    Instead of moving your saw to the same degree reading on your saw, flip the 2nd piece over and cut it on the top edge of the baseboard. Moving the saw will increase the error. 19 degrees on one side of the saw might be on and when you move the saw to 19 degrees on the other side it might be off 1/2 degree.

      Was thinking exactly the same as to why he moved the saw the other side for 19 degrees.

      If you are concerned about the quality of the cut, you always want the finished side facing you. The saw cuts clean on the face but has tear out on the back. The only way to not have this is to use a piece of wood to use as a sacrificial fence or a zero clearance fence if some kind on the miter saw

      My question with that tool is if it tells me that I should cut the pieces at 60 to form the 120 degree angle, isn't there a miter saw that does that or will I have to divide 60 by 2 in that case? I think that after 47 I must have a method my saw doesn't cut more than that. who helps me

    I've been using the Starrett version of this for about 6 years now, so hardly a new concept. I also have the Plano angle divider which I find faster and more accurate partly because you set the saw directly from the gauge rather than transferring degrees

    Great vid thank you for making it. I just got one of these and I’m just becoming familiar with it. So when would I use the single cut function? I don’t totally understand.
    I understand using the “miter” cut function. (Thanks to you) 😃

    great video but do not cross your arms when making cuts on a miter saw. It can be very dangerous.

    Thanks. Would like to see crown molding video. Is there a reason that there are single and double cut scales? I thought an angle is an angle but I am a newbie.

    Superb quality throughout, easy to assemble. I found the saw to be highly accurate and a delight to use (I am a homeowner using this saw for various projects). I attached the saw to a folding mobile stand to save space and that works great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxPeGkHOMe05FySypTOvYumxMn-xi39oRe as well. However, you have to be sure the saw is securely locking in position before collapsing the stand. I've had many of the brands over the years and have come to point where I only buy Bosch, the extra money is a small price to pay for the quality and ease of use. Treat yourself to the best.

      You mean the $1500 miter saw that has a problem with the motor burning out? Does the miter saw measure corners too? I never heard about that feature.

    • @valentinassabaliauskas913
      @valentinassabaliauskas913 Год назад

      @@MAGAMAN yes it does measure corners.

      I haven't burn mine yet and haven't even heard anyone burning it. It probably needs extreme abuse to achieve that. But if you had experience of burning kapex motor. It surprises me that you haven't used its corner angle gage.
