  • In part 2 of my scrap book of this project, I give a detailed look at this abandoned 1967 Beetle that has been rusting for decades. I get it cleaned out and finally moved from its 32 year resting spot into a nice dry garage.

    Good to see a follow up on this. You've got a great project there and I look forward to following your progress. My sister has a 67 too. Oh and by the way the rubber bit in the spark plug tool is to hold the plug in the socket as you remove it to save dropping it.

    Once you get the dirt oua project like this becomes more attractive. Looks like actual Bugs living in the back ....

    Definitely a body off restoration. The last 67 I restored was a body off. Took 4 years but its a looker now. Go to car shows a there is always a crowd.

    Probably used the tape to make sure the bungee cord length was measured precisely
