    Soo refreshing to see a Dramatic style with a warm and softer color palette instead of black, white and red. I've been thirsting for this. All body types come in every skin tone imaginable and it's nice to see a little bit variation in color of the clothes. Now, back to watching. This is gold. I wish there was more content like this.

    I hope you'll do it for "typical" styles of the other IDs, too. Like 50ies/Pinup=R, French Chic=C, Business=D, Girly=G. Or maybe something on how to look authoritative/formidable as a non-D; chic, elegant and expensive as a non-C; fun, youthful and vibrant as a non-G, easy-going, approachable and effortless as a non-N, womanly, sexy and sensual as a non-R/TR/SD... I'm an SD with a natural ethereal essence, and I LOVE dressing boho. I've found that wearing jewel tones (regal element), quality jewelry with gemstones, lace, hairscarves, textured fabrics like velvet or hemp, with a more monochrome outfit really pulls it together for me. I try to keep layering to a minimum, typically opting for pops of a lace bralette, a textured kimono, a scarf or jewelry, nothing to break my vertical line. Short playsuits with a pretty ornate pattern or ruching worn with strappy sandals, a bold hat and a necklace is also one of my favorite combos for summer!!
    I think I'd describe my style as the dark witchy subset of bohemian style, rather than the well known beachy Coachella boho vibe, but it works soooo well, year round!!! My natural essence does allow me to get away with looking slightly more undone than many SD's, but really, any image ID can pull off any style with the right tweaks.

    • @elyssa_aesthetic
      @elyssa_aesthetic  5 лет назад +14

      Liz Smith absolutely. In the meantime just know that the overall recommendation for Romantic necklines is to keep things rounded. So weather you’re wearing a turtle neck or a deep V the aim is to keep things gentle and contoured to your curves. The necklines that I don’t think would look best is boat, square and mandarin. But the neckline is just one element that makes up an entire ensemble so you’d have to consider the totality of the yin/yang and how it’s accommodating you.

    I really don't think the first dramatic look is anything near boho. Dramatic look good in slightly oversized things, so for example a loose-ish straight slip dress (like Liya Kibede wears at one moment in Merriam's video about her) in a 'boho' fabric like linen, might be a better look. The dramatic looks just look...Dramatic in earth colours to me. And dramatics prefer quite the opposite, bolder colours.

Almost all short skirts or even shorts that aren’t “biker shorts” my whole life lift up too high in the back because of my curves. I know I’m not wide enough for SN and I’m too yang in the shoulders for the R’s. I feel everything SG except for the short skirts and shorts.

      @@elyssa_aesthetic I watched. I'm still confused. I am also having a hard time assessing myself. ..like I'm a curvy bombshell but maybe that's not the case.

      @@Mina-sr1jt I had to watch a few Kibbe vids to figure it out. The way I get it, it’s first and foremost about your skeleton and height, then how the flesh is. Last, the yin and yang is about how many sharp and taut vs soft, features you have on your face and shoulders.

    Can you guys genuinely stop saying the word Bohemian? It was a slur used for Romani people during slave trade, and It is literally so disrespectful and disgusting that you choose to use it as a descriptor for an aesthetic. Thanks.

    If you say in title all body types, than you should put all image IDs, not even mentioning FG, when talking about G and SG. If you talk about SG you should include all 13 body types

      Joga bez granic Anna Dąbrowska point taken and the title has been changed. The purpose of this video was to show that boho is not exclusive to FN and how any style can be adapted to any of the types. As mentioned in another comment I did highlight SG because I am a SG and wanted to include some pieces that I gravitated towards. Perhaps this was a bad call and unfair to SD, DC, FG to not include them but my intent wasn’t to mislead anyone or upset anyone. My focus was to highlight the idea that you can marry boho elements with your lines to create an overall harmonious boho look. Ultimately I was trying to keep my video from getting too long so I made the judgment call to not include these sub types. Moving forward I intend to continue with my normal format of focusing on each group and sub type.

      @@elyssa_aesthetic I understand and I'm glad you've changed the title, this way other FGs, like me, won't be desapointed. I hope you would record another part of this video, including the missing types, because I really like your ideas!

    I hate this style - as a natural. I wish other styles were recommended to us
