When these extremely creative pass-first guys loose their joy and they don‘t have the synergy with the system/their linemates they rapidly fall off way more often than gritty physical guys. Drouin back in the day, ghost back in philly, barrie in toronto. I mean everyone knows huberdeau was an elite playmaker for his entire career. Somethings just doesn‘t fit, and imo it‘s the lack of creativity on the flames roster to support his playstyle

Hubby is a play maker. Not a goal scorer. He is not a power winger. Reinvent this guy at Center with 2 speedy wingers. Start him on the 4th line at center and be supportive -it will come. He is not 10 mill. player , someone made a mistake. But he could be a good 3 line center.
