This video shows not only what an amazing hockey player he was, but also an amazing person. I heard about him that he never turned down a fan, he tried to please everyone and gave out smiles, photos, autographs and it made him very happy that he made someone else happy, you can see in his eyes what a great guy he was, nice and a good person . I'm from the Czech Republic and I love the NHL as much as the other leagues, every time I get up to work in the morning, I look at the results, who scored a goal in which team and very often I saw Johnny in the statistics. He was a huge star both on the ice and in life, now he is our star in the sky along with his brother Matthew.
Thank you, we will not forget. #13

Gaudreau is right up there with Joe Mullen and Brian Gionta among the greatest forwards to come out of Boston College.

Where he played had no bearing on what happened. Whether he was still here in Calgary or with any other team, he still would have been at home in Jersey for his sister's wedding, riding his bike with his brother. The only thing to blame is the selfish bastard who decided to drive drunk

Very poor judgment riding bikes on a dark road at night on the shoulder in pitch black darkness
    among idiot drivers...
makes zero sense to do this being who they were

    • @ChrisMcG82

What a dumb comment. They were out riding their bikes and a drunk driver went around a vehicle on the wrong side of the road and hit them.

1.We don’t know what they were wearing they could have been wearing reflectors
      2. It’s not like they were in the country or something Salem has enough streetlights it wouldn’t be dark
      3. It was 8:20pm there would have still been some light
      4. The driver passed a car on the wrong side and hit them

What a fucking idiot to speak so poorly of these two amazing souls and victims of a drunk driver. RIP Boys. You will be missed.
