I can only say thanks back! It takes a special person to sit back and give a review, even if it takes only a few minutes. I do not take this for granted and can only say thank you to you and all the lovely people cheering me and my small channel on.
Thank you
Simple, looks delicious, and delivered in such a beautifully charming fashion... Will serve tonight, thank you!
thank you very much! It pairs up very well with rice but go ahead and have it with your favourite side dish.
WOW! I tried this tonight not really knowing what the flavor would be, but I regularly use each of the ingredients in many of my spice mixtures, so I figured it'd be good. I am so thankful you posted this, and I found it in my search today, because this was amazingly tasteful. I followed the instructions to the letter, and it came out perfectly. If anyone is on the fence about trying this, JUMP DOWN AND DO IT!
Hey there! Thank you so much for trying this recipe, and for leaving a word for those who have not tried it yet! I am so glad you enjoyed it. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Just came across this and you have answered all my questions. I have a stove top pressure cooker and will try your dish maybe cooking a couple of minutes less. I have an air fryer which I can use for the broiling. Thank you so much for sharing.

YUMMMM! turned out great

Mine took 25 mins to cook through but it was absolutely delicious! Thanks so much 🤗
thank you so much! Happy you enjoyed it!
I made this for dinner tonight and it was *delicious* Thank you for sharing and I hope you make more recipe videos like this 🤤❤️❤️
Thank you Andrea and sorry for the late reply. I definitely will, working on it.
I absolutely loved your video from a to z. You not only showed how to Cook from frozen but also thought of the crispy skin! Beautiful ❤️
thank you so much Chantilli Lou! RUclips can be really difficult for beginners like me, but kind comments such as yours are what have encouraged me to keep going. I wish you a wonderful rest of the week!
It's obvious you know Cooking and it sure helps me, mom of 4! You are doing a beautiful job at explaining, keep going!
@@paulasalinas3 Thank you very much! You are also doing an amazing job. I know it is not easy being a mom, leave alone a mom of 4! Keep up the good work, you make the world a beautiful place!
I made these for dinner and they came out incredible!! I used frozen boneless skinless thighs and cooked for 15 min on high pressure with 5 minutes natural release. I also used the sauté function to cook the liquid down to a thick sauce afterwards and it came out soooo flavorful and delicious.
Thank you for making the recipe, you got me hungry, just reading this. Yum!
This came out fantastic! I "saved" this one in my recipes! I had to cook them longer than you, but still came out great. I reduced the sauce in a pan on the stove and added some cold unsalted butter. But, your recipe started it all!
Thank you!! Oh yes, I am finding that sometimes bigger chicken thighs take longer. Glad you enjoyed and your sauce sounds amazing - I will try it with some butter next time.
Cooked this tonight. Just in the broiler now! Will be serving over rice for my kiddos :)
thank you for trying this recipe out!
This looks soo good I will try this
Let me know how you find it.
V-E-R-Y diverse picky eaters in a family of 5.... they ALL gave it a resounding thumbs up! We need a name for it ....I'm just going to use your channel name IP CHICKEN. Truly delicious, and I second anothers comment that your video was short and sweet. Perfection!! I'll have to peruse your channel, betting there are more gems. Thank you from this family 👪
Hi Michelle, thank you very much! That makes me so happy. I also have two very picky eaters so I know what that means. It also means a lot, if you check, you will see that it was one of the first videos I ever made. I was very critical about it, and still am a little, but the love that you have all shown me gives me going. I wish you a lovely day (or evening) depending on where you are!!
Looks delicious
It is! Thank you.
I tried this for dinner tonight and my kids and husband ate it all up. Very tasty and easy to make. I luv the curry and tumeric flavors. Will be making again, thank you, thank you 😊
That is wonderful! Glad you enjoyed it!
Yuuum yumm it's looks delicious!!😩♥️♥️
I wish I could ship you a plate.🤗
My favorite frozen chicken recipe 😋
Thank you!
Made this tonight, with thawed boneless skinless thighs, and it was amazing! Ten minutes at pressure with a natural pressure release. The chicken came out fork-tender! I shredded half for another meal over rice. Your spice blend really rocks! I am salt-sensitive, so I might cut the salt amount in half. Thank you for this outstanding recipe!
That makes me so happy! I have not made this in a while, I think I may also try it out shredded over rice.
Going to try this recipe tonight. Thank you!
Have fun making it!!
@@weeatatlast I'll let you know how it comes out.
@@weeatatlast It was delicious. The whole family loved it.
@@12lreagan so happy!! Glad you loved this chicken recipe!
That looks so good! I have the Instant Pot/Duo Crisp which would be a big help to crisping the skin. Since I live in a NYC apartment, I don't have that option of finishing it off on a outside grill but the air fryer feature will do for now. Thanks for this!🎉
I thought the same! I created this recipe before Instant Pot introduced their Duo Crisp, so I had to be innovative with broiling. Finishing it off in the air fryer (AF) is certainly a great alternative!
@@weeatatlast 💯🍗👩🏽🍳
I just made this tonight and it was delicious. My only issue I had (my fault), I didn’t have chicken thighs and used legs and some small chicken breast fillets. The chicken breast dried right up, so if anyone thinks this substitute is a good idea - it’s not - Lol! If anyone did this successfully with chicken breast, please let me know how you altered it. The drumstick legs were fantastic but they required an additional time to cook. This is probably why my chicken breast dried up. Other than my mistake, the spice blend is perfect and yummy! I’ll be making this dish properly in the future again and again! 😁 Thanks so much! ❤️
Hi, Cherry thank you for making this and I am so happy you tried! Not a problem at all that you used chicken legs and breast fillet instead of thighs, I also love to use what I have. I guess that's how us foodies end up coming with new recipes, right? I will try experimenting with frozen legs/chicken breast, perhaps come up with a new recipe. Have a lovely day and keep winning!!
Really delicious. My first time cooking with my instapot. I left out the coriander as to my dismay I didn’t have any. Spice mixture was still delicious!! I also didn’t broil it and really don’t think it is necessary. My only thought for next time would be to add a bit of sa than gum to liquid at the end of the cooking in order to thicken up the sauce before serving.
thank you very Erica, so glad to enjoy it and thanks for the suggestion, I will certainly try it out next time!
Looks super delicious 😋😋👌👌
thanks Rose!
I just made this but with a twist because I only had frozen skinless boneless thighs. I made it with all your spices but I cooked it for 25 minutes in instant pot and shredded it instead of putting it under broiler. Served it on rice and it’s very good. I should have removed the chicken and thickened the sauce but the juice is so tasty it didn’t matter❤️I’m buying bone in and skin on thighs. Your spice mixture is to die for! Thank you!
Hi Deb. That's a lovely way of making it too! Now I am interested in making it using skinless chicken thighs, then shredding it. Sounds lovely! Thank you too for leaving in a kind word, it means a lot!
@@weeatatlast I’m very happy I found your channel🌹
THAT looks absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for this. I will most definitely be giving this a try next week, after grocery shopping. Thank you. God Bless
That makes me so happy. Thank you, God bless you too.
not sure what voodoo this is but either i fell in love with her voice or her chicken my wife going to kill me
Lol! You are so funny!! Wife, don't do it, I can tell you it's the chicken!!
I-
I like it
Thank you so much Faith. You have been such a blessing, your support means a lot.
Wow those chicken thighs look so good! I love a quick meal and chicken thighs are cheap.
They are! Perfect for a quick dinner too!
What temperature to broil ? Thank you for the info quick and easy recipe! 😃
Thank you and hope you got to try. Most ovens have a straightforward on or off broiler setting f, but if your oven does not, set it to high heat, (around 260º celcius or 500º Fahrenheit)- leave the oven door a crack open so the oven does not overheat.
Great video! But maybe I missed it do you add the rest of the spices before you close the pot?
Thank you! I reserved the rest and used it when broiling.

Oh my!!! Thank you very very very much! You got me to 300! It has not been an easy journey but it is so much fun sharing my love with you all. Thank you again!
Hello, I’m your printable recipe you mention to use a trivet but in your video I didn’t see that you used one. Will this change anything? Thank you!! ❤️
Thank you for pointing this out! No, you do not necessarily need a trivet, so it is okay not to use one.Lovely day ahead!
👌
Thank you Andrew.
Two questions
1) My instant doesn’t have high pressure just manual 15 mins , is that enough to cook through or should I leave for longer?
2) once time is up just open don’t vent first ?
If you are cooking FROZEN chicken thighs that have the bones and skin on, then cook for 15 minutes. Once the cooking time is done, allow it to release the pressure on its own/cool down a bit for at least 10 minutes before opening. If using UNFROZEN chicken thighs with the skin and bones on, pressure cook for about 10-12 minutes and allow to naturally pressure release for at least 5 minutes once the cooking time is done. So basically, you need to allow the pressure some time to cool down, do not open it immediately. I hope this helps.
Looks delicious ! I’m about to make this and the chicken is not frozen so I wonder how long to cook it ! 🤔
Hi Doll, you would have to sear and brown them first. So basically, set your Instant Pot on sear for 5 minutes, add oil and brown then cook but for a shorter period. I included the cooking times on the post on my website (around 10-12 minutes). You can then broil if you like. Also, feel free to thicken the sauce with some slurry, if you prefer it thicker. I hope this helps. If I get time (been occupied with the kids) I will do a similar recipe, this time without frozen chicken.
@@weeatatlast Thank you Sis ! ❤️
You didn’t mention when to add the spices. I added with the chicken stock. Thanks for the video
I did (at 1:16 -1:17 minutes), I normally use half of it, I use just top it on the frozen chicken thighs then cook everything together. I reserve half of the spice for next time and use it in other recipes. Does it mean you used all the spice? Thanks, all the same, I will try out your method as well!!
Yes you did. I’m embarrassed.
@@misterm7086 no need to be, I miss things all the time plus you were coming from a good place. Just the other day, I forgot to add salt to a written recipe and would not have known had someone not pointed it out. Thanks again, have a lovely week!
😊
Thank you 🥰
Looks yummy ! If I want to use half the amount of chicken , do I have to adjust the amount of spices etc and cooking time ?
Thank you. Yes reduce the amount of spice, but maintain the cooking time.
@@weeatatlast I’ve just made this and it was delicious ! Please share more chicken instant pot recipes :)
Thank you!!! Oh yes, I will!!
Is there a coriander substitute, or can i leave it out?
How much garlic powder equals 4 cloves?
Im going to try this today!
Sorry just seeing this. You can use chopped fresh parsley instead, or leave it out altogether. Regarding the garlic, use between 1/2tsp to 1 tsp, depending on how garlicky you like your food.
@weeatatlast Wow thank you for the fast reply❤️. There are toooo many "how-to" video creators that won't answer questions from viewers. Your recipe has items I have and the directions are easy. I can't cook (I have pictures of unrecognizable meals, and burned food on the bottom of pots and pans). I have never been able to cook for some reason.)
I truly appreciate your response and substitutions!
Looks great and any man that has a beautiful lady that knows how to cook is great...thank you
thank you Darrell! You made me smile💞
Didn't fully cook the chicken that was not immersed in water 😢
Hi dear. I am sorry to hear that. A possible reason could be the weight/size of your frozen chicken thighs. But I cannot tell for sure. Try pouring the broth on top of the chicken next time, as shown in the video. Otherwise, have a wonderful and productive week ahead!
An excellent presentation
Personally I part, pressure cook the chicken to ~8 min (depending on size)
Then Hot pan fry or broil . A meat thermometer is advised
Yes I know 15 min pressure cook is likely safe
PS Anyone Choosing my method is at their own choice.
Thanks for the tips!
