I am going to miss this show so much! I play it in the background all the time, eat food watching the episodes and I have seen every clip since I was 15, since season 1. I am so disappointed that they decided to cancel this show and not The view, this show is young, the cast love each other and it is always interesting and positive unlike a lot of daytime shows.

Anyone else take a moment to appreciate how far Jeannie has come? I remember season one with Tamar - her trying to stay positive and gracious and seemed so nervous- and NOW GIRL- NOW- she looks fire- leaning back in her chair confident in Gods glory on her life! She is WINNING!!!!
But she seems to take over Tamar and keep acting like a black girl.Season 1 til 3 she wasn't like this.

I think for him at this stage in his career… he just wanted his Oscar! He overreacted… he takes accountability & is willing to suffer the consequences but him choosing to resign from the academy was more of a get them before they get me situation!
He also said “I want to put the focus back on those who deserve attention for their achievements and allow the Academy to get back to the incredible work it does to support creativity and artistry in film. So, I am resigning from membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and will accept any further consequences the Board deems appropriate”.
So I feel like this is a moment where both parties are able to mutually move forward in a way where this situation should no longer take over their or our lives!

The academy has allowed so many horrible people to take that stage over the years. They’re punishing a black man above and beyond what they would punish anyone else. I find it excessive and ridiculous to punish him like this for his first mistake in all of his years of fame. It’s overkill.
Even before public was tired of Smiths drama because he and his family were too much open about their private life, and people started to dislike them including black people. Now he hit another black man, so no racism has nothing to do with his punishment, Oscars just did what majority of people expected from them.

If you are at a graduation ceremony, and you say/do something offensive, oftentimes, they take away your degree, which is I think way more serious. I think the difference between him and the other nominees is that he broke the rules at the ceremony, which is why there were repercussions. But 10 years is a long time. And tbh, the whole thing is exaggerated.

Harvey Weinstein is in Jail, Kevin spacey is pretty much done from making movies ever again. I don't know how what punishment people are talking about. Will Smith assaulted someone on tv. In front of Chris Rocks daughters then after he got a standing ovation and he got to keep his Oscar. Plus he didn't even have to leave. Seems like Will got off pretty easy.
To me, the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Because it's not just the ban, they're really trying to pile it on this man and snuff out his career over one human moment. Especially considering the depravity they let run rampant in Hollywood. A slap is not the worse thing they or we have seen. If this is the case, then they need to make every abuser, pedo, addict, murderer ect...in Hollywood give their stuff back.

I think it’s important to mention that Harvey Weinstein has 1 Oscar, not 81! There are 81 Oscar wins related to movies linked to his production company, but his name is not on them. That would’ve made him the biggest winner ever at the Oscars… plus you would be taking the credit away from other people who have worked for it and have nothing to do with his crimes. also, there are many other people that have been expelled from the Academy and for much minor reasons, such as Carmine Carini that Adrienne mentioned, which if we’re being honest did nothing compared to Will Smith. I don’t think this punishment hurts him at all. 10 years will go by so fast! He doesn’t even attend every year so he’s probably laughing right now. As for the Oscar, I don’t necessarily think he should give it back, but I wouldn’t have accepted it on the night in the first place, and I would’ve left immediately after the fact.
This is why this show is getting canceled. The ladies used to speak up on issues, but now they're all just sidestepping the issue and talking about other things without actually giving their real opinion.

I guess the punishment fits the crime. In cases like this, its hard to guage what reaction an action deserves. Some think Chris's words warranted a slap on National TV. But what if Will had used a weapon? Would that be a fitting reaction to "defend" his wife against words? It's just best to avoid violence! Or word for word, slap for slap, punch for punch, blowing traffic horn for blowing traffic horn and so on and so forth loll...

I think that we are too judgmental as humans. We love to dissect and judge and persecute when we forget that no amount of money or prestige can hide who we are internally. We all get mad, we all have loss control at some point and having your heartbroken and still trying to save your marriage will make you snap!
