This video shows not only what an amazing hockey player he was, but also an amazing person. I heard about him that he never turned down a fan, he tried to please everyone and gave out smiles, photos, autographs and it made him very happy that he made someone else happy, you can see in his eyes what a great guy he was, nice and a good person . I'm from the Czech Republic and I love the NHL as much as the other leagues, every time I get up to work in the morning, I look at the results, who scored a goal in which team and very often I saw Johnny in the statistics. He was a huge star both on the ice and in life, now he is our star in the sky along with his brother Matthew. Thank you, we will not forget. #13
Johnny put the flames back on the NHL map as a team to be dealt with and nothing ignored what the kid could could do with the puke was amazing I wasn't excited when the flames drafted him cuz I didn't know much about what he was doing in Boston college but once he came here he grew as a player and omg did he ever mature into 1 of the flames great players and when he left i knew r team wouldn't be the same again for awhile Johnny u have no idea how much u will be missedas a flames and as I player in the NHL when I found out from my ex what happened I prayed she heard the news wrote and when the reports started coming throw more and more I was absolutely studden in disbelief and teared up fast and i was absolutely incredibly proud of r flames fans and city of calgary as a whole how we showed we cared everyday when ppl kepted dropping items of all kinds to pay r respects to Johnny and Matt and show r love there the guedueau family to Johnny and matts wives and there beautiful babys r prayers, hugs and thoughts r with everyday and just know the city of calgary and it flames fans and the flames organization r here for u love u all ❤ R.I.P. GUEDUEAU BOYS ❤😢🥺😌💔💞✌🤟👍🤝🙏
Where he played had no bearing on what happened. Whether he was still here in Calgary or with any other team, he still would have been at home in Jersey for his sister's wedding, riding his bike with his brother. The only thing to blame is the selfish bastard who decided to drive drunk
Very poor judgment riding bikes on a dark road at night on the shoulder in pitch black darkness among idiot drivers... makes zero sense to do this being who they were
1.We don’t know what they were wearing they could have been wearing reflectors 2. It’s not like they were in the country or something Salem has enough streetlights it wouldn’t be dark 3. It was 8:20pm there would have still been some light 4. The driver passed a car on the wrong side and hit them
I'll miss him forever one of the greatest Calgary Flames of all time please put his # in the rafters 😢
They have announced to retire his number when the blue jackets come to Calgary
@@CarterMoench No they have not
Well deserved 👏
Who you telling? A small RUclipsr
I've rarely seen the hockey world so shaken.
What a loss....

Царствие Небсеное! Счастья на небесах Джонни Хоккей и Мэттью Годро!
Beautiful tribute.
Gaudreau is right up there with Joe Mullen and Brian Gionta among the greatest forwards to come out of Boston College.
Great tribute thank you.
Love the video you will be missed, I’m an oiler fan I don’t think anyone doesn’t miss you seeing your Highlights brings awe and such a deep sadness
What a shame that two people two brothers had to miss out on the rest of their lives …. I hope their loved ones find comfort someday.
Great video to honor such a wonderful human being.
Для тех кто пьёт за рулём! Смотрите и подумайте сколько людей вы сделали несчастными!!!
I Miss him Everyday
Wonderful tribute, thank you 🙏
What a beautiful video
He wasn’t my favourite but he was a flame in his heart and that’s good enough for me may he and his brother rest in power.
First and last goal in columbus
❤❤❤❤
Still in shocked.
Johnny Magic= Datsyuk Russia
No footage of Johny hitting the deck when the Columbus cannon goes off???
Eeeeah 😱
They better retire his jersey
You stop it
He should’ve never played for Columbus.

What a dumb comment. They were out riding their bikes and a drunk driver went around a vehicle on the wrong side of the road and hit them.
1.We don’t know what they were wearing they could have been wearing reflectors
2. It’s not like they were in the country or something Salem has enough streetlights it wouldn’t be dark
3. It was 8:20pm there would have still been some light

very poor judgment from you writing this nonesense comment
Poor judgment to drink and drive. And make this comment
What a fucking idiot to speak so poorly of these two amazing souls and victims of a drunk driver. RIP Boys. You will be missed.
