Flying Goat Farm is a farmstead creamery in south-central Maine. We milk purebred and American Nubian dairy goats and process their milk into cheese right on the farm. In late 2019, we partnered with Devin's sister and her husband and moved the entire farm operation and herd to our new location, a 230 acre former cow dairy farm that had ceased operations in the 80's.

Hey! That's our cooling tank 🙌🙌
very simple . greetings from NewZealand
We love NZ. We spent 4months working on farms there. It’s got to be close to 20years now since that trip. It changed my life. NZ is a big reason why am a small farmer
I just came across your video and have a couple of questions. About how much milk are each of your ewes giving per day? And how many ewes are you milking? Last question: what do you think about having 2 'milking herds' - and allowing 6 months 'off' between when they come fresh? I only have 1 season in the mountains - and that is Spring - 60º to 80º all year. I'll be starting my Nubian goat dairy in a few months (in Ecuador) mostly for making cheese and butter for everyone living and working on the homestead. I've had a Holstein dairy years ago so I am familiar with most of the equipment and the process. Looking forward to your response.
Would y'all mind sharing what you feed them? I am in a very rural area where people think you just throw goats in a pasture and let them be. Only feed available is from Tractor Supply or local feed stores. No dairy grain available.
