Yes it works with cameras but I believe the a5100 does not have an external mike input so you can’t connect any microphone to it. The only thing you can do is use a microphone with an internal recording feature and then sync the audio to your video in post. It’s more work but it’s also higher quality audio than the camera’s microphone. This microphone’s got internal recording so it could be used that way if you don’t mind the extra steps

I’ve got the same DJI pocket 2 and recieved a wireless DJI microphone transmitter, I was wondering if I could connect it to an iPhone but after research and tryna multiple times I have no luck so I’m 99.9% sure it’s not possible. I’m thinking of getting this mic for my sony zv1, Cannon 80d and iPhone 11 Pro Max and 15 pro max hopefully, it works with all of these devices

I see a lot of influences pushing this mic with various camera setups, but no one mentions that it only records in mono when the transmitter is plugged into the iPhone
