- It’s a situation we all dread when getting behind the wheel: your car suddenly dying on you. “Back in May, I was driving. Just going along and had no warning. All of a sudden my car loses power,” Columbia resident Joey Cunningham said.
They should have led with “salvage title” of course it has no warranty!!! Can’t believe this made the news
Kia vehicle are beautiful but they are Trash. They also lie about their warranty
Well…. Hes wrong. This is his fault. Savage titles don’t have manufacture warranty. If you buy a “savage” you know the risk you get into…. And Buying from a “buy here pay here” its your first big red flag.

Kia is a lemon dealer car manufacturer. So they lie on all their warranty
I agree with KIA on this. Car has a salvage title. That alone usually voids most warranties
What about the lives they put at risk? Shouldn't they be responsible and take accountability for their failures?

@@Jerbear60 salvage/rebuilt…. Car was in an accident and repaired. that will end up warranty with any manufacturer pretty much… he knew what he was getting into when buying “savage” tittle. Its his fault.

The Jerks wouldn’t accommodate me with a loaner to get the update done with a one vehicle household at the time. The car is finally over half paid and now I just have to suck it up and have no car!
NOBODY SAID THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN BUT THEY KNEW IT WAS A POTENTIAL ISSUE WHEN I BOUGHT MY CAR.

I don't blame well-meaning folks who dare not touch any Kia or Hyundai vehicle.
THEY DENIED ME JUST LAST WEEK AFTER MAKING ME WAIT 3 WEEKS FOR A DIAGNOSTIC WHEN THEY ALREADY KNEW I WAS GOING TO GET DENIED BASED IN A REBUILT TITLE, DO NOT LET KIA FOOL YOU TO " BRING YOUR CAR IN FOR A DIAGNOSTIC" IF YOU HAVE A REBUILT TITLE *THEY WILL DENY YOU*
I hate Kia I’m going through this right now
keep your oil full and this will usually prevent the engine from blowing up....these vehicles burn 1 quart every 1,000 miles on avg....

My son is in the same situation right now- any update on this situation with him? Only 66000 miles preowned bought from a dealer bit not a Kia dealer . Got same response. Didn’t know there was a PI on the car. So wrong !
Going threw now but I bought brand new and never received a letter
💯 I am having the same problem. My car only has 87,500 miles on it and I have all my recipes for my oil change every 3,000 miles even taken it to kia once a year to have them inspect it and a few days ago it broke down and I had it tow to kia only for them to call me back and tell me I need a new motor and it will cost me 8,000 and I still owe 10,000 on it. Kia stinks I will never buy a kia again. I also am now paying on a broken car that I can't afford to fix 😢
I’m having the same issue and Kia is doing nothing about it.
Ignorance to the warranty doesn’t mean Kia needs to pay for it. Read and understand your warranty before you buy a car.
