I’ve had the manual crimp for years and it’s very tough to fit in most spots I just recently purchased a pro press tool and I got the viega jaws and I’m gonna be selling my manual kits
How do think the Viega fittings/Pex compare to the Uponor system? Also there is a 2” minimum pipe length on the Uponor system... does the Viega system have a similar minimum size? Ron
so basically its functionally the same as a standard crimp fitting but the crimp ring and the fitting is all one piece instead of separate pieces. I definitely like this better than standard crimps since it simplifies the system but ill take an expansion style system such as f1960 style fittings (Uponor) or f2080 style fittings (Rehau Everloc, Sioux Chief) over this any day to avoid the flow restriction that comes with any system that doesn't use expansion based fittings.
I just wish there wasn't a fitting flow reduction. Just like regular standard pex crimp guys are not sizing stuff right and long runs have low flow. I'm debating to buy a viega Milwaukee press tool or totally converting to uponor. The problem is expansion pex is very rare in this region and I do a ton of service so I doubt it would be that practical. DIYERS love their sharkbite branded pex LOL!
Viega system is fricken awesome.
how do you remove fitting from pipe

Is the Pureflow system meant for only connecting Pex A, Pex B, or both?

ok, and how to remove it? I tried and it's impossible
Want copper press to pex fitting, also jaws for refrigeration fittings
I've only use the viaga SS with the battery crimped , just had to knock the burr off so it doesn't cut the o-ring

Pex press is Pex B tubing?
Are pro press fittings and these fittings and tools compatible?
Uponor is the way to go
So is it the same as a pro press?
They're pretty similar but Pro press is for copper pipes
How do you remove the frosted tubing layer?
Behold, superior German engineering
Is the pipe, pex B?
