so the breathometer thing actually turned out to be a disaster. They got into a whole bunch of legal trouble by claiming it was 100% accurate and ended up getting sued like crazy.

The reason you never see her invest is because you only watch the pitches on youtube with catchy titles instead of watching the full episodes. Barbara has pretty much the same amount of deals as Robert and Lori. Kevin has the least. I'm pretty sure Barbara has the second most shark tank updates. @@jbd4365 not really stupid. If the numbers and sales aren’t there, it just doesn’t make sense to invest. There’s hundreds of thousands of cool and unique ideas out in the world. Some extremely practical. But for the shark tank, they just care about if the item has the sales to show the demand.

I didn't realize the scrub daddy started out on Shark Tank! I used them when I was living in the dorms in college. They're so cute and work super well.

Problem is his figures are very outdated. For example The last one (Scrub daddy) has made well over $130 million in sales as of January 2017. Also he has new products which are most successful like scrub mummy..

The breathometor was a failure actually. Some governmental association made them refund all customers and stopped them from selling the product due to inaccurate advertising. They said it was tested by a government testing facility which was inaccurate and so was the product.
if you need a portable breathalyzer, you probably need to stop drinking.

Reggie_bringit but don’t you think it would be a good thing for these addicts to try to be safe? It should be an industry standard for a breathalyzer to be done before your car can start. Anything that can be done to protect the driver and all other motorists should be done.

As a Shark Tank fan, I watched each of the business owners’ pitch in this video and observed their true drive and passion for their product. I think this was one of the reasons why they all became successful in their own unique way. And I’m sure blood, sweat, and tears weren’t far behind.

@J. St true some people dont mind a regular 8-5. I personally love doing everyrhing on my own. I can't stand being supervised by someone who is not even above intellectual avarage. I've had good leaders and bad leaders and still can't compare to being on my own, working my own hours, doing my own finances, planning my monthly budget for the company.

One thing I realized after playing around with social media ads is that it doesn't matter how good your idea is unless you can reach the target audience. You can make millions selling toenail clippers for cats if you have a good marketing. That is the only reason why some of these people succeeded AFTER appearing on the show and not before that. And that's why every single one of us is bombarded by ads every second of our waking lives and it will only get worse in the future.
*Sharks love EQITY. I like when one person pitches their dream and sells controlling interest in their company. Sharks love these company's, cause they run to the bank and sell the equity, get their money back, immediately.*.
