Abandoned 1967 Beetle, Part 2: Clean it out, drag it out

In part 2 of my scrap book of this project, I give a detailed look at this abandoned 1967 Beetle that has been rusting for decades. I get it cleaned out and finally moved from its 32 year resting spot into a nice dry garage.

Good to see a follow up on this. You've got a great project there and I look forward to following your progress. My sister has a 67 too. Oh and by the way the rubber bit in the spark plug tool is to hold the plug in the socket as you remove it to save dropping it.

Definitely a body off restoration. The last 67 I restored was a body off. Took 4 years but its a looker now. Go to car shows a there is always a crowd.
