can you give an example, like suppose if i spend 2000 rupees on petrol and do the payment using the credit card, what will be the total benefit @santosh
18% on 1% approx 20rs for 2000
@@utkarshgupta7148 Bro like for example every bank has a limit of surcharge waiver amount take like (If any bank waiv surcharge maximum 100 in each transaction)
So if you expend 1000 then surcharge waived off 1% = 100 even if you expend 2000 then also Max upto 100 can be waived off.
Also whatever may be the amount of that 1% it is waived off but 18% GST is also applicable on that 1% amount.
So in every fuel card try to check what should be the minimum amount of fuel that you should refill in your vehicle so that ratio becomes like this
( Total cashback given by bank on that amount ) > ( 1% waiv off +18% GST on that 1% )
Then only you will be benefited...

But...... There is too much issue in redeeming those rewards.... SBI should introduce simple terms to redeem. And sbi POS machine is literally not available and I have till date not seen even 1 machine from sbi bank.... most are of Paytm or from ICICI or mostly pine labs.... few have kotak.... but SBI naaa...There is 0 knowledge among BPCL people around the station who don't understand what's a voucher is all about and many owners of station are arrogant and don't agree to redeem.... So unless they figure this out it's difficult to redeem or get benefits....

Reward system very bad.. i have used this card and closed after 11 month. Not recommended for beginners..
Most of the bpcl petrol pump not eligible for rewards. Recommended for persons who leave in cities where petrol pumps are updated with reward redemption facilities etc..

Bro i had called to sbi they told that rupay variant is not available and only Visa available like that and u have already bpcl rupay so we cannot provide octane card to u. But i had applied through executive and he told me that its eligible for me and i done the process and applied but in verification call they told we cannot provide octane bcz u have bpcl rupay like that. Correct me if i am wrong here, but 1% fuel surcharge also attracts 18% GST which is never refunded hence actually cashback will be 6.25% - (1%*18%)= 6.07% to be precise. This is for fuel.

What about IDFC First Power+ as they offer 6.5% with lower annual & joining fees
24 points per 150 spending. 24 points are equal to 6 rupees. Valueback will be 4%.
Additionally you get 6 happy coins by using HP pay app.
You also get 1% fuel surcharge waiver.
Then finally it becomes 6.5% including fuel surcharge
But, with BPCL octane, it is 7.25% including fuel surcharge.
Axis IndianOil LTF card is better than this. No tension as it is LTF and that card comes with RuPay network.

Bharat petroleum outlet pe 500 ka petrol purchase Kiya Bill bangaya 505.9 koi reward point nahin mila.Customer care Bata rahe maine upi interface use Kiya isliye surcharge wapas nahin hoga Aur upi karne se mujhe reward bhi nahin mila.
Customer care executive ka kahana hai card swipe karne se hi benefit milega 13X reward and surcharge return milega.

Sbi has worst reward system, sothat i have closed bpcl and simplyclick both cards. Reward points are of no use , even bpcl closed issuing vouchers in app at last ! So never take sbi cards at all

Actually mere pas 28+ credit cards hai or sabka payment on time hota h, aaj tak koi default payment nhi hui or na hee mene kisi tareeke ka loan liya hai..
But mere pas 2 mail aai h mene just dekhi hai.
Jab mene kisi type ka loan ya default nhi kiya h then mere pas mail aane ka reason nhi smjh pa raha hu mai.
