    A focused workout on arms & abs. Jump on your reformer for this great Pilates workout!
    ✅ You need :

    Confirmed Beginner/Intermediate
    🎯 Focus :
    Arms & Abs.
    A focused workout on arms & abs. We will start in a quadruped position, asking the core to stabilize us, lifted in space, while we mobilize through lower and upper body challenging shoulder girdle strength. We will move into unilateral challenges by removing 1-2 of the 4 pegs underneath us, learning to stay centered without weight shifting creating a stronger core. You will find the connection from your shoulders to serratus to lats to obliques to all abs in the work we do today, using full body integration. Do you struggle with “winging” shoulder blades when planking ? Today’s session will greatly help develop greater shoulder girdle strength for planks. We will largely be working the posterior chain, meaning the back body, so your glutes will get worked too ! A great workout to improve posture and combat any forward slumping. And last but not least, we will work our core as we load from one side and resist being pulled off center ! A fantastic inner thigh, adductor and oblique challenge, great to work all asymmetries and help weak sides catch up with the stronger ones.
    Have fun and remember if you want more, come back as many times as you like and repeat. Repetition and practice is what makes us stronger and helps us achieve our fitness goals !

      So many vids here. I like this the most. You go slow and stretch and your voice is so chill. Not a lot of stretching in other people's videos and they go too fast, and not relaxing at all. Plus i don't have a box or ball and in most videos you need those so i cannot do those. This is similiar to matwork, which i love. Thanks for this!

    I loved this workout. It got my heart rate up. Struggled with some of them but I can see i could build up the strength to get there. Please do more RUclips reformer workouts at this level. Very inspirational, thank you for taking the time to share this.

    Hi there, can I clarify please, my blue spring is the lightest, is this the correct spring for this workout? Thank you so much

      Hi Katie, thanks for your comment. Good question! A blue spring for me is medium tension. For me my yellow spring is the lightest. So I would go with whatever is a medium tension for your reformer. Thanks for working out with me! I hope I see you soon on the reformer 🌟

    Can you provide insight into the brand of reformer that you use and recommend? It appears that you are using a Balance Body? I would prefer to keep the cost about 2-3K if possible for my use at home 3-4 x week.

      Hi Emma, as you are the instructor with your clients and I am sure you know them well, I definitely recommend that you adapt exercises to each of them 😘

      Emma Dedic You can also do a little move away from that posture and come back later for more, no need to do it as long as I do here, you can also adapt on elbows, put towels rolled up underneath your clients wrists to reduce the angle of flexion, lots of options ! 😉hope that helps!
