almost $20 plus shipping
@@cultureddoggo5606 exactly, I haven't heard anyone that gotten a Wooting UwU instead of O3C here yet fr
I got a sayo device recently and the new firmware is really easy to set up, by that I mean just use what it is already set up as, I did however set one of the key to 0.1 actuation point because one of my finger taps alot lighter than the other one, but yh it works fine on the standard settings.
very bad and biased review
1. First he says the sayo device needs set up
- which it doesnt the default settings are very good (0.25 press, 0.4 release and deadzone) (never updated firmware or downloaded software just out of the box expirience)
2. He says wooting doesnt need set up.
- which it does, you need to go into the software to enable rapid trigger since its not on by default
3. He argues that saydevice having more options and parameters for customization makes it worse than wooting ? LITERALLY HOW HAVING MORE FOR LESS IS BAD
4. Plays not warmed up with one of them. Double taps the entire map. Then later when he is more warmed up plays that with the uwuting and implies to be better because he got better play after he warmed up ? ugh yeah...
5. He never said which switches he used for one and the other ? are they the same or did he use the lekker 60 on the sayodevice and the lekker 45 on the uwuting ? idk
Kinda disappointing comparison showing only 3-4 maps each, atleast do 1-2 sessions per device to give it a proper try, but i guess that's too much effort for content nowadays...
lol yeah his opinion is biased af, especially considering he even says he plays better on non rapid trigger. he basically made his surface level impressions into a vid.
@@mineturte
The reason i say its biased is because he took something subjective and used it for the basis of his evaluation. That being that wooting has more soft materials on purpose to achieve softer tapping feel, while sayodevice doesn't but that's like telling someone that red switches are better than blue and he is like but i like blues... things like that are preference. Some may argue that harder tapping feel on bottom out is better for single tapping since it gives you a faster and more solid response to your actions and for stream tapping you will never bottom out after you learn a proper tapping technique (not the double tap spams he was doing that's not a tapping technique, its a cheese technique) (also there are ways to achieve the same soft tapping feeling on sayodevice)
@@thepuma8558 yeah it is lame but TBF he does basically say the only difference at the end is the feel of the boards (which is what you describe here). My main gripe is that he didn't give each board their own session to play and adapt to.
he got paid for advertising uwuting
if you put a bit of tape on the side of the saydevice switches it creates a tighter fit and will sound a lot better, also feels better to play on because the switches are more solid and not wobbly and causing less vibrations, it kinda sounds more like the wooting uwu after adding the tape as well, i wouldn't say it's the same but definitely a lot better.
You just saved my life, thanks
can you elaborate
@@axirial if you pull out the switch and put a small piece of tape on the side of the switch and put the switch back in like normal, it might take a slight bit more pressure but it just makes it more snug and gets rid of a ton of vibration
@@iianpn3408ok ty, ig i gotta try that when i get my keypad
For the most part I prefer my custom keyboard but I find it easier hitting goofy patterns with wooting kb
Nice video idea but without question uwu is better lol I used Sayo for a while when I was desperate for rapid trigger when I couldn’t afford it but I kept double inputing on low bpm specifically stacked streams. With wooting this literally never happens to me. *BUT* that’s my one and only complaint about the sayodevice. Still a better option than anything else that doesn’t have rapid trigger available
right now i am saving up for a wooting keyboard
Is rapid trigger really worth it to get the wooting uwu instead of a momokai tap trio?
hey, what armrest pad do you use for osu!
When is the drunkdeer video coming out?
6:56 is that my united 😂
The sayo device ++ or whatever is like auto set up so all you have to do it get the software and that’s it
wooting uwu is great and all, but i prefer sayodevice just because of the fact that my old sayodevice had one simple doubleclick problem (that was fixed after with new firmwares) and sayo just shipped me a new one for free, this kind of support that you talk directly to the creator of the product (my case was using discord) is just something too good for the price.
I had the chippest membran keyboard k280e and even after that I would need about a week to normaly play on sayo device. Rapid triggers needs time to be used to it. Not a one stream.
i'd just go for wooting, and remember its mostly beneficial for speed.. and also consider that if you can't fc 6* and up and a lot of different patterns IMO you shouldnt buy a rapid trigger keyboard because you'll fuck up your finger control even more.. i think rapid trigger is very very good if you have monstrous finger control like lets say mrekk.
Not rlly some players with average finger control and really good raw speed get benefit from rappid trigger: like ivaxa he wasnt able to play speed at all and now he streams 330+ or epic gaming
Wrong, rapid trigger helps with everything not just speed, and anyone should get it if they want to. There are no downsides if you use it like a normal person.
Would have asked Tonkaku for the whole review cause she had one too
The plant on your desk looks like Anomaly
i have my sayodevice for roughly 3 weeks and till today im still altering the trigger settings cuz idk tfs going on lol... f around and find out i guess
Springswap the switches to be as heavy as the blacks you're used to
not compatible
red switches on sayo can be spring swapped using kailh box compatible switches, gateron switches have the same springs as cherries, gaterons, kailh (not box) etc. for lekker switches idk what fits
springs needa be non magnetic and a bit wider diameter
yippee!!!!!!!!!
How can you miss the software?!?! Its one of the top reasons the wooting is such a recommended buy
Edit: forgot to say still a great video!
the reason i bought the UwU is the 3 buttons on the bottem
I wish I could be comfortable using keypads, but it's the weight of the pads that always make it uncomfortable for me.
I know my comment is late because this video is old, but there are a few things to clear up about both keypads, as the video lacks a lot of information.
SayoDevice O3C:
- The SayoDevice O3C is actually plug and play. Everything, including the rapid trigger settings, is set up out of the box.
- It does have a software, but you don't actually need to have it unless you want to change what the buttons do.
- It does have even more confusing settings. But if you aren't dumb, you should be able to understand everything.
- The settings are actually far more easier to access than Wooting's software. You could literally just long press the knob and have access to everything without having to open the software.
Wooting UwU:
- It is also plug and play. But since this keypad is for the rapid trigger, it just defeats the purpose of "plug-and-play" concept because you have to toggle rapid trigger in settings.
- It has an even better cable compared to the SayoDevice’s. The cable provided by Wooting is more durable.
- Paying an extra $20 for RGB lighting means you're essentially paying for aesthetics.
- Both keypads have software that allows you to customize them for better use.
- Both keypads are great, but your choice may depend on whether you prioritize value for money (SayoDevice O3C) or premium build quality (Wooting UwU).
right off the bat:
I don't care about RGB, I'd even go as far as saying that I generally dislike RGB
The sayodevice, in my opinion, just looks hideous
The uwu has actual design that someone put some thoughts into
I am far from being a top player and I don't intend to become one - I bought the uwu basically because I wanted to treat myself
would like if bro just showed his settings on the o3c instead of whatever that doc is going on about
ive wanted the wooting uwu forever but im broke 😭
holy fuck i forgot i was watching 1.5x speed. like imagine watching the osu gameplay and thinking where did this skill come from😮
honestly to play osu its so much more worth to buy a keypad than buy a full keyboard
Imo, the comparision isn't really objective, cause u did only one try of each map for both keypads. I think it requires some more attempts to really compare these devices.
Where to buy sayodrvice
I think it doesnt make sense to compare both of them with the same switches, the sayodevice have other switches and when you buy it it wont come with wooting switches
Sayo's come with Gateron KS20s too. (same ppl who makes lekker switches). Though, they are in between weights of L45 and L65 (the teal one)
he is bsically yappin that less settings worth 30 dollars more....
Not really, have you watched the video ?
can u test monsgeek m1 he?
this guys room look like the backrooms
RIP to anyone who had parents nearby at the start of the video
Can't wait to see the video demonetized due to the summer BGs
Hi, what skin do you use?
I never played osu but i really enjoyed this
you should try it someday, you'll get a really fun game in your life ngl
momokai bros... are we worthless now...
sayodevice is so good people have started using it for geometry dash lmao
You should give them to me
i find the points about sayodevice setup funny because boo hoo you have to spend an hour setting it up and then you have to never do it again
yea i got my sayodevice and set it up in 10 mins with the help of google
yea, the whole point is that you're saving money with the sayo. trading an hour of your time for 30 bucks less should not be a problem
Goo goo gaga
owoting
where can i buy a sayodevice they have their own website or smth?
aliexpress
You're slow

United
why is there 3 keys i need 2 wtf
Ring index and you don't ever just want to paint during breaks??
really no point in cheaping out when the wooting is basically endgame for osu for just $30 more (or at least guaranteed to last)
not everyones from a country where $30 is insignificant + shipping varies a lot
Also never support monopolies and thats what wooting try to do
@@obremon2000but big brands also does the rapid trigger now too.
both products are the same with the sayodevice being marginally better, that 30 bucks is getting you nowhere lol
@@masonv9333 yep. biggest issue ive noticed w the o3c(other than "issues" that u can fix in 20 minutes by tweaking with the settings and never worry abt them again) is the key wobble. it's pretty insane, but it doesn't make much of a difference for osu.
do not plugin chinese USB devices into ur pc its pretty dangerous maybe they but some virus on it or spyware
I actually have the sayodevice and tbh I'm happy of the buy but sometimes it double clicks
its an issue with your settings, not the keypad, maybe put your release number up and it should fix the problem
I thinks its pretty sad that nowaday the sayo device is more expensive than the wooting uwu
Acheron is harder than any level in osu
Ayyy early Squad
bro someone in the community made a video on the alpha tech helios keypad which is also rapid trigger and also got me to purchase it BUT WHOEVER POSTED THAT VIDEO TOOK IT DOWN OR SOMETHING I CANT FIND IT!!!!!!!!!
that was sst3w, he took the video down because that company alphatec shutdown/discontinued the keypad
