I'm a 24 yr. old soft classic and while I still feel like too much of an awkward child to be particularly elegant, I admire women who are in a rather old fashioned way. I adore paintings of late Victorian/Edwardian ladies in elegant gowns, dressed in satin with pearls and ribbon chokers. The simple, chic looks you see on Glossier and Reformation models are also really appealing to me. I only really dress up for work and church though and wear my same jeans and t-shirts from high school the rest of the time.
This is an eye-opener... now I understand why everytime I look in the mirror before getting out the door I end up removing any accessories that (really I love but) are too girly/sweet. I always feel they don't go together with me, I absolutely don't feel confident wearing them. For me it's all about structure, clean sharp lines, geometry, muted or darker colours, rich fabrics, leather and metal accents. I'm a dramatic with a good amount of girly items in my closet which I long to wear but I'm never really able to.

I’d love a dedicated video! I always feel like their aren’t many examples given to romantics (not theatrical romantics, just pure romantics) on how to dress in modern day. I love marylin monroe but I need some current examples of things to look for that compliment me well. Seems like clothes are not made with my body type in mind at all 🥺 everything is so straight, long, or stiff
Nicole Smith oh I get it!! It drives me nuts that the impression is that romantics have to dress like MM. This is so far from the truth and there’s so many amazing options out there for R’s. I plan on addressing this in a video for sure!
Elyssa I actually don’t mind the fact that our recommendations are super “sexy” or “feminine” as I totally feel very natural and confident in those styles and also get the most compliments when I stay true to that vibe... it’s just that the only examples ever given are old Hollywood (which I love) but is unhelpful when shopping in modern day stores. 😂 just like a soft dramatic is going to have a harder time finding shoulder emphasis due to the lack of shoulder pads in stores today and need a modern day work around, romantics need that too due to the fact that many shops don’t make things for petit curve dominate body types. Most clothes today are unstructured and/or long as if the ONLY women that need to wear clothes are flamboyant naturals 🙃
Orseund Iris & Sororite Vintage are great examples of modern romanticism where you can get inspiration from. Also I noticed that outside of America, for example, Japan & Korea their clothes tend to be more romantic and modern rather than sexy
Nicole Smith YEEESSSS!!! This is absolutely why I’ve been trying to make dedicated videos showing normal, everyday clothes that you can purchase today is desired. Red carpet and old Hollywood examples are fun to look at but don’t really give us a clear idea when stepping into our local Target or Macy’s.
Hi elyssa! What I find so interesting about the kibbe series is that we really have no idea wha goes on in another persons head or what it “feels like to be them”… as a classic I had no idea until I came across your video that there are people who struggle to look more formal. I simply never thought about and apparently took it for granted. I was always envious of the gamine spunk and expressiveness - something I will never have. What a great learning experience for us all!
What you said about fighting your essence really resonated with me... my partner learned about Kibbe with me a while back and he could tell my essence straight away, I was resisting it. I too wanted to be seen as elegant, when my authentic self is bubbly, sugar n spice, spunky (like you). I tried it, but even with having studied the archetype I wanted, it fell flat on me. I'm embracing my real ID now and I feel more real, and less like I'm playing a character. (Still would love a consultation when you're open again!!)
I’m a flamboyant natural and have been described as “cute and quirky”, my #1 compliment I get is that I’m cute and adorable. I like punk and alternative styles, but also cute styles. It’s interesting trying to balance punk with flamboyant natural and also cuteness
Because of the description of the dramatics that most people have on youtube people seem to dislake them or consider beeing a type of dramatic. They are discribed as masculine, not delicate and so one. But in fact there bones ar long but they are narrow so that is a delicate trade, they are very regal looking and in my opinion they look incredibal with long hair(at list half of back lenght and longer). They have an magnetic regal aura. And you can truly feel that majestic auro in all of the dramatics, and it has a very strong influence in dramatic clasic, even in the flamboyant gamines I think it has somewhat of an influence. In my opinion tou have the best description of the dramatics, very diffrent to what most people have online, but it also captures there essence more
I'm a gamine body type and I'm the total opposite of the gamine "essence". I feel like the dramatic or classic essence fits my personality best. I tend to have an almost intimidating aura to me and people always seem to listen. I'm very pragmatic and emotionally reserved. I really do not fit the gamine stereotype at all.
I am a soft classic and although I appreciate a streetwear style, I always feel drawn to more modest aspect of it and I add more 'classic' elements to every outfit. After watching this video, I believe that it might be cause by my natural essance, which is a very intresting fenomenon.
Oooh this is why I get told I have a graceful and elegant, (and my mom has always told me) regal aura. I'm naturally warm and friendly but people usually think I'm hard to approach, so I'll put myself out there anyway, and then people won't even know why they hesitated to make the first move to get to know me. Additionally, I do value logic, balance, and practicality and I'm a soft/pure natural (I believe), so I know the regal essence with it's extravagance wouldn't necessarily suit my tastes or my body type so much. In contrast, I do love minimalist, chic, and especially modest styles, as I've seen they not only suit me best, but they also stay true to my personality; I belive the more graceful and elegant essences can really shine through in them as well. Anyway, since discovering the kibbe body type system, I stumbled upon your channel and absolutely love how organized and eloquent you are with your videos. I never thought fashion can be this fun, and I can't wait to slowly build a wardrobe that actually does the real me justice, for satisfaction of my aesthetic, essence and characteristic needs.
I am all over the place...I am dramatic (not body type wise lol), I am awkward and shy in public, I have some perfectionistic tendencies, I always wanted to come off as either regal or feminine but I probably just come off as awkward and weird lol
Another extremely well-articulated video, I feel I have learned so much by watching just a few pieces of your content. I would also like to perhaps slightly challenge when you mention that you don't feel you can ever exude a graceful aura/essence? That shocked me, as this is exactly what I perceived of your nature by watching your videos, listening to your voice and watching your head and hand movements especially. To me you come across as very refined, and with a natural, slightly 'softened' grace - as though this is your natural state and not something into which you need to put much effort (unlike somebody who would be described as 'putting on graces and airs'). You have a very calming presence about you, and I would have assumed you were a dancer in a very classic or traditional style like ballet or ballroom - and/or that you participate in other areas of 'art culture' like gallery curation, literature or something else. Xx
OMG I personally am a soft classic and I absolutely hate a lot of "fast fashion" and trendy things. Some of my friends always tried to make me look like a fashionnova model and couldn't understand why I hated those looks. Lol
I relate with grunge aesthetic so much. Right from childhood i have been given used clothes by my mom from brother and cousins. Bcz new clothes would go to waste when i grow up. I also started liking looser fitted, boyish clothes on me bcz they were comfortable n looked great on me as well. And now I naturally like to buy these clothes if i ever need it.
I definitely struggle with this. I'm a soft classic with baby face and I always feel like things look wrong on me, so I stick to wearing all black leggings shirts and cardigans lol
I just realized that I'm actually a Flamboyant Gamine. For real this time. I guess I was so confused because I could relate to the soft dramatic essence, flamboyant natural essence, dramatic classic essence, theatrical romantic essence as well as flamboyant gamine. In any case, I knew my body was definitely on the yang side.
I worked at a bar years ago, and it was dead for hours. I decided to sit down and paint my nails . I was lost in my own world, and when I finished an looked up, my 1 customer was there sitting there, waiting for a new beer. I walked up to him, appologising profusely for ignoring him, and he just smiled and said "that right there is your most accurate, genuine nature!" I wasn't sure if I should be offended, but he didn't say it in a mean way. People often point out these things about me that they say most represents me, and I'm like "should I be offended by this?" LOL
I have a hard time perceiving myself! Everyone always says they were intimidated by me at first but once they know me I am very bubbly, fun and nice. I never understood why I come off as intimidating as I don’t think of myself this way.
I really liked how you explained the aesthetic because I fit on the “classic” (more towards dramatic classic ) body type and I love wearing patterns but it states it makes too much sound for my body type...
This is incredible. I have a lot of internalized hatred for being extremely yin because when i grew up the beauty ideal was skinny jeans emo girls and all of that. Everything sporty and futuristic feels really off naturally for me as a romantic....
Valid point..I cant tell if I am a soft gamine or soft natural. ...I naturally am drawn to ethereal and soft bohemian styles...im a taurean rising (and a pisces sun)
Chantel Wensley I don’t know either, the styles that I like look awkward or bad on me (not sure if it’s body dysmorphia but I don’t like how I look in most things). I have a Cancer rising.
@@시린-d4i I agree. Definitely dont feel like k can look good in anything. I wonder if you are a romantic !?-- a cancer rising would give you a soft feminine quality, with curves!
love your explanation!! I’m a soft classic and I totally relate to what was said of my essence, and I really like looking sophisticated but still looking sexy which I feel like is something that people also notice about me so I try to incorporate that into my style too.
Even after watching Aly Art and Merriam Style, I still have no idea. I think I’m a flamboyant natural but I am definitely not approachable. I’ve been told that I’m intimidating but at the same time, very sensual and sexual even though I’m not ever trying to be. Does that make me soft dramatic? Someone likened me to Sophia Loren but I’ve read Kibbe’s work and my flesh doesn’t gather where it’s supposed to...I keep most of my weight up top-big chest and fleshy arms. I’m all mixed up.
Melissa Boyce Melissa Boyce so try to think of these traits on a spectrum rather than try to type yourself based on them. Ultimately, your Kibbe type is based on the lines and shapes that look best on you. Getting to know your essence is what will help you embrace your bold sensual nature. Now it is possible that you’ve mistyped yourself and are SD rather than FN.....but don’t let some of these essence descriptions get you twisted around if you’ve concluded that FN are the ones that be compliment your frame and shape. It’s also worth mentioning that SD can have the T silhouette that you describe having yourself. Keep in mind that not all SD (or any archetype for that matter) will necessarily look like the celebrity examples. We see varying physical traits even with the celebrity examples. I’d also like to address the difference between FN and SD. FN will have *little to no curve* to accommodate and will need to accommodate their vertical line. SD *will* have curve to accommodate and will also accommodate their vertical line.
Wow. I know it's a generalization, but I'm a Theatrical Romantic and my essence description seems to have collected most phrases I ever considered as best compliments. It's like... I always felt that way, always wanted to be that way and that's how I'm often being perceived by others👍
Wow!! This is my first time learning of this concept and I stumbled upon your video by accident. Thank you so much for creating this! I look forward to honing in on my style more and cutting down my closet!
I enjoyed your articulated and coherent explanation. I found it easy to follow. I also appreciate the quality of the audio and video - those really make or break the viewing experience. Therefore I subscribed :) I took the kibbe test a while ago and have come to the conclusion that I am either a classic or a soft classic. I don't know if I see myself in the essence associated with my type though.. at least not a 100% . I'm looking forward to learning more about this and watching your videos! Thank you!
I’m so glad I’ve found this channel. I remember researching kibbe body types two years ago, and not finding any content that I liked and went into depth. You explain everything so well! I just had to smash that SUBSCRIBE and LIKE button!
Interesting you wanted to be seen as elegant/sophisticated, I am a theatrical romantic who has always been told I look very elegant, but I love street style and would love to be seen as spunky. Can’t win haha
I'm soft dramatic and I've loved streetwear for years. I skate and I'm a sneakerhead so I've been trying to force the tomboy look for a while now. I know it hides my figure but I feel so bad ass in it! I get wayy more compliments when I dress for my shape though. Inherently I'm elegant, classy, feminine and 'sexy'.
simply.s YEEESSSSS!!!! And there’s still little ways for you to add in that tomboy flare without completely folding on accommodating your lines and shapes! It’s all about honoring yourself and bringing balance! ✨
@@elyssa_aesthetic I still haven't figured out how to dress streetwear for an hourglass figure yet! looks amazing on slender women like aleali may and aaliyah
I have been watching your videos one after another for the past hr or so and I just had to say how wonderful they are! So informative and your voice, diction and articulation is brilliant. Thank you for doing these videos. I feel as though I have a whole new perspective on personal style (which is pretty amazing considering I'm 65 - have been dressing myself for many years obviously - and I love style - I sew my own clothes) I'm tall (5'8") which would incline one (me incl) to see me as a natural or classic but my soft tissue defies that (I'm not overweight but my bust is 36FF while my legs are very long) I believe I'm more Yin than Yang (which is also reflected in my essence) and my reflection has led me to ponder (with some chagrin) that I haven't been dressing myself the best I could be.
i would say my body type checks most of the boxes for dramatic classic. However, my essence fits the description for soft dramatic. People's description of me would be elegant, sophisticated. I would even get told that I walked sophisticatedly or I walked like a feather and I carried myself like a princess. Althought I feel very confident that my body is dramatic classic, I dont think it's essence suites me as I have also been described as very feminine, delicate, and innocent. I feel flattered by the descriptions but I lokve experimenting and I am slightly dissapointed to realize that's why I would get told I looked sloppy or ridiculous whenever I would branch to baggy, edgy, quirky looks.
I am so happy you are back with a new video 😊 and I am so excited about this topic🤗 I hope you will do a series for each archetype essence . love your videos💜💕
I put together Dramatic style with Natural ...that is my types of clothing but i am a flamboyant gamine..with dramatic face and more natural body. My essence is i have my “ballet” look on or my boho style on...never overdo flowiness always tight clothing with loose or tight pants and top under a kimono style or loose long cardican.
Just found you and this is really interesting. No idea what I am . It struck a chord when you said you wanted to be elegant but it never worked. I'm always drawn to the boho hippy chick look but end up being a kind of smarter version of it x
EXCELLENT video. Very informative. I was taking notes like crazy. I’ve definitely been told I look sophisticated and poised. I am a Classic, so the essence makes sense. But I love beatnik style and/or dressing like a scholarly art historian. But I now see I can be a Classic and still have my own aesthetic. Whoopie!!!!
So, i am soft dramatic but my personality is quite different from that essense. Due to my personality, if i try to dress sexy i still come accross as cute or classy. People say i often look very graceful too, perhaps due to me growing up doing ballet. Whilst i realise that soft dramatic style makes me look amazing I am not sure it always fits my personality
Oh wow! I was feeling very skeptical as I am definitely a romantic, but haven't really felt that drawn to the way romantic style is depicted and expected that the romantic essence wouldn't really resonate with me either. But it definitely did! My type feels a little more authentic to me now.
I definitely have a classic essence, I was always described as “posh” by my friends despite being very middle class lol. Always wished I had more of a natural essence though, as I’m young (19) it feels hard to dress sophisticated when I’m only a teen
Great video and great point regard the subject! Would love some more content on this topic, I've kind of been missing it on other Kibbe related channels :) Looking forward to furure videos :)
I'm a Kibbe romantic. But I have a reserve and intimidating essence and not in sensual or sexy way. So my overall look needs to be soft, slightly masculine, with a hint of sharpness.
BurstAngel absolutely! Does any of your sharpness show up in your frame at all? If so you could be a TR. Either way you totally get how to express essence in your wardrobe! Not every romantic is going to have the same exact essence so this is where the details need to play their role! If you ever show off your looks tag me on Instagram! I’d love to see!
@@elyssa_aesthetic I'm closer to a soft classic so if I have any sharpness to my frame it will be too blended to really be noticed. As long as I keep a fitted waist I can pull most looks. My real fight is my breasts. They are too big so my small and delicate face gets lost and forgotten which is why I think I wear colorful or dramatic makeup in order to draw attention to my face. And all the romantic recommendations are awful for me because of my reserve nature. Spaghetti straps and a hint of cleavage becomes too much cleavage real quick.
I’m the same as you BurstAngel. I’m 5’ and Romantic body type with a reserved, coming off as intimidating (because I’m often quietly observing people), and I am like one of those people, where not a lot of people ‘know’ me and I kind of like keeping it that way. I guess that’s my mysterious side. I’ve come to learn that I think I can achieve my essence in dressing with fabric choices like satin and si oft knits and making sure they fit my frame perfectly. I have really surprised myself in the colour department too. I am a winter (used to think bright winter, but I’m a deep winter), and used to wear a lot of black and white colour schemes and bright block colour. I’ve discovered lilacs and pinks; even in winter and I’m obsessed.
@@andreaguidera1560 I've come to the conclusion that I want my clothes to be like armor. Beautiful flamboyant armor. Its weird. I've also had to rethink my essence too. I found that I have small but sharp shoulders which may be throwing off my observations about my bodytype. I'm playing around with Truth is Beauty ideas. I keep getting 60% yin and 30% yang with a possibility of have a gamine undercurrent. So I'm off exploring gamine clothes and puffy sleeves!
When i was younger i was asking for a SG essence. It was so of on me... Not because i am not playful because i am pure TR. I have this kind of spiciness!
Thank you. So is this video saying for example if someone is drawn to boho for themselves there can be a Dramatic boho or a Romantoc boho or a Gamine boho, etc., to choose from?
I'm a dramatic but don't feel "regal" at all! And I hate wearing clothes that are too structured. I think I have natural or flamboyant natural essence. It will be interesting trying to figure out what to wear to compliment both!
I’ve gotten both graceful, reserved and cute/adorable.I don’t know what that means at all. I like to dress in neutral colors.Love mauve and mint.Don’t know if I’m dressing within my essence.
Its harder to notice your own essence than others, I want to do a survey on people I know to find out how they see me haha. It would be great if everyone could do that thing some stand up comedians do where they pay to go on a stage and the audience write down everything they think about them without censoring anything. You get a honest look of how people see you - pretty scary but very useful.
My essence is warm and friendly with sex appeal. I always used to dress bold when I was young and I still tend to want to mix in some boldness now - I’m a kibbe soft natural but since I have a lot of romantic and a bold coloring naturally - I would say I’m a combo of romantic/natural/dramatic.
Interesting! I'm the soft classic body but soft gambine sounds like my essence. People think I'm a soft delicate kitten, but have no idea I've got claws and are always shocked when they get to know me better. 😅
Super interesting! But I feel a little confused - are the Essences about personalities? Do all Dramatics (or Classics or Romantics) have similar personality traits? Does our bodies define our personalities? It's funny though, being a Flamboyant Gamine i really recognize the description of the FG essence in myself! Curious to hear more! And yes please make separate videos on all the Essences! 😊🧡😊🧡
DahliaRose The way our bodies are shaped affect how people treat this. For example, a tall woman might carry herself more awkwardly especially at a younger age than a short and petite woman. This in turn can influence how we interact with other people.
DahliaRose I believe that your essence is something that your born with and has influence on your personality. Personality is also developed based on life experiences. So the sum of personality is essence and life experience. Our bodies do not define our personality but our frame/shape, facial structure and the way we naturally carry ourselves does have an effect on our essence. A blanket answer to your question “do all archetypes have similar personality traits)......if we think in terms of the yin/yang spectrum......in a way, yes.....BUT although each archetype can have a similar yin/yang balance of essence it can show up in different ways.
@elyssa Ooor... if we're looking at this through a spiritual lens: Maby our soul, who wanted to express a certain Essence and personality in this lifetime, then maybe that essence had an influence on the body, and the body type that was forming?... And then comes the environment. Hypothetically. And interesting.
Honestly, calling it essence seems inauthentic to what it really is... A projection onto oneself made by others based on stereotypes of how one physically looks, due to body geometry. Essence makes it sound like it's an interior quality emanating from one's soul or spirit. If you look at someone like Jason Momoa who appears to be some sort of natural or soft dramatic physically, but when you observe his behaviour and personality he's all about playfulness, which is typically assigned to Garmin.
I can only guess what she means by that exactly, but to me it seems like the sort of person that will be very hands on and direct in solving a problem or just in their approach to life in general.. like see the opportunity in every situation and pursue it, offer you direct advice without necessarily being asked for it.. I might be misinterpreting the intention but I just heard that and thought of someone close to me that we always refer to as pragmatic.. and is very aggressively so hehe
What if my body type essence is a complete opposite of my own essence? I am a flamboyant natural body type ("free spirit"), yet I am dutiful, super-organized minimalist, always following rules, check-list type of girl. There is nothing wild or creative in me. I've never been attracted to long sweaters, baggy siluetes and I always disliked boho fashion. My rules-following ass is very confused right now. :-(
@@dianana7371 Thank you Diana. I researched Audrey’s outfits and she seems to have a surprisingly tiny waist. It turns out that she weighed only 110 lbs at 5’7″ (50kg at 170cm). This is as slim as professional models are - she would look good literally in any outfit. It doesn’t mean that we would look the same in her classic outfits. Similarly, Kate Middleton seems to be Flamboyant Natural and she still looks amazing in her classic and dramatic classic outfits. If I pulled out her outfits, I would look very boxy (strong, narrow waist and very broad shoulders). There must be some elegant and smart outfits for Flamboyant Naturals too - hopefully I'll figure it out one day.
@@renfri007 oh I'm sorry! I thought you said you were a Flamboyant Gamine, Which Audrey Hepburn is too. But regarding your concern for looking too boxy, maybe take inspiration from Kate middleton and add a bit of waist emphasis and softer lines? Maybe some blazers that are made from a less stiff fabric? Other than that, Straight legged high waisted jeans are an absolute classic that I think could work on anyone and dark ones look classy. Wide legged pants from a stiffer fabric like wool look very chic too and I think that it can work for a FN with a looser top or sweater. Add some more formal footwear and I think it looks very put-together and less free-spirited while still respecting your lines.
I definitely resonate with soft natural but I have this dramatic undertone I want to pull out sometimes. What are your thoughts on the ethereal and ingenue essence ?

I have... A potato essence.
Tari Tangeo omg this is too funny 😂😂
And potatoes are the Gold of Mother earth
@@hotkebab3317 hell yeah they are
The delicious essence.
so.. you're a snack?

X2 🤗
I'd love to see a video identifying which body types old Hollywood starlets had (Bettie Page, Jayne Mansfield, etc.).
You can be a gamine body type with a classic or dramatic essence. Essence and body type are not really the same
Oh my god , I’m such a SOFT NATURAL ! Fresh & sensual ...creativity....warmth... sensitivity... aggressive pragmatism (so accurate!)
Yes please do a detailed essence series! Awesome content.
Same!
haha same lol
Finding your own essence calls for a good self awareness.
10:56 what a coincidence, this girl is from my hometown in Brazil.
Loved the video!
Yes please make a dedicated video for each type!
I like mixing up dramatic, youthful, and classic. I feel that my look/essence draws from all those types.
I definitely struggle with this. I'm a soft classic with baby face and I always feel like things look wrong on me, so I stick to wearing all black leggings shirts and cardigans lol
I'm exactly the same.😄
I just realized that I'm actually a Flamboyant Gamine.
You are back!!!! I was wondering. happy happy!
Adele_Loves Coffee 🙈🥰🤗😘
I really liked how you explained the aesthetic because I fit on the “classic” (more towards dramatic classic ) body type and I love wearing patterns but it states it makes too much sound for my body type...
This is incredible. I have a lot of internalized hatred for being extremely yin because when i grew up the beauty ideal was skinny jeans emo girls and all of that. Everything sporty and futuristic feels really off naturally for me as a romantic....
Thank you for being articulate in Kibbe's text and theory. Glad I found this channel xx
I feel like essence is the same thing as rising/ascendent in one’s birth chart.
Chantel Wensley I I wouldn’t say I am a romantic or dramatic. I believe I am somewhere in the middle
More yin face and mixed body I think
love your explanation!! I’m a soft classic and I totally relate to what was said of my essence, and I really like looking sophisticated but still looking sexy which I feel like is something that people also notice about me so I try to incorporate that into my style too.
SG here. I’m so happy to see this video! I’ve been enjoying your style lately! It truly fits you well!
Elyssa Wow, thanks! That makes a lot of sense! I really appreciate you taking the time to give me the information and I’m digesting it. 🙏😊
Wow. I know it's a generalization, but I'm a Theatrical Romantic and my essence description seems to have collected most phrases I ever considered as best compliments. It's like... I always felt that way, always wanted to be that way and that's how I'm often being perceived by others👍
love your videos on Kibbe, they are so fantastic and deeply insightful. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
Whoa thank you for this! My body type is definitely contasting of my essence and that makes so much more sense now!
Arose grass is always greener....😆
I'm soft dramatic and I've loved streetwear for years. I skate and I'm a sneakerhead so I've been trying to force the tomboy look for a while now. I know it hides my figure but I feel so bad ass in it! I get wayy more compliments when I dress for my shape though. Inherently I'm elegant, classy, feminine and 'sexy'.
simply.s YEEESSSSS!!!! And there’s still little ways for you to add in that tomboy flare without completely folding on accommodating your lines and shapes! It’s all about honoring yourself and bringing balance! ✨
@@elyssa_aesthetic I still haven't figured out how to dress streetwear for an hourglass figure yet! looks amazing on slender women like aleali may and aaliyah
simply.s hmmm sounds like a good video for me to add to the list!!
I've been waiting for someone to do a video on kibbe essences!!! Thank you so much ♡
I have been watching your videos one after another for the past hr or so and I just had to say how wonderful they are!
I just love your videos! your voice is so soothing!
i would say my body type checks most of the boxes for dramatic classic.
Love your channel, would love to see all the archetypes and how they could express different aesthetics.
I am so happy you are back with a new video 😊 and I am so excited about this topic🤗 I hope you will do a series for each archetype essence . love your videos💜💕
I'm so thankful for your videos on a spiritual level. ❤️
This was fascinating and easiest to understand explanation of essence I’ve seen 🙏🏻
" Soft dramatics are described as intimidating and sexy "
Me a shy softie : .... Oh well
Videos dedicated to specific essences would be very interesting!
Whoopie!!!!
Thanks for explaining this! And you have such a calming and beautiful voice!
my face and personality is yin, but my aura is yang. I don’t and can’t even begin to type myself.
I have a friend who has that bubbly outgoing loud aura to her and she is the most reserved person i know it's quite unsettling
I had never made a distinction between aesthetic and essence. Interesting.
Essence leads you to aesthetic ✨
Im SG and i always relate most to Theatrical Romantic including this video 🤷♀️
I definitely have a classic essence, I was always described as “posh” by my friends despite being very middle class lol. Always wished I had more of a natural essence though, as I’m young (19) it feels hard to dress sophisticated when I’m only a teen
yes a dedicated vid for all archetypes!!
Great video! (although I missed ethereal and ingenue!) (I'll wait for them!!!).
And now I'm anxious for the dedicated videos! 😂😂😂
Letícia Santana yes! I’m going to be covering etherial and ingenue in a dedicated video 😉
Yes please do make separate videos on each essence! 😍😍😍
BurstAngel ahhhh I see. Well it definitely sounds like you’re achieving balance which is the goal!!! 🙌🏻
It would be interesting to see a video on the best combination of aesthetics? Which best compliment each other.
Can you please make videos for the different archetypes? That would be amazing!
Your channel is very interesting, please keep it up! Thanks for the information.
When i was younger i was asking for a SG essence. It was so of on me... Not because i am not playful because i am pure TR. I have this kind of spiciness!
ΑΜΑΛΙΑ ΓΑΖΗ love the spicy essence of theatrical romantics!!
would you say something about Olga Brylinska's etheteal typology
Thank you. So is this video saying for example if someone is drawn to boho for themselves there can be a Dramatic boho or a Romantoc boho or a Gamine boho, etc., to choose from?
Please do a vid on flamboyant natural essence and esthetics
I'm a DC and it was pretty accurate
There’s plenty of online forums to get feedback from too
My body type is Soft Dramatic but going off how people describe me as a person, my essence is mainly Natural/Flamboyant Natural. Interesting =)
Thank you - really interesting content - would love it if you could produce videos with detail for each essence type.
@@sattvadevi I love this!
I believe I'm a SD with Ethereal mermaid essence and True summer palette
Are your Pinterest boards still up? (asking because I'm having trouble opening them) 🌻
Honestly, calling it essence seems inauthentic to what it really is...
Where's my introverted, sloth, sleepy, dreamy, thinky, geeky, genderless, ageless, essence ?
Ethereal?
Not sure, but I think we share an essence!
This is a basically me, though
Liberal essence
Sounds ethereal to me :)
What does Aggressive pragmatism mean ?
I can only guess what she means by that exactly, but to me it seems like the sort of person that will be very hands on and direct in solving a problem or just in their approach to life in general.. like see the opportunity in every situation and pursue it, offer you direct advice without necessarily being asked for it.. I might be misinterpreting the intention but I just heard that and thought of someone close to me that we always refer to as pragmatic.. and is very aggressively so hehe
i think i have a classic essence and a soft natural body type but i have no idea how to style that with my personal aesthetic
When are the individual videos coming?
Do you have any video about boho and romantic aesthetic for DC?
What if my body type essence is a complete opposite of my own essence? I am a flamboyant natural body type ("free spirit"), yet I am dutiful, super-organized minimalist, always following rules, check-list type of girl. There is nothing wild or creative in me. I've never been attracted to long sweaters, baggy siluetes and I always disliked boho fashion. My rules-following ass is very confused right now. :-(
Audrey Hepburn isFG !
Chantel Wensley I think that they have relevance and they’re something to consider 🙃
Why is it that I get sleepy when the voice is great and calming?
Please do some more in-depth essence videos . Especially on all the Gamine types
Great video, thnk you!
