This is an excellent test on the durability of the Osmo 3 kudos
Very impressive footage form this pint-size camera ...was actually looking for some cold weather testing and this has help in my decision to get one 👍👍
The colours are so vibrant. I actually thought you had colour graded it. The coloured lights in the trees stood out really good. Love these little tours around Montreal👍
Probably HLG.
Nice footage! Wow you guys already have snow! Yet to come here. Looking good in low light!
*Yo Dan. Great looking footage of downtown Montreal with the OSMO Pocket 3. You made me totally homesick for my birth city. I was born and raised in the Greater Montreal Area. I haven't been back since 2010. I'm still rocking my OG OSMO Pocket, and my footage looks great. I think the day and night footage out of the Pocket 3 looks even better. The 1 inch sensor really makes a significant difference. I always have been able to get great looking night time footage with my OG OSMO, but the Pocket 3 looks way better.*
May I ask what gimbal setting you use for your walks?
I live on that street and i wanna buy this camera, so this is the best video to make a choice haha
😂😂
So I've been curious about this camera to use for summer and winter hiking. -10C is a good start, but sometimes i have to get down to -20 or -30C when at the summit, with windchill.
But, in -10C, how did the battery perform??
Should i get extra batteries, and how many?
How would it hold up in snow or rain?
The colours are absolutely stunning and yes i have witnessed temperature that low having lived in Finland.
I've just bought the GoPro 12 but now i wish i had got this😢
And you have a famous Canadian icon in your profile pic!
Could you use your phone outside in -10 ºC ? I was reading that the operating temperatures of iPhone is between 0º and 35º C 🤔
For a first blink a thought that the Thumbnail is a printscreen from a PC game... So full of beautiful colors. Cheers! 😅 ✌️
Is it low light mode?
what mode did you use? was this just straight out the box with everything auto and on normal mode?
everything auto, sharpness turned to -1
Can you mention what your gimbal speed is at?
Slow mode
Nice footage. You didn’t use the night mode at all?
not here. previous night walk video i tried it
very nice image, is that colour graded? btw u had no issues after
not colour graded, straight out of camera and no issues :)
@@thoughtsontravelandlifecool I probably made my mind to buy that toy too :D
because in my country, in winter it is normally -10. That's what I was afraid of.
I’m doing RUclips in Quebec and it’s -15! Love the country tho
Nice! you use the pocket 3?
I'm glad you used 30fps! Better low-light light gathering and more natural motion makes it the framerate of most pro videographers
DJI told me that the camera will function in temperatures below the specified minimum but the battery will discharge faster.
Know for fast or drains?
I had a GoPro and it would say 90% battery and then randomly shut down because of the cold.
@@michaelfrymus GoPro batteries are horrible. You can charge them to 100% one day and then go use them the next and they will be at about 85% without ever having turned on the camera. DJI batteries charge faster and hold their charge when not in use.
Finland is the world #1 happiest people on earth and much colder than Montreal ...
it's not the camera freezing it's the batteries. ;)
true!
oh man, you guys are buried already. Yuck! Not here in Toronto.
check out my recent "montreal snowstorm" video to see it falling down ahah
@@thoughtsontravelandlife watching it now, crazy. So glad we don’t get that much.
Minus 10 is not cold ....Montreal has dry air ... just wear good clothes and it is amazing. Toronto is colder because of the humidity level
I think the iPhone looks better
Haha dump
