We just got our chinchilla 5 days ago and he already jumps on our hands and arms and is slowly making his way to our shoulders but I was wondering if it would be ok to wheel them out the a different area of the house during the day? We keep him in our bedroom and I was wondering if we can wheel him to our office during the day while we work just to try and improve our bond with him... we have the critter nation so his cage is on wheels. Or will that be too scary for them?
Id say try and keep the cage in one spot when possible until they have adjusted then you could probably start being a little more free with where you choose to move the cage.
Love your videos
I prefer an "open top" bath for the chins to protect their lungs.
Good point. I think I will need to switch now that you mention that!
How much water should your chinchilla drink ? I have a large water bottle but he hasn’t drank much from it . Roughly how much should he be drinking?
Should I get another chinchilla? Mine is 8 months old. Is it safe to add another one for my Chinchilla?

I put a cooling stone on each level, in case she gets warm from zooming around.
Dont they chew a hole in netting ?
Great advice, however the plastic bath isn’t good if she chews it I’m sure your aware but just a reminder!
Yep. She isn't much of a chewer with the bath house but definitely appreciate the heads up!
