I Tested the World’s CHEAPEST Battery Sprayer

  • And To My Surprise… It’s Actually Not That Bad!
In this Video, we will show you the world’s Cheapest Battery Sprayer. The SideKing Battery Sprayer is currently on sale on Amazon for $38.00. It features a 1.35 gallon spray tank, battery powered handle, and adjustable spray nozzles.
This sprayer is battery powered which is preferred for more than just convenience, its greatest strength is its able to spray at a constant PSI which is extremely important when making highly precise applications such as the commercial grade herbicides like the ones we use on the channel.
This sprayer also has a stainless steel wand, you will typically find this feature on higher end sprayers such as the Dewalt backpack sprayer , Milwaukee m12 sprayer and the Echo backpack sprayer.
This sprayer also has the ability to customize its sprayer nozzles. The nozzles that come with sprayer are fine for general gardening or to use as a sprayer for plants but if you will be applying liquid lawn fertilizer or will be using it as a weed sprayer with herbicides, they will need to be upgraded. The best way to upgrade this sprayer is with a Teejet nozzle. After a bit of testing I came to the conclusion that the best nozzle to use with this sprayer is the blue Teejet XR8003VS. Once attached, it will spray an 80 degree fan at 14 PSI and will take 6 min and 15 seconds to spray 1 gallon of water. Keep in mind this is half the PSI of more expensive sprayers such as the sprayers plus 105ex I normally use.
Overall this sprayer is a much better budget option than buying a pump sprayer but for heavy duty lawn care jobs and larger lawns, you will be much better off buying a sprayer with a higher PSI and a larger tank capacity.

Welcome back! I recently got a very similar sprayer. Probably the same with different stickers.
Only tip.. open and close the lid occasionally as you spray. The pump will cause the tank to vacuum, slightly reducing the output as it tries to suck more out. I plan on melting a check valve in the top of tank to fix that issue

My lawn care season doesn’t truly start till I watch the first Princess Cut video of the year! I’m still trying to decide on an battery sprayer for outdoor use. I don’t have an outdoor sprayer yet and my indoor is just a small hand pump that doesn’t hold much and gets annoying fast. I think that this sprayer you reviewed would also make a great indoor sprayer for houseplants and it’s actually affordable like you mentioned and the price is part of the reason I haven’t decided on a battery sprayer yet and most if not all are too much/big for indoor use but not this one

@A Nony Mouse Good question, I just checked mine and it didn't look like it could take a standard tip but a did some searching to confirm and in the process found this video where they show it is possible to use a standard flat tip, requires you to buy a couple of parts though : ruclips.net/video/fFQTai5JBfI/видео.html

Thanks for your thorough review. Really informative and enjoyed it. Also, is there a way to modify to make the wand longer? I'm looking to make it around 36" long for my dad. Any tips would be greatly appreciate it.

Love your content George. I personally only have a 2 gal hand pump sprayer. Some off brand name. Still haven’t pulled the trigger on a battery powered, but would love to give it a try.

@@danmurphy946 nice! Have you had any issues with leakage?
A big reason I am looking at the m12 is that the pump is on top of the tank vs on the bottom like the m18 version

I have two sprayers, Habor Frieght Backpack ( just broke) and the cheap 2 gallon one from Home Depot, was looking to upgrade and found your video

  • @heavymechanic2
    @heavymechanic2 Год назад

I looked at this cheap sprayer and the one LCN sells. I currently use a throw-away 1-gal pump sprayer. I own a 4-gal backpack with a manual pump, its hard to carry with 30 lbs on your back, been looking at 2-gal battery sprayers (a chinease backpack setup). Also have a 20-gal tow sprayer, thats what I use to Spray&Prey. I bought an Echo backpace sprayer, its still in the box.. The reason for multiple sprayers is fertilizer on organic vegetable gardening, I spray stanky fish juice free of herbicides.. A backpack sprayer is like Ghost-Busters.

Thanks for the video I think the nozzle you linked in the description is wrong, I got the xr8003 and it works great, the version of this sprayer I got had the correct size nozzle holder. This thing is so much better than a pump sprayer

    George,
First of all I don’t have a sprayer cause YES, they are expensive and I didn’t know which brand to purchase when I get the funds. So I took a picture of the brands you put on your video and Ill look up the current prices. Thanks and keep doing what you do !

Thank you I never know how to use things or were to get them and when I get a paid handyman they make me buy real expensive things for them to use to work with snd then they keep them because I more than likely won’t use them again I’m told but guess what I do need them again. How do you take the spray tip off to change it? Anyway thank you again for the informative video

Thanks for your video. I just opened my new Lawnful sprayer that I got off of Amazon, and I can't get it to spray. The sprayer is making noise and the lights are on, but nothing is coming out. I see on the reviews that others have had this problem, but I haven't been able to find the company website to get help. The product seems to be quality, and has well written instructions for assembly, but not for troubleshooting.
