I would say the Air 2s is the best choice for anyone on a small budget. But for someone who makes money with drone recordings and for everyone else who has a larger budget, I would recommend the Mavic 3.

, but don’t know how “real world” it is. I almost never take stills without AEB turned on. Even a 4/3 sensor is a lot smaller than a full frame sensor, so has reduced dynamic range. If you are using AEB to increase the dynamic range, I would imagine they would both improve, but with the differences being even smaller. I have the 2S, and it sure was a big improvement over the Air 2. I also wonder if it would reduce the advantage in low light situations too.

Very good video both in content and presentation. Only one very small gripe...for those of us who use head phones, it'd be nice if your voice audio is in stereo. Otherwise, Great video!

The sad reality is that DJI is needing their sensors for the sake of video quality. There’s really no perfect option for us still shooters 😔

Mavic 3 image quality is best at F/5.6. The depth of field isn’t similar between the drones if you use the same aperture as M3 has a bigger sensor. Also the the difference between image quality is easier to see if you shoot at lower altitude and have trees or buildings included

@@AerialMotionPhotography F/4 is very good also. Not a huge difference between F/5.6 and F/4
Before buying M3: Mavic 3 better because you can change aperture, Air2s you can't.
After buying M3: You shouldn't change aperture, stuck at f5,6 for best quality.

Mavic 3 seem to have more sharpening going on
I feel like the mav 3 is best at -1-.07 at f5 -f8 especially for sunsets, otherwise it always looks over exposed to me. I had the air2s before when it comes to sunsets or low light the mav 3 is much better

Gotta stop down M3 to f5.6, f2.8 will be less sharp, rerun the test even though the air2s is stuck at f2.8

How does the mini 3 pro compare against the S2 and M3 in? I bought the Mini yesterday because of it's weight benefits, but I'm not sure whether I've made the right decision. I was hoping for a bit better image quality for stills. What's your experience?

I just Bought the Mavic 3 cine. I have seen a lot of comparisons and I owned a Mavic 2 pro it was good but the air 2s seems quite good as well!

To be honest i have seen alot of videos saying there is not much differance between Cine and standard.

What should we do with presets??
If you use adobe lightroom for photo editing the presets can be imported so it will add those enhancements to your photos. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m pretty sure the only person to buy it so far is my fiancé and she doesn’t even do photography 🤣

Great ! I use the drone mainly to take photos during the day, but not much for videos, do you recommend going with the Air 2 S ?
I would say the AIR 2S would be great for that!! It’s a great drone and it is very impressive with how it holds up to a drone that costs double the price!!

I would say the Air 2S!! The quality is really close and costs 1/2 the price! Especially if this is your first drone.
If you “think it’s slightly better ,but can’t really tell the difference.” Then why spend $4000 more? Lol. The M3 is not a significant gotta have upgrade over the Air2S. The Air2S shouldn’t be in the conversation but the fact that it is says a lot about both drones. Air2 with RC pro $1700 m3 with RC pro $5000. To similar of results to justify the cost. Seems like no one knows Hasselblad was bought by DJI and it’s a marketing tool. The color standards are obsolete with digital technology Hasselblad never made tiny drone lenses and had no experience,so to slap the H on the drone is a joke.
Very true! I have a night photo comparison coming up soon and with the photos that is where I see the biggest upgrade. But I don’t really do too much night photography.
