No. You can only have one KDP account. If you try to open more than one they will close all your accounts. You can still publish low content books but you could publish under a pen name if you didn't want them associated with your written works.

I'm trying to update all of the author info and photo, but as far as I can get is the "Welcome to Author Central - select book(s) - Enter name, ASIN, etc." When I select the book, it states that I've already claimed this book. Unfortunately, if you unpublish it and re-publish as a new book then you will lose all the sales history of the book you unpublished. So you will, in effect be starting with a brand new book. If it the same book but with a new cover or interior then that should be ok.

I launched about 50 journal notebooks last year but never get any sales so I wasn’t really active in publishing. Now looking back I realized that my main title and keywords are the issues that I have to fix (I’m confident about my book cover and interior). If I unpublish these books and change the main title, subtitles and keywords; and republish again as a new book, will Amazon flag this and not allow this? Or is it better to make some changes to the cover as well so that it looks like a new book to Amazon? Would really appreciate your reply and advice on this. Thank you 🙏

Just watch because they only allow three author pages. I need to find out how to remove one. But I expect I'll have to contact them about that.

There is nothing to make it appear elsewhere. if should appear on the book listing at some point. if not, maybe ask KDP support.

Give it a little time. That's quite common straight after publishing. If it continues to stay like that then contact KDP support.

On my author page can I group books by category. For example "Kids Activity books", "adult activity books", etc.?

Should or could I have different accounts
No. You can only have one KDP account. If you try to open more than one they will close all your accounts. You can still publish low content books but you could publish under a pen name if you didn't want them associated with your written works.

Yes, you need to wait until they approve it before you can proceed. And yes, you need at least one book published to utilize it.

You're not able to do either with KDP unfortunately.

You can't after it has been published. You would have to unpublish it, create a new listing and publish it as a new book.
