I am happy to have played this in the Arcade (When arcades were still around) And when i heard this music back then, I was like...HOLY SH*T THEY GOT THIS MUSIC! Im just happy that they released for the home systems, but nothing like playing the arcade of this game. Long live original Arcades! I'm 37yrs old by the way, damn how i miss just calling friends and say lets meet at "X" and spend all day at the arcade.
I genuinely was not expecting the dragon from mm2 to be in this game when i played it recently. It was a pleasant surprise and the fact it has wily stage ones kickass music makes it all the more cooler
Only 22 kits were made in the US. They were made on demand by Capcom so if a customer wanted one Capcom would make a kit for them. They did do a full release in Japan for Rockman 2 the Power Fighters.
Me playing mm2 for the first time: Wow, for 8-bit standerds this song rocks. Thinks to himself: I wonder if the power fighters remix is good. Listens: (Jaw on the floor) HOLY CRAP! This song is amazing.
I actually like this remix of the Robotic Dragon's theme. I still remember how the Dragon used to intimidate me when I was a child when I played Megaman 2 for the first time in 1988.
"X, there's one last upgrade for you, but... It's way back in the old ruins of a skull shaped castle. Once belonged to an evil scientist. It's long abandoned, but some of the old machines are stirring again. You up for it?"
I know Zero wasn't activated yet after Wily had finished building him, but I can imagine if he was in this game, he'd slice that Dragon right in half with his saber.
I cant belibe they will remix this song again for super smash bros wii u/3ds!It better be good and from what weve heard its also pretty cool!IM PUTTING THIS AS A SONG FOR SSBB PROJECT M ITS JUST TOO DAMN EPIC!
_"[Nananana], remembering the dreams that we had_ _The possibilities were endless_ _We all believed in su-per-po-wers_ _(flying through the wind, tryin' to find your own HEAVEN!)"_ Sorry, I listened to Rockman Holic too much. 😅 I don't even care if these lyrics are wrong.
Drake Silvos I didn't know about this, just the original, and the I saw a video referencing this song and I thought WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD OF THIS GAME BEFORE???
It was only released in North America and Europe in Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the PS2 back in 2004. It's not a surprise that you haven't heard of it.
@@MrZeSpy What’s even more surprising is that only 22 original copies of the game were ever produced in America for the CPS2. They are incredibly rare.
This game was made for five regions Japan, America, Europe, Asia, and Brazil. The game got a full release in Japan as Rockman 2 the Power Fighters but did not get a full release in the other countries. The kits were made on demand by Capcom and if a customer requested a kit Capcom would make one for them. Only 22 copies were ever made in the US, they are incredibly rare.
@@mariodykstra6555 The Japanese version is a lot easier to get. I’m not 100% sure but I think they produced 250 Japanese kits for Rockman 2. The American version was only made on demand, so if an arcade operator wanted one they would have to order it first and Capcom would make it. Apparently they only made 22 kits of the American version. Im sure if they were able to find one they would put it out on their floor.
How a Remix should be done, Don't stray to much from the Original (Keep the same Melody and overall flow) and Add something a bit more Modern (Like the Guitars near the midpoints.) And Make it something that both captures old and new fans.

This is my favorite remix of Megaman 2, Wily Stage 1's music, and I've rocked to it for fifteen years now..
Say whatever you want, but you can't deny that the sound team went HARD.
I genuinely was not expecting the dragon from mm2 to be in this game when i played it recently. It was a pleasant surprise and the fact it has wily stage ones kickass music makes it all the more cooler
0:41 - 1:12 my favorite part of the song :)
Hoard EG 0:00-5:06 My favorite part
David 5:06 you fbsu6@
Used in the credits of the Legacy Collection!
+Kyrion Red Oh! boy, now I have other reason to buy it!!!!!!, on february, when it comes for 3ds.
Dang your right!
Sounds like they used Mega Man X2/3 instruments & make them in higher quality.
the guitars from X2 and 3 are used in capcom arcade soundfonts
_Y e s_
@@megatonkick0079 That explains why Capcom reused those soundfonts for Breath of Fire II and various Disney games.
backwards. the cps is a higher quality rip of an already-existing sample. snes is the most compressed form
It’s also in a different key.
Some copies were released in the US, but supplies were limited. There was probably only like 2,000 copies.
Only 22 kits were made in the US. They were made on demand by Capcom so if a customer wanted one Capcom would make a kit for them. They did do a full release in Japan for Rockman 2 the Power Fighters.
I could listen to this theme for hours on end and not get tired of it. I've done that before grinding for extra lives and such.
If only Power fighters made the mech dragon chase you like it did in MM2...Then this theme would be even MORE fitting and epic.
This is one of the best tracks in the Mega Man series.
this is one of the epic and most favorite songs of all time
seriously one of the best soundtrack songs ive heard in a while.
Ugh, cps2 tracks are so, so good
WOO! Capcom made its own awesomest remix. They can do no wrong!
When you notice the theme song is different you know Mecha Dragon is going to ripped u to deadth and he isn't fucking around anymore
Me playing mm2 for the first time: Wow, for 8-bit standerds this song rocks. Thinks to himself: I wonder if the power fighters remix is good. Listens: (Jaw on the floor) HOLY CRAP! This song is amazing.
La verdad, fue un gran acierto el colocar este magnífico Boss con el tema mas GOD de la franquicia
Big improvement upon the original imo
CPS2 makes everything better.
Roge9 deadpool
It feels like they just made it less compressed and added some blow in to the mix. Just listening makes me feel like I did some
I actually like this remix of the Robotic Dragon's theme. I still remember how the Dragon used to intimidate me when I was a child when I played Megaman 2 for the first time in 1988.

추억은 억천만
the megaman 2 version: THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME! this version: *dies of epicness*
Whata fuuuuuuuuckk
I loove this Dragon and this theme too!!
This is Epic this song should be add to ssb4
epic battle + epic music = explosion of awesomness
I love the Dragons...But Mech Dragon is my Fav!!..and his Theme Rocks!!!!..The Best Boss of Wily Fortress!!!
Thanks for the upload!!!
My childhood. This also gives me Megaman 2 Complete Works vibes
wish the first 3 games had full soundtracks like 4-6 did. they probably would’ve used this for Wily 1/2
super sigue el ritmo de la original
BEST.
MEGAMAN.
BGM.
EVER.
this is my favorite megaman video ever
Just plain epic x3
This is by far, the best mega man music to ever be created and ever shall be. Better then the original.
Try to drag this boss fight out just to hear this awesome music lol
in the megaman anniversary collection on PS2 and Gamecube this and power battle were unlockable bonus features
simplyperfect
Imagine if this was Megaman theme in MvC1 ❤️
i always have to think of "I wanna be the guy" when i see this mech dragon, since this is where i saw it first.
NOW theres a version of this song I like.Better than the origional.
I know Zero wasn't activated yet after Wily had finished building him, but I can imagine if he was in this game, he'd slice that Dragon right in half with his saber.
Who agrees that Mecha Dragon is the best creation Dr. Wily ever created? Next to the Devil Line of robots?
I agree, the Mecha Dragon is one of the most iconic bosses in Mega Man History
URUTARAMAN URUTARAMAN SEVEN!
Last comment here, another good one is Bubble Man music from this series. They did a great job with that as well
For the new Smash Bros. They used this song in Megaman's reveal trailer.
Didn't happen dude mega man may have got in but the theme of his did changed because power fighters wasn't as noticable
i red your comment and then looked at the pic of him then died laughing your totally right
EPIC GLORIOUS AND MISTIC ARRIVED TO WILLY´S FORT!!
this is an AWSOME REMIX!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Dragonange18 its an arcade game, thats why you never heard of it. it was in the megaman anniversary collection though.

Sorry, I listened to Rockman Holic too much. 😅 I don't even care if these lyrics are wrong.
This should've been Mega Man's theme in the first Marvel VS Capcom game.
Epic.
If they had to put one Megaman theme in a SSB game, make it this one. Speaking of which folks, this theme fits very well on Port Town Aero.
I'm pretty sure if someone's computer was upside down, they would put it back up again before rating it.
AWSOME REMIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kimi gakure ta yuuki wa
OKKUSEN MAN! OKKUSEN MAN!
Sugi sarishi kisetsu wa Dramatico!
why did it stop at 2:28?
where did they come up with robot dragon for mega man my youtube icon is a dragon am a dragon man in soul
@rpurser98 LOL I remember that character. N64Mario made that for MUGEN, didn't he?
Sad that I had never even heard of this game ;_;.
I must get it. >.
Even he can't climb stairs this fast.
@xit77 Too epic for this boss? this is a remix of the original megaman 2 wily stage theme WHERE THIS BOSS APPEARED so, it fits him perfectly
4 people mistook the like button for the dislike button.

Dragon Sigma Boss Fight!!!!!
By the way, if you have MAME you can get the rom ;)
I think it will be.
You get: DUH NUH NUH NUNUH NUH NUH NUH NUH NUH OKKUSENMAN OKKUSENMAN
Mega Man: O_O
True. In most cases regarding a machine, it has no gender, so it's neither a male or female. Needless to say robots usually have simple programing.
Actually, I just press up and jump because you get an upgrade to make you super jump.
if you remixed the mm2 1st and 2nd wily stage with mmX insturments, you would get this EXACT thing.
No they used dr Willy's castle from megaman 2 this is known as mech dragon fight
yeah mech dragon got the theme. better than the killing room -_-
Thumbs up to the ones who referenced Brentalfloss
HA! YES!!! OKUSENMAAAN!
why de **** would people go to a song and dislike it?
i love to fight that dragon
Ultra man 7! Ultra man!
The people who hate this track has been burned to the bone >:D

rockman, blues, forte, and duo disliked this video.
@megaman72xx He floats, he doesn't walk!
@Sum1Important if you want the answer, search up Mecha dragon survival :P
atleast this thing had a decent idea chase you over a deatb pit on narrow platforms he may be fat but ya gotta admit hes got brains
@nintendude8VG so right
Also the point of weighing two tons worth of whatever Wily used to create him.
And he's fat.
