    For bugs it almost makes more sense to run:
    - Purifier
    - Grenade Pistol
    - Thermite
    - Stalwart
    - Laser Dog
    - 50k
    - orbital barrage
    You get better versions of what the Halt can do with the purifier and stalwart. (Medium pen, high damage, less stagger but some disruption) The switch in ammo type for the halt takes longer than switching your weapon and the fire rate on both lets you go in to "rock n roll" mode quicker. Plus the laser dog keeps consistent pressure on the swarm so you can reload (especially if you keep it stored until you run low, then drop it)
    The orbital barrage in this case gives you a similar vibe as the motor but more harnessed to a singular area and at a rapid rate. This vaporizes most bug breaches.
    Love the load out suggestion but feel like it could lead to some tight situations ammo wise near the end of longer missions

    I tend to use the torcher, grenade pistol, thermites, jump pack, 500kg, gattling sentry/hmg emplacement, and then the last one varies per mission or what you're feeling. With bots im still learning what to use cuz ive been facing bugs since the start and am finally trying the bots at level 43 xD

    I use the same weapon load-out against bugs, Halt/Grenade Pistol/ Gas Grenades. +2 Grenades perk light armor.
    However, I use the Guard Dog instead of the Jump Pack. Stun rounds immobilize hordes of enemies, helping the Guard Dog headshot enemies much more effectively.

    Think I have to give the halt a go, tried it when I got it and didn't really get along with it seemingly found myself running out of ammo much faster than I do with other pump action shot guns. However, always fun to see people running jump packs though.

      Yeah! Give it a shot, it feels a little ammo hungry at first but after some practice and pairing it with the right strats/support weapons it feels good.

      ​​​​​@@Heretic_tvreturning from trying the halt, it's better than I first gave it credit for. Didn't make use of the stun function all that much, usually better off killing what I'm shooting at but shooting chargers in the butt to lock them down is really handy. Either to kill them myself or giving someone running recoilless/quasar time to reload/engage is handy.
      I did set a keybind to switch between the flechettes and stun shots, not holding R to switch ammo mode felt a lot better.
      Also ended swapping out the mortar turret for a machine gun turret, the short cool down on the machine gun turret helped with making the ammo last longer. I'm bad with mortars and the machine gun feels like I have more control of what it does.
      Fun build/Gun. Probably one of the better shotguns for sure.
      P.S as a side note, turret focused builds are pretty fun, give it a go sometime if you haven't. I've been messing around with machine gun, gatling gun and autocannon/rocket builds with a recoilless. Sometimes 4 turrets if I know teammates will share a bag & 3-slot weapon.
