This truck looks like it has great potential, just like most hbx rcs.
I’m really surprised at how the wheelie bar broke and the dogbone bent so bad. I hope hbx didn’t downgrade the materials they use.

How would you compare this to the 16889?

I agree and was thinking the same thing. I know I’ve had a few 16889a dog bones pop out, but I don’t recall them bending like that ever. It didn’t happen again so could have just been a really bad landing, but that’s also now two bad hbx remotes lately. I sure hope that’s coincidental too!

I do have those. The bezgar is the same as the h16bm.
I did a comparison video on the 16889a vs the HyperGo you should watch IF those are two of your choices. They’re quite different from each other. Also, check out my hbx 2996a review and also the upgrade vid comparison. Love that truck! They’re all good though!

Awesome video like usual! So Haiboxing has/had a promo for the 2105 "Duel" here in Canada. The "Duel" is the brushed 390 version. What parts list do you figure I would need to setup the "Duel" on brushless? The 2105A would have came close to $215 to get to me in Canada, but the "Duel" only cost me $89 with this promo haha. Cheaper than my son's 16889 brushed with the same 390 motor and my daughters 18858 with the 380 motor lol. I guess I would need a brushless motor, a new esc and would I need to do something else? Looks like hte same transmitter for 2105 vs 2105A...

If it is the same transmitter, then that should be it unless you wanna fit oil filled shocks.
I thought it was weird they came out with the duel, cuz they already had one called the T10 I think it was that was the brushed version of the 2105a. Lol
They keep coming out with the same cars!! 🤣
But ya that seems like a darn good deal!

I tried the coupon code and when I put it in, it made the price go up to $123.99 before the discount, then took off $27.98 to make it $98.64. That’s still a couple bucks cheaper but feels like being misled by banggood. Awesome video though my man!

That is pretty lame, I agree. It’s good compared to its regular price but just barely better than the sale.

Hi, do you know if the 16890a Destroyes parts fit the 2105a Stryker? I'm having trouble finding replacement parts for the Stryker. thanks.

    • @DerbyCityRC

A few of them may fit, but not all of them. Most of the parts on the Stryker are from the Eachine EC30.
      What parts are you needing?

@@DerbyCityRCThe ones that are actually much closer to the claimed top speeds are the JJRC/SuChiYu brushless cars. I don't know what the difference is with the electronics, but with which looks like the same green brushless motor in the HBX as in the SuChiYou, I expected it to do better than it did.

If a lot more people was like me I wouldn't purchase any vehicle without oil filled shocks or a brushless motor. Why would you do that. If people would do that maybe these companies would put oil filled shocks and brushless engines and all their vehicles. They got to realize this is the 2000s not 1917. Yeah they want to make money off of that stuff. Make money the right way You can make money off your stuff when stuff breaks then we'll buy it. People would be more likely to buy your vehicles if they had brushless engines and oil filled shocks. And like I said when things break then we will buy parts then you can make your money that way. Thanks for listening. God bless you all.😮😊😊
