I will go there on Thursday! Perfect video for that hihi
Excellent video! I was there few years ago on business did less than 10% of what presented. Got motivated with your video and bought tickets to go! Do you think September is a good month to go? What area do you recommend to stay? Do you recommend to rent a car?
Will finishes up a long food section, then moves into outdoor activities, and the first recommendation is buy more food! 😂😂
All we do is eat here hahahah, it's a problem 😅
Born, raised and still living in Montreal: and loving it. Great job on your vlog! You hit all the right spots maybe add Bota Bota spa (on a boat in the Old Port) and Westmount Greene av. area, Outremont Bernard St. (and the charming park with a small lake and pavilion behind the theater where people dance tango on Sunday nights), Castelnau St. close to Little Italy). Mount St-Bruno is a nice hike too, close to Mount St-Hilaire: try out the new foodie area with a brewery inside Promenades St-Bruno, very nice! Verdun's beach is cool, as is the outdoor dance floor with salsa nights and other music. Enjoy, it's a great city!
Well said Julie!!
Awesome video! Appreciated format, presentation, and personal preferences. It was nice to have second opinion the misses there .. you had many points of interest to explore in one video. Montreal looks like lotsa fun.Thanks.
Great video, Will! I love Montreal, and even being there several times, I learned a lot on your video. I will have to replay it to catch the restaurant listings, but you broke it down in 15 minutes to cover all the things important to most. I love great parks, the BIXI bike system is super, and I love discovering all the various neighborhoods that visitors never see. Yes, Vieux Montreal and Vieux Port are great, but I love Mile End, Verdun, NDG, Plateau de Mont Royal, and the Metro is my favorite in North America, I am an architecture junkie, so Montreal is the "high church" of that. The cuisine is miraculous- from a simple croissant or pastry to poutine to great coffee and wine to exquisite fine cuisine to smoked meats at Schwartz deli, but I love the out of the way, simple spots in the neighborhoods for an ethnic delight. A Polish place is right next to Jamaican jerk chicken or an Arab place. C'est magnifique! I did not know about that Clock Tower Beach, and it looks nice. The Jazz Festival is unreal, as is the Comedy Festival, and all the Light Projections at night. Montreal is everything a city should be, but could use some better weather. On your trips outside the city, the 3 hour trip to QC is worth it, along with a cruise from there to Montmorency Falls and the Saguenay Fjord. I really enjoyed a trip to the Winter Carnival and le Hotel de Glace and it's ice bar - very unique! Great job, and you and your girlfriend make a great couple. Best wishes, and Merci!
Thanks so much Jim!
New subscriber a Montrealer over 56 years ..thanks to your great introduction to our city of Montréal
Good job Will ! Even if i've been living around for 53 years now, you make me discover plenty of nice places.
Montreal Rocks! Thanks for the guide to MTL! 💡
I am from Montreal, but have been back for almost 8 years. I can't wait to check out some of these places!!
Thanks man! It's a great video with great informations!!👍👍
Just visited Montreal a couple weeks ago. Beautiful city! Great video 👏
Thanks for the great video! I've got a cruise scheduled that will end in Montreal in May 2022. I thought about changing the cruise because I wasn't sure there would be enough things to do in Montreal; however, after watching your video I'm definitely going to keep the cruise I have booked. I'm super excited about visiting.
And visit Quebec City too!
Where are you from that you think that about Montreal? Ridic!
I'm just seeing this now, preparing for an upcoming five day trip to Montreal in May. Great information, thanks a lot. I live in Ottawa and have been to Montreal a few times, but have missed so many great things to see and do. I'm going to check out your other vids as well. Cheers!
Honestly the best Montreal tour video.
Amazing video!!! Going to Montreal in June and this is the ultimate guide I needed! Thanks for sharing!!
Great video, thanks. 2 things totally forgotton to do in Montreal, we are doing both of these things when we go to Montreal next week. Jetboating up the Lachine Rapids with Saute Mouton Jetboat Tours, then going to La Ronde for a day of Rollercoasters! Staying at the Bonadventure hotel with the rooftop outdoor Pool.
Amazing representation of the city. I’m moving back to MTL after years of being away and you got me excited
Thanks for the suggestions! Going there for the first time so really appreciated! ❤👏🏻🎉
Hi Will, you forgot to include the MANY other music festivals happening outdoor, Jazzfest, Nuits d'Afrique festival, and oh most importantly, the Sunday tam-tams at Mont-Royal, bring a picnic. Summer time in Montreal is outdoor, we celebrate summer :)
Buddy, that was a really good vlog! I am going to visit Montreal late September / early October and look forward to visiting several of the place that you have recommended. Thank you!
We’ll done! Representing the city in a marvellous way.
Montreal is well represented by this guy!…thank you Wil!…awesome vlog….😊😊😊

Been living in Montreal for 15 years. Absolutely love the atmosphere here.
I am in Montreal right now. Tomorrow morning I’m trying to navigate around the city and it’s extremely difficult. Any advice? I am horrible with French. And the roads seem very difficult to understand. Is there any places I can park for free?
Very informative I’ll be headed to Montreal this weekend, so hopefully I’ll be able to check out a few of these spots
probably best travel guide on Montreal I have seen so far ! merci beaucoup
Festival de Jazz is the biggest Jazz and Blues festival in the world. And Just for Laugh festival too, great comedians from all over the world.
Arguably the best video on Montreal. You've really done an awesome job at showcasing this great city which I am hoping to visit someday soon. Maybe you could do a video on places to stay and coolest places to live. Thanks in advance and keep it up.👍🇬🇾
Great Vid! I lived there for 25 years. I feel you video is perfect for tourists.
Fabulous video Will. Thank you so much for saving me a lot of time, I really appreciate it. My friend and I are going in a week and this is very helpful.
Amazed your channel doesn't have more subs. It's coming. Great video as always, and I appreciate that you give multiple options in each category.
Hopefully soon my friend! Thanks so much 🙌🏻
Thanks. I took some notes. I look forward to visiting in 2 weeks!

Awesome video truly appreciate all the key places to visit, eatery, entertainment. ❤🇺🇲
Wonderful and beautiful video my friend..thanks for sharing 🌹🌹👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🌹🌹🌹🌹
Hey Will, you captured the city well! Makes me miss Montréal. I didn't appreciate what an awesome city I used to live in. Montréal: une belle ville au goût impéccable! Now I live in the Okanagan Valley in BC now, which is also nice, and no more 8 month winters with a short, hot humid summers. But I still miss Montréal. Made me homesick watching this video.
Same here, living in Germany now
Awesome bro loved it❤🍻
Really great videos! You have class, Will!
Visiting Montreal in July..going to use your excellent vlog as an anchor in my trip planning
Great video! Would've appreciated some subtitles for the names of the places mentioned since some of us don't speak French.
RUclips has subtitles . Press the CC icon
@@jamestimbol316 Wow thank you but you must have not click on it to see how wrong the transcription is
dude how do you think street names are translated plus if he did then you wont know the street name, simple
@@tonyhuang431 Google translate
as somebody who speaks french, you don't translate nouns
Good suggestions. Don't forget the beautiful botanical garden!
I agree that the Banquise is over hyped… it is alright Poutine, but always packed.
In the Parks, I would also add Park Jarry (you can even watch free tennis early in the week during the Omnium Banque National), and Maisonneuve (it also has the bonus of being next to the Olympic park).
In the things to do outside of the city, much closer, I would suggest Going to Chambly / Fort Chambly (even more so for any one that like History) - Since you need food, in Chambly I could recommend the Tre Colori Restaurant, or right by the Fort, Fourquet Fourchette; if you have your bike, it’s also a very nice ride by the river and the locks.
Lastly, for hikes, if you don’t want to go as far as st-hilaire, there’s also Mont-Saint-Bruno Park.
Well said. I thought about adding Jarry Park but I haven't been enough to fully recommend it. All good suggestions in my opinion, Sacha!
Here now from Texas and using this guide.
Schwartz's Deli is a MUST for anyone traveling to Montreal.
Thanks for the great list. After 10 years of living in Montreal, I still haven't visited some of the places you mentioned. However, I'm still hurt by your comment about La Banquise, my favourite Poutine place.
I moved to Ontario. Watched you video, now I am homesick!
Beautiful city of Montreal Canada 🇨🇦
Beautiful Upload friend. keep it up. Thank you for sharing this to us. Greetings from Korea
your prononciation of french words is so good!!
So many memories. It's already been 9 years since I was in Montreal.🥺 But great how do I travel Montreal video with a lot of interesting places and locations. And a lot of food. Makes me hungry right away.😅 Thanks for this and keep up the good work!
It's basically a kingdom of good food and then finding great places to eat that food. Crazy lol. Thanks Volker!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful video.New subscriber from IRAN❤😉🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷
Always lived here but so much more to discover and places to go. Btw cycling along Canal Lachine is awesome
Local Montrealer here, giving a huge authentic certification for this vid. Biggest tourist tip, do not book a hotel in old port/old Montreal. Montreal is about the local neighborhoods not the downtown core or old city. If you book in old Montreal in can be a bit of pain in the butt to get to other parts of the city
Thanks Tim!
I watched you on the DownieLive train journey. Now I've decided to watch your videos, but I actually just searched Montréal and this video was the 1st one suggested.
First time here.. Love ur channel .. ❤️ and did subscribe.. Blessings from Orlando Fla. USA
So informative- thanks !
Great video!!! You should do a video of Toronto! Lots. of great places as well
Great video about my town. Subscribed.
Love it!
You know your subject well! Thanks ❤
Just for laughs is also amazing during the Summer
I grew up in Montreal, and your video is spot on, I left 16 years ago and move to the US, not that many cities come close to what Montreal has to offer, the only draw back is winter lasts 6 months!
Thank you my friend!
Awesome! Montreal is on my bucket list.
It's awesome!!
New subscriber here, love your content, made me love Montréal more.
Thank you I might just check out some of the places you mentioned.
Great brief of this lovely and amazing city, Sprouht.
Thanks Jorge! My name is William 😁
@@Sprouht, William, like Shatner...? ;-)
This is one of the best Montreal reviews I've seen on RUclips, and what makes yours stand out is that you didn't fall into the usual trap of featuring what everyone features. For example, La Banquise: good on you for not falling into that trap, and for selecting the Orange Julep. Also, you featured my favourite restaurant: l'Express. Well done, sir.
Will this is a Great video full of useful info and tips. Thank you so much 😊👍🏻will visit your city soon
Thanks so much man!
Best video to address Montreal! Thanks man!!
Thanks Erick!
Beautiful Montreal city 👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💗💗💗💗

You should mention The Green Spot in Lionel-Groulx Its a 70's diner resto, that really is a hidden gem~!
I spent a year and a half in Montreal and I found the weather fine from April to Late November. So more like 8 and 4 not 4 and 8 but with that said Christmas is amazing in Montreal.
v helpful! thanks man!
Its nice video and a lot of information Thanks man.
Man I miss MTL, was a special city! Me thinks Phnom Penh needs a definitive guide like this!

Amazing video! Wow!
would've been nice to have names listed on the screen or description box
Love this video thank you for all the recommendations! Would you also recommend where is the best area to stay for first time visitors?
Looks like a beautiful city to visit. Very European is right. I have been to Austria and Germany (as I have family and friend there) more times then I can count on both hands, so I can relate to European culture. Thanks for showing us your hometown. Great video Will. Cheers
Totally. The architecture over there is outstanding, and there are a lot of similarities! Thanks Bill.
Solid video. Keep up the good work. real talk
Thanks very much!
