Romanticism, Avant-garde, rock, jazz, neo-baroque, neo-classical. Cette BO est un bijou. This work is a true treasure, I only discovered it today, and it makes my whole whorth to be lived. I wouldn't knwow what to do without Williams, and without music.
Well your 'half' right my friend...I've seen a lot worse for sure. Sure it isn't very 'politically correct' by todays standards, (what films of this era and genre were ?) but its stunning set-pieces, memorab'le quotes aplenty and breathtaking scenery alone make this film exceprionally 'entertaining' with a capital 'E'....still, (and the quality of the score remind me of Michel Legrand at his very best...elements of the score for 'The Go-Between' and Barry's score to 'Deadfall' come to mind. Still, I respect your opinion mon ami !

Williams mixes so much different styles, but not only. He can makes us feel a lot of different emotions at the same time.

Gönül Yazar'ın Altın Kafes 1982 filminde vardı, Ferdi Tayfur ve Orhan Gencebay'ın filmlerinde de denk gelmiştim.
