Publishing KDP no content, low content and medium content books is a great online business for beginners to get started in on their journey to building a passive income. However, there are some common mistakes that I see many beginners make that can stop them from making sales, prevent them from even starting the business or getting their KDP account terminated. In this video I discuss the 5 most common mistakes I see beginners make and some suggested solutions to these mistakes.

Yesterday was the first time I ever walked into a food bank for free food donations, and because of that it was also the first day that I finally pushed myself into submitting my first low content KDP book for review. This is just a starting point to get the ball rolling. My goal is to generate enough income so that we can eat and buy clothing and books and eventually be able to donate to the local food bank that is now helping to feed us.

Thank you, Paul, for all your good advice. My first book “The Gift of 476 Days” was written last fall after my granddaughter died of HLHS. I needed help publishing the book and found your videos to be of great help. It took well over a month to figure out the process with lots of help from other knowledgable people, but the paperback was finally published on January 9, 2024. Now I am dabbling in getting other books published as well, which should keep me off the streets and happily productive. Thanks again for all your practical advice and help. You’re the best!

Hi Paul, one of my goals for 2024 is to create a new income stream. So, for the past week, I have paid great attention to the advice in your videos. It's January 2 and I'm pleased to say I have submitted my first book to Amazon KDP - A mood tracker based on one of your recent videos. Thank you for your realistic and very practical advice. If this specific book never earns me a dollar I will be happy knowing I have gone through one of the hardest bits which is getting to the point of publication for the FIRST TIME. Really enjoying videos - and have a question. So many of the journals and planners are either hard bound or spiral bound (which Amazon doesn't print). Suggestions to overcome that aside form good design?

Hi, Paul. First of all, thank you so much or these videos. They're great and have been very helpful. I've run into a stumbling block, though. KDP has limited the number of books I can publish. They say if I want to do larger numbers to contact them, but there is no info anywhere in KDP about how to contact them. They link to "contact us" appears to be broken and just goes back to the FAQ page, which has no info that I can find. How did you publish large number of planners, etc. through KDP without hitting this wall? I'm planning to use your idea of more is more, but it's not really that easy. At least for me. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Paul. First Thank you for all that you do. Amazon just changed the rules where "low content" books will no longer be available for us to sell. Just wanted to get your take on how to pivot with the new rules.
It sounds like Log Books would be considered "low content".
As well as simple lined notebooks and journals.
I think that is why people who want to start Amazon KDP now, are being forced to create mid-level content books, such as coloring and activity books.
But I think the market is saturated with those too, and must require significant advertising also, in order to get them out in front of potential buyers.

Hi Paul, my Chrome profile got reset and I lost the extensions I used ... I remember you use AMZ Extender and maybe Helium 10 but for the life of me can't remember which extension you use to show BSR info on the results page :3

paul i wnat to need some help from your side ,the problem is that my books was approved but in last few months it become blocked whenever i upload it on kdp , i also discus this issue with amazon kdp team and mail too but they will not able to answer why the issue of block of this book and why every time new books are blocked.

How do you publish double sided pages on amazon?
I'm a complete Beginner, and so I listed my price as $5.99 (for a Blank Notebook/Journal with lined pages. The art on the cover is attractive). Amazon has just changed their selling price to $19.16 (from the original $5.99) and they initially made the other two colours that it comes in as 'Currently Unavailable' but also upped their price to $19.16 later on.
Am I allowed to increase my original ($5.99) list price or is this totally forbidden?

I can increase the value of the same ebook as follows: February 20th to $5.00; March 5th for $7.00; Mar 20th for $9.00 and Apr 5th for $12.00?
