Despite all of our technological advances and scientific progress, the manner in which the Medieval people experienced natural disasters, is exactly identical to how we experience them today. We think we’ve come so far. On the contrary, we have built a civilization and society which is so dependent upon our technology, that we have left ourselves more vulnerable to natural disasters than ever before in the history of man.

This is the purest form of clickbait.

Open up your Heart to me
Open the door and you shall see
All that was and ever shall be
Where the dark was the light is free
Free to shine upon the dark
As water flows beneath the Ark
The Ark shall rise within your Heart
And the light shall flow and break apart
    Break apart the very sunder
Your Heart beholds and starts to wonder
From where does come all my dark thunder
Read the Book of Mirdad by Beloved Narunder
And you shall be enlightened my child
Where you were tame you shall become wild
And where you were wild you shall become mild
Those that may try will not get you reiled
The Love within will take of their power
And your light will expand with every hour
All will taste sweet which once tasted sour
Your Heart will Blossom and your soul will flower
So give it read or listen my friend
Follow the teachings and your life will not end
From the Ark your will will bend

To cap it all the thumbnail is an 18th century cartoon depicting King George III being farted on by John Bull. Try harder next time old chap.

@@dr.floridaman4805 Hmm, I think that he didn't really believe that but he had the army and the navy on his side which granted him real temporal power.

The worst period to live on earth was when the volcano eruption caused a winter and spread of numerous diseases. Poor people who learning history can see that things like viruses or natural disasters happens also today

When did the dark ages become the Middle Ages?

    • @OdeInWessex
      @OdeInWessex 3 месяца назад +2

Same thing, historians dislike the term 'Dark Ages' and who can blame them. If you spent all your time studying the period you wouldn't want a péjorative term like the 'Dark Ages' used. 'Middle Ages' is less judgmental, more factual. The Modern period started with the Tudor Dynasty (early Modern) in the UK, not sure when it happened elsewhere.
