I found that the best way to clean the bottom of the uwuting (as well as other grip things on the bottom of a device) is by wetting a paper towel and wiping the bottom

@@cayitosh As a disclaimer - I am not an insane keyboard nerd. There are some good reviews for the Wooting and it's sound out there Now to my experience: I like it. I trust the Wooting brand and that the keypad will be good and a quality product, but I don't think $70 is worth it for me for 3 buttons when I already have a keyboard that works fine for osu! The Wooting will only be usable in osu! standard and some other very random stuff. If they made, for example, a numpad with more keys so it will be useful for more things besides osu! standard and maybe it can be used in mania, as a macro pad, etc; I would give buying it more thought and would actually consider it.
I assume this can also do custom curves for analog input? Something like this could be very interesting for (keyboard) Trackmania players. Stupid expensive though.
I've been asking for rapid trigger deadzones since I got the 60HE a year ago, I just got ignored. It's sad to know cheaper keypads now have this feature and more settings to play with.
I would like a bottom deadzone because I sometimes had issues in fps games with 0.15mm RT where the key would release when I wiggle a bit my finger while bottoming out. Idk if you have the same issue but your comment really reminded me of this.
@@retrofizz727 yes, I had this issue too, as well as releasing sliders in osu. But I remember it being way more sensitive in the beginning, on the latest firmwares (after many complaints from people having ghost/multiple inputs) they now force lower sensitivity so it's not much of a problem for me anymore but still, they shouldn't force settings and should provide full customizability. Right now there likely is a really small hardcoded deadzone at the bottom of the key, it's just "hidden" and not customizable. 1 year ago I was able to trigger a keypress by just applying more force when the key was already fully pressed, it's not happening anymore, there definitely were changes to RT.
@@retrofizz727 The sensitivity in the wootility functions as a deadzone though, it's a symmetric up and down deadzone however, instead of the better separate ones that the uwu has.
you can't, the switch has a magnet inside and the keyboard just has a bunch of magnet sensors, unlike a normal mechanical keyboard which will have 2 pins that connect when the key is pressed
