but it doesn't have the absolutely mandatory windscreen fur. so it is not a good option.
is the transmitter vital? or can i plug it in directly to the aux-in on a dslr for example?

@@Xploreoclock i'd say you can, i have been using Comica mics recently and I can use the lavalier solo, so I would think it would be the same for dji :)

Will this new lav work with the previous DJI mics?
Yes, standard Lavaliere… will work. As of now there is No smart tech inside to pair it to only one device.
No, not every standard Lav will work, at least not with the DJI Mic ver 1 - its known that many have interference issues or strait up dont work sometimes. The closest have been the Shure MVL or the Power-Dewise Lav - but hopefully this lav mic by dji works with the first version@moneyboys2010
