Have owned one now for a couple of months here is my options on it .The camera is excellent the clarity of the picture brilliant especially if you download the app to an IPAD however now we come to the bad stuff Firstly the app is glitchy and freezes on a regular basis also my phone is warning about power consumption all the time. But the biggest let down with it is the motion detection in the time it has taken to type this I have had five alerts all false alarms this is with it set to its next to lowest setting and a partial area set it reads shadows moving across the ground as movement reflections of clouds in the body work of my car as movement and the IR at night is worse rain sets it of flying insects set it off spider Web in front of the camera set it off I have taken to turning it to at home mode at night because I have had over 100 alerts in a night caused by anything from headlights on the road which is excluded from the detection area to heavy rain.
I wanna replace an outdoor lamp with the EZVIZ LC1C. What happens with the lamp, if there is no wifi (e.g. if I turn it off at night or else)? Can I use the the electricity-switch to turn the lamp on and off??? Or do I stand in the dark if the wifi is down?

Exactly! I can't understand why the motion detection reacts on shadows and lightning! It shouldn't to happen.

It's actually a lot better because u don't have to subscribe u can just delete videos off the memory card and start again like i do
Ring are rubbish after what's happened in America you'd be a fool to recommend their stuff ezviz is a lot better and has more options as well
