    Can you show how to set up the air transmitter on the Teric?

    Very nice video. Well explained. Watch looks great. I want one as a normal daily wear. Is the case quite scratch resistant ? Please..

    Please Include GPS, heart rate monitor & pulse oximeter function to shearwater Teric. No one can beat the Teric thereafter.

    Is there a way to select 2 compass way points?
    - First 1 you select above water (your safe exit/home, that remains for the dive (or is harder to remove)
    - Another that you select as your heading / way point (going to an anchor at 300°..... Once there I change it to 230° to head towards the next sight... Etc...

    What is the battery life when using at a daily wear watch? I agree with poster below...the only thing stopping me from purchasing at the moment. I will be using it on dives but am a little concerned if it lasts only a couple days in watch mode.

    ....wonderful...like my Perdix...

      I have the Perdix as well. The larger screen allows you to put so much more information on it.
      With the latest firmware update you can have 2 pieces of data on the top row (with one switching between NDL/Deco/SI automatically), 7 pieces of data on the middle row, and 5 on the bottom.
      It does clutter the screen, but I know of no other dive computer that can give that much info on the fly.

    Mate what’s the battery life if I just wear it as a daily wrist watch with the brightness on say medium? The thought of having to charge it every 2nd day is at current only thing stopping me from biting the bullet!

    If I were wearing this daily can I switch out my bands for any 22mm band ?

    • @ShearwaterResearch

      That was our intent when we chose the 22mm band size -- to make it easy for customers to switch to 3rd party watchbands. Cheers.

    Is it possible to change the colors of the dive mode? F.e. can I change the blue writing to an other color? thx!

    • @bloodymarvelous4790
      @bloodymarvelous4790 8 месяцев назад

      Yes, the blue writing can be changed to a variety of colors.
      The white text can be either white or green, but no other colors.

    Does it support the GPS signal? I am really into the habit of reading my dive site on the Google Map.

      No, the Teric doesn't have GPS.
      The only dive watch I'm aware of that has GPS is the Garmin Descent.

    During my last dive, GTR said "off". What's up with that?

    Can i use home screen standard mode for OC rec instead of big font

    • @bloodymarvelous4790
      @bloodymarvelous4790 8 месяцев назад

      No, the standard mode is not available for OC Rec. OC Rec keeps the information displayed to a minimum to prevent overloading the diver with superfluous information.

    Does the colour changes as you go deeper or it stays as selected? Example if I set it to red or green on the surface, will the colour change as I dive deeper?

    • @bloodymarvelous4790
      @bloodymarvelous4790 8 месяцев назад

      You can't set the color to red. Red is an alarm color.
      Also, no, colors don't change with depth, unless you're exceeding alert or alarm depths.
      For instance, if you're diving on air, your maximum operating depth is 57 meters.
      Once you hit 52 meters, the depth display will turn amber, and when you go beyond 57 meters it will turn red.
      (You may see videos with text color being red, but that's because of the red filter on the camera.)

    • @Randiosands
      @Randiosands 2 года назад

      Really? Did I just read this correctly? You need to have someone explain how to charge it? I am a technology idiot and even I know how to charge it! I do have a couple other questions, but how to charge it isn’t one!!!

    • @bloodymarvelous4790
      @bloodymarvelous4790 8 месяцев назад

      So you came to a video explaining how to set up your home screen expecting instructions how to charge it? And the video showing exactly what it set out to explain is a terrible presentation because of it?
      Not wanting to leave you without the important information you were looking for: You charge it by placing the watch on the charger. Make sure you plug the charger into a power source though. You may need to do a search on how to plug your charger into a wall socket.
