Thanks, i was facing this issue since i updated to the new version day before yesterday. I followed your steps, run as administrator and change the graphic card setting to high performance, and it fix the issue. I had recorded to important meetings but unfortunately these were before setting, thus sound quality is terrible in these recordings. Thanks for the best video to target the correct issue. I watched many videos to fix this but no one addressed the actual root cause of the problem.
I've been getting lag for certain games. Did try your settings solution for Sonic Frontiers, and its working fine, thanks to you. Now I have to check if this works on other games like Devil May Cry 5, where the Graphics is more advanced.
I do not even have the CRF option in my OBS for recording. My options are CBR, CQP, VBR, and Lossless. I read not to use Lossless or CQP for streaming and recording at the same time. After a computer update I have had issues with lagging when recording and streaming at the same time. I am streaming and recording at the same time with a dedicated gaming laptop for only streaming and recording.
I got issue with delay. When I play like a fighting game on Roblox then i get much delay when i press the m1 button and when i record my fps goes lower than 60 and i usually play on 170
I am having an issue with my videos I record! Seems like if I record and long video almost at least 3 or 4 times in that video for about 20 seconds my audio gets real choppy n laggy from the desktop audio & then it goes back fine. Everything else is okay but that lag from desktop audio, any suggestions?
Hey i used the cpu settings and the quality of video is great but the fps looks like it averages from 30-45 fps even when i set it to 60 fps. Not sure if i have to change the CRF or the CPU usage
I'm not entirely sure but I don't think you have a graphics card. Since you say it's an Intel, I'm assuming it's actually your CPU, especially if you're on laptop. You should just use x264 in that case.
Question about changing the power setting to full or maximum quality in advance tab so that obs can use more gpu for the app. Will those be a good additional settings help with no lag. I'm on windows 7 so having a older obs I don't have much options available. I plan to upgrade my computer.
I am 4090 Rtx with high end pc and the quality while recording is good but it’s like playing 10fps it can’t record anything what can I do to fix ? And am playing on 2560x1440 help me plz
Really awesome video, bro. OBS could have a HUD to show when we are or are not recording in full screen. Just like Action and Bamdcam have. This way, on the game screen, we would know when the recording is running or paused. If this exists I still don't know.
@@poorerspokesman17 CBR 50k and also forgot to mention P7 doesn't actually beat P6 so P6 quality tuning, high quality keyframe 2s gpu 0 max b frame 2 with encoder H265 this is what you should have unless if you have a gpu that can record in AV1, check eposvox video for that he's more reliable than me but CQP and P7 are scams

This proper helped me I was getting 7-15fps before. Now getting 50fps recordings Looking clean, Thank you so much 🙏

You should try changing both. Maybe try changing the CPU to Speed or Balanced and set the CRF to a higher number
@@stephencgn alright thank you (edit: it worked changing both and balancing it)

NGL CQP is a scam since you need lvl 14 for perfect quality while it so laggy it legit freezes the video. DON'T USE THIS SETTING !
Thank u so now what setting you Recommend
