The background music on God of War 1 main menu starts with the word ekdikisi (εκδίκηση) which means vengeance in greek.

the ghost of sparta is the only main menu where it shows his tattoo instead of the scar
because the tattoo is linked with deimos

Let’s not forget In the Ghost of Sparta menu Kratos’s face is on the left for the first time showing his tattoo which is resembling Deimos who he seeks through the story. ❤❤❤

I actually wanted to upload a top 5 music. But then i thought about and i was like "let's make it next week with some cheese on top"

could kratos “struggling” to cut down the tree actually just be him properly felling it? like creating a proper angle to make it fall where he wishes it to like normal lumberjacks have to?
Or perhaps trees with protection staves on them are really strong and Kratos DID actually have to use some force
