Do all these OBS settings work for RUclips as well as Twitch?
You're killing it on all these new uploads Hammer! Keep it up!
Thanks dude! Going to be a big year for us here!
@@hammerdance Fingers Crossed! 😄
helped me a lot! now both my recording and stream quality are a lot better 🙏
Been having so much issues troubleshooting obs and major major pixel tears after very movement of a game. This has been the best setting by far without noticing and pixelated images when moving and I couldn't be anymore happier. +rep
i have been so frustrated with my streams and recordings (i play taiko) and i couldn't find out for the life of me why it was blurry, this helped, thanks!
Woah, WOAH, this actually worked for me. After years of casually messing around with streaming, and being constantly frustrated that no matter what I did I could never get my streams looking anywhere close to how clear other people's streams looked, this was all I had to do? Really? Thank you!
Thanks man this helped alot, best tutorial so far as the others i looked at did nothing. Cheers!
This helped a lot. Thank you!
Do u still recommend I stream at 1080p60 even if I am not a partner on Twitch? If i go higher than 6000kbps, wont I drop frames?
Hi Hammer, How to remove the backgound sound of your mouse and keyboard in the recording or streaming. I did adjust the volume but still.
helped a lot, appreciate it
literally couldnt find my answer with google this video saved me a headache tysm
but if we are affiliate should be just sent to 6k? even if we are streaming at 720p 60f?
I assume this works close to the same for both Twitch and Kick perhaps, am trying to use both alternately.
i've been streaming at 8k for years now.. its shocking people haven't took advantage of this at 936p
So u recommend I stream at 936 instead of 1080?
@@straw242_ absolutely! it is better for games that utilize a lot motion and even higher fidelity games with foliage it reduces artifacts by quite a bit and there isn’t any noticeable difference or loss rather in quality.
Same! It’s the best 🔥
@@Planars u mean 1600x936?
@@plsmannow217 1600 would be proper with 900 as that would be 16:9 aspect you want 1644x936 for proper scaling and maintaining quality better than 1080 for twitch
What's the best bitrate for multi stream to two platforms?
Thank you so much bro, my stream no longer has that blurry look anymore.
Glad I could help!
testing it out tonight! keeping fingers crossed.
Thanks alot for this im gonna see how it looks now
Exstreamly helpful!
What is the situation with AMD encoder?
is it just that ? so if twitch recommend is 720p 60fps 4500kbps or so set it like that, so it won't blurry ? or should i set 720p 60fps 8000kbps instead ? less blurry ?
Hello, you said the bitrate need to be 8000 not above. Does it imply video + audio bitrate or only video bitrate ?
What about Downscale Filter? Does it have any impact?
Also I stream at 864p high motion games, that are downscaled from 1440p. Maybe its better if I downscale to 1080p? Or should I go native 1080p screen resolution to avoid downscaling?
Please let me know what you figured out! I also have a 1440p monitor and need help in downscaling that! 250 down 25 up. I7-10700f paired with a 3070!

What if I am not streaming on Twitch?? But instead the Custom part? How do I still get ride of the blurry frames so I shows more crisp when I stream?
Is this recommended for a single PC setup as well?
Brother please help me I set all setting but stream not quality if possible then you check it please with anydisk
Can these settings work for less frame demanding games?
Interesting. I tried something similar but was having issues with viewers saying “stream keeps buffering for me”. I’ll try it again and see if i have did results.
what were your results? My stream is blurry still and im just wondering why
In obs stream labs I don’t see the “ignore twitch limitations “ option?
Will these settings work on Live Streaming on RUclips?
I can use some serious help. Been trying to add chat to the game I'm playing (skyrim). Does not seem to want to add so I can see the chat. If you have a video about it, or can make one. I would be thankful. (that is how I found your videos, looking up obs and setups.)
I am going to give this a try. I will let you know!
Any Luck
Thank you sir ❤
On my streams lately (obs wasn't detecting my integrated camera so I tried updating it and I tried resetting it including settings in case a setting was messing with it) all of a sudden my stream quality is terrible even at 1080p, lemme just say this 1. No matter what my bitrate, fps, resolution, etc. is at, the stream gets extremely delayed and had a ton of buffering, and by extremely delayed I mean like, a half hour delayed.
As for the quality, well, the best I can explain it, the footage looks chop-fuzzy (fuzzy but chopped up, as in one part may be extremely fuzzy and then a milimeter over it's noticeably less fuzzy) I don't mean the streaming is choppy, just the quality if you know what I mean. It's basically how a video looks where there's video corruption, except unlike corruption, it doesn't cut out a part of the stream.
How do I fix this?
Hey I try your settings but when I went back to watch the stream and do some recording it still look pixie and burry any idea how to fix it?
Basic PC set for streaming?
question hammer if you go 2560x1440 will that work?
ok this is nice, but explain me why with the same settings still blury a bit?
thanks for this video i want it you are the best
I can’t even stream in 1080p on RUclips with my 11mbps upload speed I’ve tried everything, is my upload speed too slow? Please help bro it’s frustrating.
Trying it out today! lets take a look :D
Would this be the same with youtube?
I did that but i still get blurry at 8k bitrate. What do I do wrong?
Do these settings work for YT?
will try this to fix my stream. Im getting frustrated on bad resolution stream for my apex legends vods... :(
new subs here youre thje bessttt ! Thanks
Does this work for recordings too? I assume, but I want to ask to be sure.
thanks dude the last few streams were damn blurry it was so annoying
i still have crazy blur everytime i move in wz2. the game looks fine. tried cnr and the other one cqp or whatever, no change, twitch tester said everything is fine. obs crashes randomly sometimes.
off topic but would you recommend using the regular x264 encoder or using my amd hw h.264 avc
Are you running a single pc or dual pc setup?
@@hammerdance im running single pc
@@flipusan7918 I would use hw h.264 avc
thanks ill test it out!
does it work on youtube streaming too?
I have questiin i put my bitrate 4500
But when i go live n check my stat suddenly bitrate change to 9000++ how to fix it? Pls help me😢
i wish i had the itnernet speed to use 8k bitrate... i can barely use 4k
any way to do this on streamlabs OBS?????
So what if your trying 4k streams do you go higher? Or different entirely?
At that point youre just wasting your resources for a resolution that doesn't work
is there a way to do this with streamlabs or do i have to switch to obs
How do you set your 4k60 mk.2 settings inside Nvidia? 144Hz? Also display, full or acpect ration, display or gpu for 4k60? as I got it in extended mode using dual pc... Can only do 120 in OBS, but do you set 120 in both OBS gaming projection and streaming... Or do you just leave it at 60fps for gaming... I just find my when i view my capture picture on my streaming PC to be slightly choppy at times, with no effect to stats of dropped frame, but still looks like there's weird stutter or almost the mouse is to powerful or something, its annoying that I feel it also shows up on stream and recording.. I'm using 3060ti 5950x 1440p 4k60pro mk.2 stand alone streaming pc
My streaming pc is i7-8700 2060super and my network is 1T upload 8000bitrate, but why my stream still blurry?
is my spec bad?
aye hammer would this the best bitrate for youtube as well? I was running at 9K and noticed that my webcam is the most clear and then my game has its moments of clarity when its slow but then as soon as an action scene happens it becomes blurry. I notice I cap out at 1080p as well which is fine for a live stream but it definitely doesnt look like it. if you get a chance let me know sir! Greatly appreciate the content as always homie!

u can set it higher for youtube since theres no bitrate limits unlike twitch

i will try and tell you
Okay this is a good video but you have to keep in mind Kbps is your internet upload speed. How to check it is go online and look up internet connection test. You can do the one google has and your going to want to pay attention to the upload speed. Mine is around 3.61 Kbps. So I set my bitrate to 3,000. Now on fast movement it is really blurry. So you want to have a strong connecton now when I am on lan connection I have an upload speed of about 21.6 so that means that I can set my bitrate to 21,600 but incase my internet gets weak for a minute I have it set at 20,000 and it is crisp so say you have a 5.1 upload speed, I would det my bitrate speed to 5,000 and it can be really smooth and I set it to the closest lower digit to it so like if I have an upload speed of 21.8 I am going to set my bitrate to 20,000 so My internet has some room to move so Kbps is always your internet speed.
With twitch can you have it at 8000 does it work for Affiliates. I'm pretty sure it only works for partner streamer Only the high of the Bitright
Confirmed it does work for affiliates.
@@hammerdance I am trying this today brother
@@Haitiann how did it go?
@@alxroalxro7898 bro…. My stream looks soo good it’s insane and I have no delay check it out and see how clear and smooth it looks
Worked great for me and I’m affiliate , thanks so much for these settings , changed my stream majorly !
Idk what I’m doing wrong, whenever I move fast, my stream is still blurrydusssss so. Even when I have the bitrate at 6k only for 720P at 60
Hey I have bad internet connection and I stream on obs I have something that can help you if you go up to profile on the top left and click new it will in improve a bit
My games and streams get buffered and laggy when I did this because of my internet speed. So I lowered my bitrate to 1700kbps and my games and streams are smooth
😮😮 😲
nice video
Thank you!
8000 bitrate is only for partners. Limit for everyone else is 6000. Right. Non-partner streamers, including affiliates, are not guaranteed to provide transcoding options on their channels.
This means, it can be, your viewers don't get the quality options, and maybe only see a black screen, because their connection can't handle your 1080p 8000 bitrate stream.
You will lose these viewers. Non partners should stay at 6000 bitrate, and maybe even stream at 720p with that bitrate. Way less artifacts in the stream.
Yes, this will look a bit unsharp in fullscreen, but you get used to it, and in display chat mode, it will look sharp. Also many are watching with their smartphone, so.
nah 8000 bitrate for everyone
@@abcdebibi3649 You are not guaranteed the transcoding options, so people can choose lower resolutions, if you are no partner.
Affiliates get a bit higher chance, but also not guaranteed. So good luck with 8000, when nobody discovered you yet.
How do you think this translates on youtube?
Not well as i have learned
what if I use 3440x1440 60 fps?
What about RUclips streaming ?
YT doesnt have limitations towards bitrate so thats all depending on you and your content + hardware
I changed it and now my streams dont save after i end them now
My streams are still blurry, no matter what i do its still blurry. I really dont know why, my internet is good, my pc is good, my bitrate is at 8k and it still looks bad. And ive seen people with a bitrate of 5 to 6k with a sharp and crisp quality. Ive messed around with all the settings in obs for a month now and still bad, im with an ethernet cable aswell btw.
hammers up? that's a towelliee line for his hammer squad o7
Does this apply to RUclips as well?
(Great vids btw 👍)
RUclips doesn’t allow source quality for streams currently, so this particular method only works for twitch.
@@hammerdance Okok...
Do you stream on YT from time to time? If so, what are the Output settings you have seen work best??
I don't have these settings
This was what I was looking for, but have to test it still. That being said, calling adjusting deliberately adjustable settings a "hack" is rather cringe inducing, although pretty much every time "hack" is used besides when referring to computer hacking, it sounds super cringe.
8k didnt work, still grainy
It did happen to me today....wait,yesterday like about 2 hours ago haha,my gta looked as if i have 1mb to stream again,"good old times" haha,i will test this but when you use 8000 you loose some frames i almost have 250mb upload,in fact is 300mb but since my family use it to see tv i can only handle the rest of it.
8000 is only giving me 2160p60 (source) :(
i thought the bitrate depends on your internet upload speed... if you set it to 8000, then it means your upload averages 16
my internet averages 10 upload, so i run my bitrate at 5000.
Yes it does, what is 10 upload? You mean 10mbps upload speed? My upload speed is 11mbps and I can’t do 1080p at 60 at all.
I thought you can’t go over 6000 on Twitch?
is it clickbait or it is just me that doesnt have the ignore streaming service setting rec
This option has been patched out of OBS afaik.
Hey, could you take a look at my stream on my twitch channel and let me know why my video quality is changing when ever I move around?
still lloks pixelated to me, i have tried everything
8000 bitrate is only for partners. Limit for everyone else is 6000. Right.
does NOT work
Y
8000 is not for everyone all off the time
My upload speed is only 5.6, so I can't do 8000 bitrate
Am i a hacker now?
This didnt fix the issue at all!
uh so what why wouldnt i run my BITRATE lower? You never explained why? 6000 is much better...
why is uping the bitrate called a "hack"?? Whats the next "hack"?? Use a program called "OBS" and you are able to livestream?
Take a shot every time he moves his hand
Thank you so much this was so useful 😭🩵
