I think Henry VIII just wanted Margaret's properties and killed her to get them. Nothing good to say about Henry VIII, a man who treated his own children horribly.
She was also made a saint by the church! :-)
I'm direct descendant of Margaret Pole, still have the family name and live not so far from Farleigh Castle in the UK
Hey Jason,
Her story is very intriguing, I finished reading the “Kings Curse” this afternoon. She is by far my favorite person in the Tudor era.
Jason, it means you still have blood of Plantagenets
Sad. Poor woman.
I love to listen to all your podcast. Fascinating !!! Question? The Tudors are very interesting but do you think you would ever do stories about Henry VIII’s mother and her family the Plantagenets?
taronwalker21 i am open minded to the idea. I’ve stayed away (for the most part) because of the name but may do one or two more in the future.
Good idea :-) I am starting a Tudors Histroy next month :-)
I am interested in all the reigns. I'd live to hear more on other eras too :) great job
The York Princess and her entanglement with Richard the 3rd is very interesting. Anything surrounding the Woodville family is rich with drama.
Glad I found this pod cast but I was wondering why you said Margaret Plantagenet was the only one left in her family. But her Brother Edward Earl of Warwick was still alive. He didn’t die until 1499 as i think. ❤️❤️
She outlived her parents and siblings. I don’t recall the exact words I used in the podcast as I recorded that specific one years ago. Glad you found the podcast, be sure to subscribe to the channel as well!
@@TudorsDynasty thank you for the reply and I already subscribed listened to a couple so far. Have a great weekend
I am related to her I have traced my family history very far to 0045 AD
Nice
My great aunt x,s 18. Tudors were evil usurpers!
I find these videos very interesting perhaps work on your pronunciation, its Warwick not war-rick some other names are not quite just a small thing easy to adjust.
It is pronounced War-rick not Warwick.
Um it’s War-rick.
