The one difference between Normal and Difficult that I can recall is Air Man is a lot harder.

I think the intros to the bosses in MM2 are more sinister than MM1, which is what may make their powers seem more sinister. Fireman in MM1 just does a pose, while Heatman's whole body catches on fire in his intro. The music for MM1's intros is also a little more subdued, and they have the point total come up for a Stage Clearing bonus. Meanwhile, MM2's intro music is more intense, and there's no focus taken off the bosses for a bonus point total. Just wanted to share my opinion on this one.

Love watching but its just a tease because while I love MegaMan Im awful at them, I have beaten Castlevania multiple times but I can't seem to beat a single stage on any of the NES games, so your videos are making me want to play them again but I know its hopeless lol

@alexshadowfax1119 Lol.. you should play them. There are some games that I failed miserably at in my childhood that did much better on and beaten in my adult life. It's never too late. And thank you.
