So unfortunately parts of this are no longer valid, they did an update that made adding Team Members way worse.
Now you have to add them with a bunch of extra permissions and PIN numbers for the POS and Time Cards even if you aren't using them, plus they have access to other info you might not want, and only then can you say if someone is a W2 or 1099.
Then at the end you can remove all those permissions but it gives you a message that your team member isn't complete.
Clearly the people who ordered these changes don't actually use it, because it's way worse now than it was in this video.

Is there any benefit to using this over ADP. I’m unsure if i should use ADP or use square since i already use it for my business

I would say it depends. I'm using it to pay contractors who get paid when I say. I want to pay them instantly, like today. And square is making me wait until next week to pay them. I also don't see the other options like Cash app or instant pay like it said there would be online. I don't want to use Cash app but it is not even an option. Might be easier to go with something else.

Hey, Fred! Great question! We recommend that you go with Square if you're happy with it already. ADP is a more comprehensive/built-out option that will likely suit bigger businesses or those with more complex payroll needs, but Square would be a better fit for a small business with simple payroll needs. Also, you get more out of remaining within the Square ecosystem, such as clocking in & out using the Square POS terminal (if you have it). Plus, ADP is more expensive, if that helps at all. For an in-depth look at both ADP & Square Payroll, check out our reviews: www.merchantmaverick.com/reviews/adp-payroll-review/ & www.merchantmaverick.com/reviews/square-payroll-review/
