Thank you for helping people navigate the different tools and products that help us get professional results! I have a Fuji Q4 Platinum HVLP setup and have done lots of cabinet work with Ben Moore Advance. I feel like the HVLP has a tough time pushing that material unless I thin it almost 20% and have considered using my Graco 490 with either HEA or FFLP tip to get better atomization. Outside of pump/tip recommendation I saw your video recommending Lacquer finishes. My local SW stores looked at me like I had 2 heads when I asked for some of it. I guess EPA requirements won’t let them sell it in stores here (VA), but I would love to be able to work with some of it. I’m really trying to dial in a product and spray method here, and outside of oil products like BM Satin Impervo, it looks like I need to accept these newer waterborne hybrid products and either upgrade my HVLP or go back to the airless. Thoughts? You guys have really changed the final product that we are delivering our clients. We are remodelers, and paint is a big part of that, so thank you for all of your help, and for putting together one of the best resources on RUclips! This is like my college education and I am very grateful that you guys take so much time to produce these wonderful videos!
I got questions and figured I would ask at the most recent video. How does one condition paint brushes. Eg home depot purdy brushes? I am asking what product works best and what exactly is it doing? My brushes feel dry and frizzy. Since I got your attention. How does one make a roll of tape last? I constantly find half used rolls that have dried out.
Conditioning brushes. Home depot has a brush conditioner that's a packet that you add water to and it helps recondition brushes with latex built up on them. The conditioner will destroy china bristle brushes. I always comb and steel brush my brushes and spin them dry prior to storage.
My Graco gun had not been used for a long long time. I recently started using it and all the screwes and bolts that connects to the gun we're stuck I couldn't twist the screws it had hardened. Having hard time unscrewing bolts. What do u recommend I use or do to get the bolts loosened? I tried Wd40 but still stuck. Any advice?
lil c's saves a lot of time getting the product on, you would usually have to ‘backbrush’ even if you brush it on to get it all looking even, so spraying will take like 1/4 of the time to get the product on so you can backbrush

What is the point of spraying if you have to back brush? Why not just brush in the first place?
